Dis-Integrating

Dis – Integrating – Falling apart from Sin, without Christ.

disintegrate

No matter how hard you work, how fast you run, you will not be whole without Jesus, but are falling apart over the years, for there is a law only Christ can break, the law of sin and death. We are all tainted by original sin, there are no exceptions. It is not your upbringing, environment, your controlling parents, your poor genes, your culture, your economic problems, the ‘oppressive’ regime – it is something much more insidious and evil inside of all of us – our fallen nature – We need more than mere forgiveness and mercy, we need a new nature, and power to overcome the greatest of enemies – ourselves.

Here I sit, studying for my systematic theology midterm here at seminary, and as I read of the doctrine of ‘original sin’, I see afresh and anew, our great need for  a Savior.

There is an itch that nothing in this life can scratch, an inner lonliness, that even though surrounded by people, you are alone. Career, marriage, sex, academic success, family, friends, entertainment, hobbies, or long walks in nature will meet this deep hunger in your heart. I know – I’ve tried.

Wanna be whole?

Give everything to Jesus, and He will forgive, come into your life with power to overcome, put you together again.

Whatever Happened to Sin?

Hi everyone,

serpant apple

Been thinking about sin.

You know, things expressly forbidden by the word of God.

Just to be fair, let’s name a few, so that I do not single anyone out, because we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and Jesus died because He loved sinners. He paid the ultimate price for sin, it killed Him. He died upon the cross to bear the full weight of it, for all humanity.

Gal 5:

Living by the Spirit’s Power

16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. 18 But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.

19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control.
fruit of the spirit
There is no law against these things!

24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there.

As I read these verses, written to Christians, I see the clear what we are called to live, a life of honor, humility, love, purity, gratefulness, patience, gentleness, holiness, and love in Jesus.

Yet, we see, as the native proverb goes, the battle we all fight within ourselves…

good wolf bad wolf

If you have read much of my material, you discover the overwhelming thread of what I post is on the love, grace, goodness, and righteousness of God: Who we are before His throne, royal children of the most High God.

Read this article today, and it got me to thinking:

http://www.charismanews.com/opinion/in-the-line-of-fire/40930-is-it-only-the-goodness-of-god-that-leads-us-to-repentance

If I am a servant of Jesus, do I do humanity disservice, if I do not do as Jesus did, commanding men everywhere to repent?

If I call lying wrong? Am I a hater?

If I declare homosexuality to be wrong? Am I a gay basher?

If I declare that pornography, prostitution, child-sex trafficking are wrong? Am I judgemental, critical, non-loving?

How about envy, jealousy, pride? If I call these sins, am I no longer a ‘good news preacher’?

You can see where I am taking this line of thought.

Clearly, the overwhelming tragedy of the human experience is not the depth of degradation people allow themselves to wallow in, rather, in light of eternity, and the power of God available to any human being through the grace given us in Jesus, how far short of His glory, honor, holiness, purity and love we still choose to live.
victory-cross

When Jesus came to live inside of us, old things passed away, all things became new, yet I see so many fellow Christians, like dogs returning to their own vomit, living so far below their rights and privileges as believers.

2 Corinthians 6:

The Temple of the Living God

14 Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil[d]? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? 16 And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God.

temple

As God said:

“I will live in them

    and walk among them.

I will be their God,

and they will be my people.[e]

17 Therefore, come out from among unbelievers,

and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord.

Don’t touch their filthy things,

    and I will welcome you.[f]

18 And I will be your Father,

and you will be my sons and daughters,

    says the Lord Almighty.[g]

We are called children of the most high God, people who bear His name.

royalty

Yet, just like we need to change a few diapers as parents, as our children dirty themselves, even so, we are expected to grow out of the diaper stage into honor and holiness.

Yes, I love people.

Yes, like Jesus, I hate sin, for I see what it does to people, families, communities, and nations.

Titus 2:11 (AMP) For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind. (KJv 21) 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world,

Yes, we are adopted into the kingdom of God, but we are to become HOLY!

Notice here, that it is only God’s grace that allows us to do this, but that that very grace, teaches us.

For those who missed yesterday’s post: https://chrisaomministries.com/2017/02/13/grace-to-live/

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
sin kills
God loves us, yet as a good parent, He instructs us on the rules in His family, His kingdom, the ways of righteousness.
Sin kills, and if I am to truly love you, I must exhort you to holiness.
Let’s pray:
‘Father, May we see sin the way You do, and hate it the way You do. In Your love for us, convict us of our sin, and in Your grace, teach us how to leave it, and live in purity, honor, and love towards You and our fellow humanity. I ask this, knowing I am heard, for I ask in Your name Lord Jesus, AMen’

Sin is a predator!

Chris Karen Walsh's photo.

Genesis 4:7
Amplified Bible (AMP)
7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it.

Temptation is not sin, nor are the voices of satan in the earth, able to force us to bow to him, or sin, in any way.

Not sure who this is for today, but, you are being sorely tempted. I am praying for you, to not, open the door to sin, for behind this temptation, a devil lurks, wanting to devour you, and your life. He wants you to become his slave – God wants you free to walk in love as His child.

1 Peter 5:8
Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

satan lion
He may be seeking, AS a lion, but there is only one lion, the LION of the tribe of Judah, Jesus our victorious king.

It’s all about who you gonna serve – satan wants you to bow, and brings temptation to snare you, to get you back into his service, for how well he knows:

Romans 6:16 (KJV)

16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
slave

Do not yield to evil!

You must prevail, no matter how great the desire may be!

Jesus knows, and understands to well:

Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strongcrying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;

You can make it through without sinning!

Jesus is the way and the waymaker!

1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
faithful over temptation
Jesus is praying for you today, and so am I!

I did not say it was easy, but it is possible!
faith

There is a place in Jesus of absolute victory, where instead of fearing the lion of satan that preys upon the weak, you become so strong in the Lord and the power of His might, that like David’s mighty men of old, you become a lion hunter!

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew twolionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow:

Benaiah did not fear the lion, or the adverse conditions of his snowy cold day, but he brought the battle to the lion, and killed it.

There are battles in our own souls every bit as savage as hunting a wild lion, things inside of us, temptations that we must hunt and kill, or they will kill us.
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Mortify means to kill, deaden, and deprive of pleasure. Struggling with lust, pornography, alcohol, drugs, or other passions? There is power in the name of Jesus to kill those things, there is a life of freedom in the Holy Spirit.

We are warriors! More than conquerers in Jesus!

I am the storm
Let’s Pray:

‘Father, HELP! You see me, and what I face today. You are holy, and I want to do right. Give me grace to make it, and show me the way of escape you have promised over this temptation, today. I need you NOW Lord Jesus, to deliver me. Amen’

The Holiness of God Convicts….

The Holiness of Jesus, to Convict of Sin
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.

Luke 5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Is 6: 5 ¶ Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

There has been so much grace teaching these past few years, that the holiness of God is all but forgottan in the modern church. Truly, when we are born again, we have access to the very throne of God, and positionally, we have become the righteousness of God. In fact, the Holy Spirits greatest work is to do just that, to show us our righteousness before the throne of God, to woo us into our Fathers arms, to encourage us to fellowship with Jesus!

Yet, God is Holy. Peter met Jesus, and the first thing he was aware of, was his personal sin.

John the beloved saw Jesus in His glorified state, and fell on his face like a dead man.

Isaiah had the same experience: a revelation of the holiness and purity of God, and immediately he cried out.

Repentance, to see ourselves in the light of God’s holiness, and to immediately cry out for mercy and the cleansing, atoning power of the blood of Jesus.

Reportedly, when Charles Finney, after several days or weeks of intense prayer from the lips of father Nash, would enter a town, people would fall to the ground, groaning under the realization of their sin. Reportedly, over 80 percent of his converts, remained faithful to Jesus, after one of his meetings, have authentically met God.
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.

Then we read of the case of a famous faith preacher, Smith Wigglesworth, who reportedly felt a burden to pray while travelling on a train. He retreated to the restroom, and met with God there. When he emerged, the entire passenger car beheld his face, ‘as that of an angel’ and cried out to God for mercy, and he was able to lead them all to Christ, without a sermon spoken.

Then, there was the incident with the famous Kathryn Kuhlman, who after prayer in her hotel room, was being brought privately through the kitchen entrance of the hotel to the ball room where her meeting was being held. Reportedly, when the kitchen staff saw her glowing, they were all knocked to the floor by God’s power, as she simply walked across the room.
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
In my own life, I am reminded of several incidences where I saw God’s holiness displayed:
The first, was during the Toronto Blessing, or revival. There had been deep worship, and someone cried out prophetically: ‘The Fear of the Lord’. When they did, the Spirit of God fell in the meeting, and all 5000 of us present were knocked to the ground, and for over an hour, no one spoke or got up. The only sound was the occasional groaning or anguished weeping of people getting right with God in prayer.

In another meeting, at a Full Gospel Businessmans fellowship world conference, in Anaheim, California, in 1994, Benny Hinn gave an alter call for those desiring more of God’s power, the anointing. Like a wave, the Holy Spirit fell, and people, like dominos fell like stacked cordwood. As people got up, the crowd surged towards the platform, seeking to touch Benny Hinn. He yelled: ‘Back!” and when he did, a circle of light engulfed him, about 15 feet in diameter. He stood, looking into heaven, and this no one could get through this ring of fire. In fact, anyone touching it, was immediately knocked down. I was only 15 feet away when this happened, and I will never forget the illumination and glory on him at that moment. He was lit up in the power of God!

Then, I was at Rhema, a Bible school student, serving in the alter care. During one morning exhaltation service for the students, Kenneth E Hagin was there, and as I turned around from worship, I literally bumped into him. I had been praying for him for so many hours during this season of my life, that I simply said: ‘I love you!’ and gave him a hug. He chuckled and said, ‘I love you too son’, and we both went on. I rushed home after class to eat lunch that day to hurry back for prayer school, and as I turned to leave out little apartment, the power and presence of God came upon me, and I was knocked to the floor, realizing many, many sins in my life, in my heart. As Iay there weeping, I realized that the anointing and love from brother Hagin, had revealed these things, in order to cleanse and heal my heart.

The Holiness of God revealed, will bring repentance.

This, is the greatest need in the church today. A revelation of the holiness and love of Jesus, that will cause people to forever turn from compromise and evil.

Let’s pray:
Father, Peter, Isaiah, John, and now Chris, have all had encounter with your love and holiness, that changed them forever. Please do it for me, today, in your name Lord Jesus, Amen’

Sin will hurt YOU!

Sin will hurt you!

racoon

Sin always costs more than you were willing to pay, and takes you furthur than you wanted to go.

Gary Richmond, a former zoo keeper, had this to say: Raccoons go through a glandular change at about 24 months. After that they often attack their owners. Since a 30-pound raccoon can be equal to a 100-pound dog in a scrap, I felt compelled to mention the change coming to a pet raccoon owned by a young friend of mine, Julie. She listened politely as I explained the coming danger. I’ll never forget her answer. “It will be different for me. . .” And she smiled as she added, “Bandit wouldn’t hurt me. He just wouldn’t.” Three months later Julie underwent plastic surgery for facial lacerations sustained when her adult raccoon attacked her for no apparent reason. Bandit was released into the wild. Sin, too, often comes dressed in an adorable guise, and as we play with it, how easy it is to say, “It will be different for me.” The results are predictable.

If you do well [believing Me and doing what is acceptable and pleasing to Me], will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well [but ignore My instruction], sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you [to overpower you], but you must master it.”
tiger crouch

All of us have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God, all of us have desires to do wrong, the devil and his minions will make sure of it.

The question is: Will we rise up in the power of God’s love, and conquer our own personal demons, and become the people of honor and integrity that Jesus died that we become, or do we simply, quietly, die, one day at a time, in a life of mediocrity and compromise.

There is victory in Jesus over sin, and we are called to walk in it!

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, you see my life. You have seen my compromise, and pet sins. Give me courage and grace to end immoral relationships, leave my life of mediocrity, and to rise up in Your power and strength, and fully serve Jesus in this, my generation, without compromise. Help me to be the person of love, honor, and integrity You have created me to be, in Your name I pray Lord Jesus, AMEN!’

Taking the Fear Out of Sin…

Taking the fear out of sin…

fear obedience

Judges 21:25

In those days [when the judges governed] there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes

As we have pursued a true grace filled life, fully led of the Holy Spirit, we as a people discover, that we must keep a careful watch upon the words we speak each day, and our actions, being quick to ask Jesus forgiveness when we miss it.

As we have purposed to follow Him fully, we discover the fear of the Lord: not just an awesome reverence for who He is, but an actual respect and fear, as we submit to His intimate correction and chastening.

Hebrews 12:6

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:7

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

It is only those God intimately loves that He corrects, and disciplines…

Yet, it has been said that Jesus bore all of our sins, past, present and future, and that we live a grace filled life, full of love, mercy, goodness, with no consequences for sin.

Let’s look at this for a minute.

If I was the devil, and I wanted to destroy you, but recognized that you were now born-again, powerful, walking in kingdom authority, part of the rule and reign of Jesus, I would not confront you head on.

James 2:19

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Satan knows the awesome power of God, and his judgment to come, and he and his demons tremble.

So, what does he do?

He seduces through deception, and small compromises, and gets you to think that small compromises are okay, God won’t mind, and since the consequences of these compromises are not always immediate – He takes the fear out of sin.

He did it with Eve, in the age old lie, ‘Did God really say?’

Now, he had to replace the fear of consequences, with faith in no consequences.

Let’s look at it.

3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons

Notice, if you will the beginning of the deception: ‘Hath God said?’v1

Satan knows exactly what God said, and He also knows that if you obey what God said, He has no power over you, you are unstoppable.

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled
full obedience

Notice the next verse, the woman said that we should not eat NOR touch the fruit of the tree.

Here we see her deception, because she had added to the specific commandment of God given to Adam.

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die

Now, the devil lies with specific intent: He says, ‘You shall not surely die’ then he presents glorious rewards,

Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Here is the wonderful deception. ‘You shall be like gods’

  1. They were already like gods. Adam was god of this world, with full authority and dominion to rule the earth, with God.
  2. Knowing good and evil – Satan knew evil, Eve did not. The Bible said she was deceived. Yet, satan’s deception was very good: 1. Disobey the clear commandment of God 2. There will be no consequences for your disobedience 3. You will become greater than you are, like a god.

There is much that can be said here, but the point Holy Spirit has me to make is simple:

Satan works on us by taking the fear out of sin.

More specifically, he takes the fear of the consequences of sin from us.

So, he begins his work on us, just like he did Adam and Eve, because he is at least as smart as Balaam, and knows that if he can get us doing enough hardened sin, God Himself will destroy us.

This is wonderfully illustrated in the Christian movie, ‘TimeChanger’

Time Changer

http://www.amazon.com/Time-Changer-D-David-Morin/dp/B0000AZT2V/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1447169800&sr=1-1&keywords=timechanger

As I read this passage of Scripture, I was reminded of this truth.

Ezekiel 21:

24 “Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Again and again you remind me of your sin and your guilt. You don’t even try to hide it! In everything you do, your sins are obvious for all to see. So now the time of your punishment has come!

Isaiah 5:21

Woe (judgment is coming) to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever and shrewd in their own sight!

Just because consequences were not instant, does not mean they will not come.

More and more I feel like a voice crying out in the wilderness, with tears in my eyes, and heart full of love for God and His people, crying REPENT!

So few hear, so few apparently care…

Let’s pray:

‘Father, You are holy. Your Word is true. Search me, show me, and give me grace to live holy, pure, and sinless in Your sight, not just positionally through Jesus blood, but practically, in my daily thoughts, words and deeds. I ask you come as a refining fire and grant me purity of heart and motive. I ask, knowing I am heard and answered, for I ask in Your name Lord Jesus.”

Fresh Sin – Must meet fresh fire from the alter

fresh sin

There must be a fresh revelation of the fear of the Lord in the earth. People have lost the actual fear of sin, therefore they think there are no consequences for it. It pays, always, in death! Death to relationships, businesses, families, churches, and nations. You either kill it, or it will kill you. Bring back the cross!

Sin costs

1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Seems, the message inside of me, is becoming louder: Repent!

Truth seems to fall on the streets, people have lost their fear of the Lord. It is like I must cut through scar tissue to reveal the horrible infection within that is killing people.

Yet, I must preach truth, no matter how unpopular, Loving God is HATING Sin!

preach the word

Yes, Jesus really does love us, but He Hates sin. We must kill it, or it will surely kill us.

Ever wonder why your prayers are not getting answered like they used to?

Ever wonder why the Lord does not show up intimately like He used to in your prayer, praise and worship times?

Consider this verse:

Psalm 66:18

If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

It’s like the old story about cooking the live frog. If you get the water boiling hot and throw him in, he jumps out. So, you put him in, and turn up the heat slowly. He gets comfortable, and viola! The water boils, and you have cooked yourself a frog.

cook a live frog

Exactly how deceptive sin becomes. Satan brings it subtly, gently turning up the heat in our lives, until we make that one fatal error, and our lives are cut short by tragedy, sickness, or calamity. Started off with small, almost insignificant compromises in the business of life, we compromise on purity of thought, our personal walk of holiness – the little white lie, the rationalization, the extra look at a seductive image on the internet, the extra movie or time in front of the television, the weekends in recreation instead of church, and the water be getting hotter around it, and we become comfortable with compromise;

vile

JUMP FROGGY!

It is called repentance!

Pray all night if you must. Get yourself away someplace and take a bath in the Word of God, listening to audio Bible for however many hours and days it takes to get cleansed, renewed, washed by the water of the word.

God does see our lives, all of them, and one day, the scariest words ever spoken by Jesus are:

iniquity

Never on here, have I posted such a strong Word, yet I believe I have heard the heart of God to do so.

Yes, we in the last days. Perhaps this word finds you already far down the slippery slope of moral compromise, almost completely numb to the intensity of these truths.

There really is a straight and narrow way we might follow Jesus in.

There is a specific plan, purpose and design for your life, full of love, life, grace, and good things, but sin will destroy everything joyful, honorable, and holy in it!

Let’s pray:

‘Father, Creator of Heaven and earth, forgive me. Lord Jesus, wash me in Your precious blood. Holy Spirit, fill me, wash me, empower me to again hunger and thirst for righteousness. Open again to me Your Word, and make it alive to every dead area of my heart and weariness of my soul. I ask this, knowing I am heard and answered, for I ask in Your name Lord Jesus, AMEN.

Seven Things I Pray President Obama Do Before he leaves office

If I were to suggest President Obama do 7 things before he leave office, this would be my list:

Obama praying

  1. Repent. While He holds the office of the President of the United States, there is a higher office than this, to which he will give an account. Jesus is Lord of Heaven and earth, and each of us, will one day appear before Him, and give an account of how we lived our life. Some time ago, I mentioned that we used to bring some people from a government housing project to a monthly Christian businessman’s fellowship that met in the top of a nice condominium building, in the penthouse suite. It was the highest and nicest place in the building. My definition of repent then, is to return to the high place, the place of privilege and honor.  https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/04/24/whatever-happened-to-sin/

The Bible says that Jesus

raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV)

Our position in Christ is one of royal privilege before the throne of God, the judge of all the universe. Though Jesus shed blood, we have been given access to mercy and the throne, where the Holy One who inhabits eternity lives. His Word is His will, and where we have sinned and failed to perform His Word, we can ask for, and receive mercy from Him, in this life.

The first thing I would do, today, is ask for God’s forgiveness for every unholy act and decision he has committed, then for strength, to admit his wrongs, and to boldly act and to correct what the Scripture clearly says is wrong.

Some of this needs to be done privately before God, but decisions made publically, need to be repented of publically.

I think of Pilate, that had Jesus crucified, though he knew He was innocent. Jesus told him that Pilate only had authority because it was given to him by God in heaven.

Yet, one day, Pilate died, and in that moment, appeared before the risen Christ. Now he was on trial, for his eternal judgement. In that moment, all that Jesus could do, is sentence him to hell like Judas, for he did not find mercy…

What is the difference between Saul, Judas, Pilate AND David or Peter.

All sinned against God.

The only difference is, David and Peter recognized their sins were against God Himself, and they did business with Him and cried out to God for mercy, and despite the horrible consequences that came to David and his family because of his sin, was declared before God to be a man after his own heart.

Repentance

Acts 13: (NKJV)

22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David[a] the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will

David was a liar, committed genocide, treason, stole holy things, committed adultery, murder, and had multiple wives.

Yet God forgave him it all and at the end of his life, he was considered a man after God’s own heart.

Before President Obama was re-elected, I asked the Lord why?

According to the word of God, abortion is wrong. Homosexuality is wrong. Islam is wrong, yet the Scripture states that rulers are set in place by God Himself according to Romans 13:1-5.

I believe I heard the voice of God speak to me that Proverbs 21:1

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes

That though God did not agree with these things, that “He was going to turn the heart of President Obama, and that he would do great good for the kingdom of God, and the United States before he left office.”

I am still praying that for President Obama. That he would sell out for Jesus, whole heartedly, renounce Islam, abortion, homosexuality, and would publically stand boldly for Jesus, God’s kingdom, and would call this nation back to God.

2. That He would publically proclaim the gospel and stand fully for Jesus and the Bible. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/11/10/the-gospel-the-power-of-god/

3That he would call a meeting of first nations peoples, and publically read the apology he signed in 2009 by the US government to natives for historical atrocities committed there. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/07/07/us-government-apology-to-natives/

4.That he would publically oppose institutionalized racism, and would implement a task force to both identify and eliminate it.

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/01/25/using-racial-privilege-to-promote-the-kingdom-of-god/

5.That he would denounce abortion completely, and make it a criminal offence. That he would help educate and provide adoption services to un-wed mom’s. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/08/05/gods-opinion-of-abortion/

6.That he would call homosexuality what it is, sin. According to God, all sex outside of the bounds of marriage between and man and a woman is also sin.  Just because two people have strong feelings for one another, and the sexual plumbing is working fine, does not make sex legitimate in the sight of a holy God. Passion and lust never satisfy the deeper needs of the human heart, Jesus promises that His living waters will. Just ask the woman at the well. Married tour times, living with her fifth man, yet not satisfied. John 4.

7. That He call a time of 3 days of fasting and public humiliation and prayer, for God to come and meet with us, that He might forgive us individually and as a nation, and heal our land. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2013/09/22/heal-our-land/

Persecution Purifies – Choose This Day Who You Will Serve!

Persecution Purifies

persecution

Armed with the mind to suffer:

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

In this account, we see persecution occurring in the early church:

Acts 8:1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles.

Here’s my take on this verse: People found the love of Jesus, and the beautiful community that had come as a result of Holy Spirit being poured out upon a group of believers, and this rich, ever deepening fellowship was wonderful.

persecution surprise

Yet, the church is more than a place of loving community. It is God’s arsenal against the gates of hell, that shall never prevail against it!

The great commission had become the great omission here, and instead of aggressively working to take the gospel to the nations, they had become complacent, comfortable, and probably segregated from the general population, intent on simply growing their own families and community, and not reaching out to the world.

Great commission

So, God allowed persecution to come.

What was the result?

‘And they were all scattered abroad’.

If we refuse to willingly GO in obedience to the clear directive of the Word of God, seems God will allow the Word of God written upon our hearts to get out there the hard way.

And so we see America today. Today they not only legalized same-sex marriage federally, but have ruled that it be enforced in each state. They have already brought in government health care that provides for abortion, and so demons are ruling where we have permitted them, and now there will come persecution to the church in America.

There is no demilitarized zone in the kingdom of God. We are either aggressively enforcing with our faith and authority the victory Jesus has provided over the world the flesh and the devil, or we are responding to hellishly inspired attacks.

The day of comfortable Christian community has ended, and now, godless people demand: ‘Who are you to tell me what to do?’

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/04/24/whatever-happened-to-sin/

When we say that sin is wrong, they will persecute us, and we must stand boldly in the love of God and proclaim the gospel.

As we do, the leaders of the day will feel the power of the Holy Spirit….

Acts 24:25

And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled,

It has become kingdom against kingdom, as God flexes His muscles against this onslaught of hell.

build church key

It is the last days: Luke 21:10

Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

2 Timothy 3(AKJV)

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

These are those who will bring the persecution….

For those of us that have endured hardship, and sold out for Jesus, it will just be another day in the gospel, good news, as God moves desperately needed laborers into kingdom work, but for those serving their own ‘version’ of Christianity:

Amos 6:1

Woe to them that are at ease in Zion,

 please God

Good news to those sold out for him…tough times for those sitting on the fence as God radically adjusts things…

Let’s Pray:

‘Father, in Your light, we see light. Show me the areas where I have compromised Your Word, and neglected Your will, Your ways, and Your work. As shaking comes, give me grace to stand boldly for you, serving in love, the great commission and this great harvest You are bringing into your church. I love You Lord Jesus. Amen’
