8:30 Dismiss promptly ( You can stay if you like, but people need to go to work)

Four Main Purposes

Fellowship and Networking – Economic Development
Encouragement, Prayer, Support, Equipping, Godly counsel, Wisdom, Accountability
Employment – To deliberately win contracts and create jobs for the next generation.
Commonwealth – To provide ministries through spirit led compassionate acts of Jesus love:

James 1:27 (NKJV)

27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Isaiah 58: 12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places:
thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations;
and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach,
The restorer of paths to dwell in

Format:

We encourage people to read through the Bible each year using whatever yearly Bible reading plan works for them. I use the OneYearBibleOnline, Victory has a good one, YouVersion has one. I encourage people to pick one, and read it.

Great book by Steven K Scott. Great resource. He encourages people to meet and read a chapter of proverbs each day, and discuss it.

Proverbs – Whatever date we meet, we will read the chapter of proverbs from that date.

Discussion: Depending on how many people come, we will either simply go around the table and let everyone share, or if many come, we will break into small groups of 5-6 people, so everyone gets a chance to share.

We will begin promptly at 7:30AM and dismiss at 8:30Am.

If people want to stay, they are free to do so, but many of us gotta get to work.

Finances:

Jesus is to be Lord of this meeting, although I will do what I can to lead it. (Kinda like herding cats).

What this means, is simple: If we decide to do a project together, and we take up an offering together for it, I will provide tax receipts for donors, and make myself accountable for the handling of any money raised, and how it is spent. (full disclosure). If we do some kind of mega-project (which I suspect will probably happen, we serve a big God), we will probably register some sort of entity, form a board etc.

However, since Jesus is Lord of this thing, and I am not, I encourage people going on missions trips, or doing neat things for the kingdom of God to make their needs known. It does not hurt my feelings one bit to help a person get where they need to go in God, and count it an honor to serve them as they go. There is no ‘big I’ and little you in the kingdom of God. We are all loved equally by a holy God. If someone at our table is doing something for the kingdom of God, give money to them, not to me.

Suggestion: We keep a basic slush fund going to buy anyone that might need it coffee that morning, breakfast, or a tank of gas to get to work. It can be a long wait between checks when you are self-employed.

Just a brief update on the Walsh family, and AOM Ministries:
Here is what we are working on:
1. Homeschooling Keila and Jay. That keeps Karen busy, but I teach Keila math and science.
2. Getting 100 IVBI’s off the ground by April of 2014: Here’s where we are at:
Continuing relationship and follow up with the 51 potential IVBI’s. Pastor Sam Sam has begun classes in Kisumu, Kenya, and Bishop Evans Mukwa, is scheduled to begin one this month in Kitali, Kenya.
In no particular order, here are the schools and contacts we are working on in some way, shape or form, at present:
1. Bishop Evan Mukwa – 47 schools in Kenya, on for each county.
2. Pastor Jerry Tom and his associates Ron and Tyda Harvey, of Harvest Family Ministries, in Window Rock, Az, capital of the Navajo nation.
3. Pastor Yeurchi from Samalkot,India – school in process there.
4. Evangelist and pastor from Faislabad, Pakistan,
5. Potential school with Svan Duke in Port Harcourt, Nigeria
6. Potential school with one of the five civilized tribes here in Oklahoma.
3. Social Media outreach

As most of you know, we live in a different generation. It seems that Social Media, has become far more than a trendy hobby, but now boasts at least 500 different sites, catering to a huge variety of interests, with some specific to particular nations. What began this year, as simply posting the daily Bible reading on Facebook, has now become a WordPress blog, that posts to many Social Media sites. If I could find a way to link it all 500 sites, I would do it, to broadcast the word of God as fast and as far as I possibly can.
Ro 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

What has been happening, is that these daily blogs have gone out, and Ac 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied …..

I have been amazed, at how the Word of God has proven to be alive, and active, and quite capable of going places I cannot go(countries closed to the gospel), and reaching people (I hear back from them by email and messages) that I would not have targeted. These Bible studies, pictures, and posts get copied, shared, forwarded, and there is no way to tell how far this daily blog reaches. In the midst of this, I send out an article explaining the need for Bible schools, and for much of the year, I was receiving 3-5 inquiries/week from interested international leaders, who I diligently follow up with, to see if it is possible to get them qualified and accredited with Victory. If I can get them through the application process, Victory has been graciously donating the entire IVBI curriculum to their ministries, a wonder to behold. By mentoring and staying in relationship with international ministries, I endeavor to keep them encouraged, motivated, and moving forward in the process of hosting their own Bible college.

Whether we pioneer a new one, or simply encourage someone to graduate from an existing one, means little to me for my passion is to see the kingdom of God advance, and it is only as leaders are trained, equipped, and set down deep roots in the Word of God, that they can be effective to not only stand against the onslaughts of hell unleashed in this generation, but to victoriously take the gospel to the ends of the earth, with a corresponding demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s signs, wonders, and miracles.

Presently, Victory presently has over 1500 IVBI’s in 98 nations with 32,000 students currently enrolled! It is such a privilege to be part of a vision much bigger than any one of us could do individually.

At church one day, I heard pastor Sharon Daugherty mention that she had heard of a secular group who had a vision of placing a solar powered smart phone in the hands of every human being on planet earth, by the year 2015.

Here in America, Social Media, is a neat trend among this generation, but in many developing countries (Africa, India, Pakistan), it is simply better to carry a smartphone than a laptop, because of intermittent electricity, and internet. Many international business men find that cell phone service is much more reliable and affordable than this.

The goal is 6 days/week, to post the Victory Daily Bible Reading, and a daily Devo.
Presently, we post this on: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linked In, Pinterest, Tumblr, Digg, Stumbleon, and Path, with the intentional purpose, of adding many, many more in 2014.

If you know anyone that would like to help with this, I would love their wisdom and counsel. It is my dream to be able to simply produce the devotional material, then have a tech-savvy person do all the posting. Perhaps I could train one of my children to do this, as they are very computer savvy.

Parable of the Sower:- Well, I discover that I am responsible to steward the revelation that is in that book, and though it is now published, I feel the next step is to distribute 50 copies to both pastoral staff, and men’s prayer group at Victory Christian Center, and to get a copy into the bookstore and public library. Costs $300.00, I Could use your help to do this.

Kingdom Business Outreach – As you know, in 2012 we filmed 12 episodes of KBO, with the intention of producing 25 episodes to be translated into initially 4 languages (Telegu, Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese). These were not high enough quality for release on public television, so we decided to get a quote from Gene Stiener, to produce all 25 x ½ hour episodes, with translation included. He quoted us $13,000.00 to help produce, film, edit and translate all these episodes. If you haven’t seen it yet, nor understand what this is, view the trailer here:

I have disciplined myself to do many things each day, having learned clearly, that small, disciplined daily lifestyle changes, produce far greater results in the long run, than any passionate, short term pursuit.

Again, I would highly recommend two books, ‘The Slight Edge’ by Jeff Olsen, and ‘The Compound Effect’ by Darren Hardy to describe how you too, can maximize your impact, by setting some simple principals in motion. Both of these books are available both on-line at Amazon.com, or if you are not sure you want to purchase them yet, they can be borrowed through the Tulsa Public Library. I am continually in the word of God and prayer, and aggressively studying the various topics that Holy Spirit accents. This month I am studying the Cherokee History Course, which is really the history of Oklahoma, and the five civilized tribes. I am beginning to study the historic roots of racism here that I might effectively pray against it, with understanding. So much to learn….I am passionate to grow, to know, to understand, then to accent various truths uncovered, to build bridges in the kingdom of God – Blessed are the peacemakers…

As many of you know, we filmed 12 episodes of Kingdom Business Outreach last year with Joseph Raj from Victory, as an evangelistic outreach to business owners. It is to be translated into the Telegu language, for airing in India, with Dr. Wesley, to be aired on his television network that hosts 100 million viewers. There is discussion of my travelling to India second week of February. I did take the liberty of costing out a flight, and forwarding it to Dr. Wesley (around $1600). My faith for this trip is simple: If the money is there, so that my family are provided for while I am gone, I will go. Otherwise, it will wait..Where He leads, He feeds, Where He guides, He provides…
