Identity Crisis!

Identity Crisis!
In Christ identity

It is of the utmost importance to understand who we are in Christ, how God see’s us. In this fractured, broken society, where the family unit is ever under attack from all sides, this is critical information. Why?
4 life change to happen, we must apply the power of our identification to Christ @ the specific point of temptation.

Because now matter how dysfunctional your upbringing, or how messed up your parents were, you need to understand that God, the Creator of the universe, created you, and that you are not a mistake, an accident, a mess going somewhere to happen.
mistake

When that sperm hit your mothers egg in her womb, your immortal spirit was given to the earth, with unique DNA, destiny, plan, and purpose. As flesh and bone formed around your spirit, your soul and body were formed, but you, the real you, are a spirit, and your Father, your Creator, is the Father of all spirits.
you-are-a-spirit

Psalm 13913 For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
:
Even if you are the product of a rape, or come from a mom who had multiple partners, and you have never had any real family unit, you are not an accident.
accident

God saw all this, and in His sovereign love, grace, and plan for this plan, He gave you as a gift to this planet, He is the one who gave you life!

Ps 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

In order to experience that life, and life more abundantly, you are going to need to meet Jesus. Your heart, spirit and soul may be ravaged by the trauma and tragedy you have experienced. You may be an orphan in the eyes of the world, but you can be adopted into a loving family, the family of God. You have a Father, and He loves you. He is Almighty, and Jesus is not only the way, but the way-maker for your life. He is a Father to the fatherless, a friend to the widow an orphan, an ever-present help in time of need.
father-to-fatherless

Ps 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

Today, He wants to take you up into His arms, and teach you some things. Nestled in His love, He would show you the reason you are here, the purpose for your life, the life you were born to live.

not-orphan

Let’s look at the Word of God for a minute. Why? Thought there are many voices in the earth, there is One that will never change, and His Word is forever established in the heavens. He is One that, if you receive Him, will never leave nor forsake you, and He can and will give to you, your deepest needs met for affirmation, acceptance, approval, love, instruction, discipline, nurture, provision, direction, purpose and absolute truth and trust, that cannot be broken. He cannot lie, or betray you, for He is holy!

Ps 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
no lie

Nu 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

He is your Father, and He loves you. He has a place for you, in the family of God.

Psalm 68:6  (AMP)
6 God places the solitary in families and gives the desolate a home in which to dwell; He leads the prisoners out to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

Ps 107:41 Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.

He is the King, and the Church is an expression of His Kingdom, here in the earth.

Eph 3: 14 ¶ For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

If you have received Jesus, as your Lord and Savior, He adopts you into His family, and reveals to you your place on this planet, a far great place than you could ever ask for or think.

John 1: 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons or daughters of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

I have prepared series of teachings, on who we are, in Christ, in Him, Christ in us, the Hope of Glory. I pray that you take these, personalize these, and put your name in each verse, and meditate upon them, as the truth of these loves out your deepest pain and heartache.

God plan
Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I receive Jesus, and your adoption into your family and kingdom. Place me, by your own hand, into the position you have ordained from me, from before the foundation of the world. Destroy in me, the lies, of my worthlessness, my pain, my past, my shame, and reveal to me the life I was born to live. Speak to me, lead me, guide me. In your name I pray Lord Jesus. Amen’

Visions of Glory…Walking out Your Heavenly Vision

Visions of Glory
heavenly vision
Acts 10:19 ¶ While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

Ever had an authentic vision from God, that you didn’t understand, or that was clearly beyond your personal current ability to accomplish?
impossible man
I am in the midst of that personally, presently. I have a vision from heaven for my life, that involves many nations, peoples, and ministries, that is clearly revolutionary, and will bring wonderful grace, power, and blessing to the earth, in this, my generation.

Daily, as I seek the Lord, and think on this vision, Holy Spirit speaks!
prophecy speaks through prophets
When He speaks, He often speaks very specifically, directly, and far outside of my comfort zone, but always in terms of something I am able to do, immediately.

Could you imagine crying out to God, for His power revealed in your life, that He might use you in His gifts and miracles, and then Him speaking: ‘Go, spit on the ground, make some mud, and put it in that blind man’s eyes’. Yeah, right…

I heard a minister testify of how God had used him to raise over 200 people from the dead.
Some of the things God asked him to do, in terms of fasting and prayer, were very extreme, (Like a 9 month fast where he ate 3 days/week, and fasted four).
A more traditional Christian said to him, ‘You are out of your mind!’
His reply makes me smile to this day: ‘No I’m not, I’m just out of yours, I’m over in the mind of Christ”
So, have you ever taken an extended time in prayer and fasting to hear exactly why God created you, and His vision and plan for your life?
If you have have authentically heard the specific voice of God for your life, written down what He said, you may have a fresh understanding of the little plaque the Oral Roberts used to have on his desk that read: ‘Make no little plans here!”

It started like so many evenings. Mom and Dad at home and Jimmy playing after dinner. Mom and Dad were absorbed with jobs and did not notice the time. It was a full moon and some of the light seeped through the windows. Then Mom glanced at the clock. "Jimmy, it's time to go to bed. Go up now and I'll come and settle you later." Unlike usual, Jimmy went straight upstairs to his room. An hour or so later his mother came up to check if all was well, and to her astonishment found that her son was staring quietly out of his window at the moonlit scenery. "What are you doing, Jimmy?" "I'm looking at the moon, Mommy." "Well, it's time to go to bed now." As one reluctant boy settled down, he said, "Mommy, you know one day I'm going to walk on the moon." Who could have known that the boy in whom the dream was planted that night would survive a near fatal motorbike crash which broke almost every bone in his body, and would bring to fruition this dream 32 years later when James Irwin stepped on the moon's surface, just one of the 12 representatives of the human race to have done so?

Abandon All – I Dare You!

Abandon All - I Dare You!

The Word of God is Greater!
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
Today, in our daily Bible reading, we read Luke 11, and there is the account of Mary, Jesus mother asking to see him, while He is in the middle of teaching and preaching.
This account puts an axe to the root of the false doctrine taught in the Roman Catholic Church where I was raised: ‘The Co-Redemption of Mary, mother of God’. Not every parish teaches this, and I love the Catholic church, and my Christian friends serving there, but Mary, is not God, but is a woman chosen of God, to bring Jesus into the earth
Luke 11: 28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

We love Mary, and will love her in heaven!

Yet, she too needed a Saviour (Lu 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.) for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God:

Jesus is who He says He is, the only way to the Father, and eternal life, God the Son, Second person of the trinity.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Tim 2: 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Ac 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Whether Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or simply American by God, you must come to Jesus to make heaven. There is no other way to find salvation and eternal life.

No matter how great a person is, or worthy of honor in this life, we are commanded to love God more than any other earthly relationship.
In this case, Jesus was asked to go out and speak with his mother and brothers, and a lady extolled his mom.

Luke 11:27 ¶ And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

While Jesus loved and honored his mom, she is not God, He is and only did the will of our Father in heaven.

His reply, is eternally recorded for us in the written word of God:

Luke 11: 28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Yes, we love, honor, and respect our parents, but there will come a day, when we receive a clear directive from heaven, that our parents have not received. At that point, we need to obey God, not them.

This does not mean that we should ever disrespect or dishonor them, not matter how difficult they may be.

When I became a Christian, my mother, a devout Catholic, who attended mass each morning, disowned me, for leaving the Catholic church. Let’s just say that the next five years attending family gatherings were strained at best.

Yet, despite this, what I experienced was nothing in comparison to what a Muslim, Buddhist, or Hindu may experience in coming to Christ. They may be beaten or killed for their profession of faith!

The worst part, is that the very ones orchestrating the persecution, may well be their own family members.

Hear the words of Jesus:

Mark 10: 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

This is not a popular message, but it is the only true message of the cross. Jesus did not call us to come and be blessed (although He does love us indeed and bless us). He calls us to eternal life, and to total allegiance to Himself, a life of radical obedience.

Matt 10: 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Mt 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Mr 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Lu 12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

There is a cost to following Jesus, and there are times He will speak, and it will take everything you have, to obey:

John 6: 61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

Because of the great value of the call of God; its heavenly rank, privilege, and office being so precious; God does not beg anyone to follow Jesus to receive it.

In fact, He makes it hard….

What price tag can be placed on eternal life?

Lu 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Lu 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Lu 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Yes, there is a place of great blessing, privilege, and grace upon the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, and many come and enjoy the goose bumps that come from the presence of the Lord, the warm fuzzies that come from the love and presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst. Many see the miracles, the blessings, the joy, and enjoy the worship and upbeat praise. Some come, loving the fellowship, seeing the grace of God upon a people, who honestly endeavor to love, honor, respect, and bless each other, in the love of God. Some see the compassionate outreaches, the food distributions to the poor, the help to the single moms and orphans, the friendships and relationships that are so much better than outside the church.

Yet know this: If you want your life to count for eternity, you have a one on one, personal encounter coming with Jesus.

When that happens, you are either going to abandon all, and follow Him entirely, no compromise, or live in that wobbly place, of unsatisfied desire.

You will know what to do, but if you don’t do it, there is no peace in your heart, and you will at best, be frustrating to live with or be around because you will be angry with yourself, and God.

Pr 19:3 The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.

When you come face to face with Jesus, and His claims, you are either going to sell out to Him, and obey, or choose your own way in life. If you do, your heart will betray you, and will ‘fretteth against the Lord.’ Another version says, ‘his heart rages against the Lord!’

I like the way author CS Lewis puts it: ‘Christianity has not been tried, and found wanting, it’s been found difficult, and not tried’

You will find, like the singer Andre Crouch said: ‘I thought I had given my all, until I heard Him ask for more…’

How extreme can the call of God be?

Consider the life of the apostle Paul:

He heard God to go preach in Jerusalem. He was warned by a prophet, that if he went, he would be bound, beaten, and imprisoned. While those of less courage, told him not to go, he exclaimed:

Acts 21:10 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.
11 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
12 And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.
13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Well, you can read Acts 21-23 to see the beatings, tumult, imprisonment of Paul in Jerusalem, and most people would think, that he must have missed it for sure.

Yet, what did Jesus say to Paul:

Ac 23:11 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

Whose approval do you want anyway? I live to put a smile of Jesus face, to render to Him, an acceptable recompense for His suffering. He is worthy, and altogether faithful. He has loved me, when I despised myself, and I love Him, unto death if necessary.

Living for Jesus, may not be comfortable, and may well cost you everything.

Some years ago, I attended a worship conference in Ottawa, Ontario featuring a worship leader named Kent Henry. God really touched me there, and for the next three weeks, our pastor allowed me and friend to come into the church, and worship, pretty much day and night, while listening to the 30 or so worship CD’s purchased at the conference. Rich times of fellowship with the Lord, addicted to His presence! I was driving a school bus for the Ottawa Christian School at that time, and I was able to spend the days between runs in worship, and each night til midnight, singing, praying, lost in His glory. Tremendous times. During this time, there was a headline in the local paper, where it was announced that over 800 run away teens, were living on the streets downtown, using a heated walkway for the bus, to sleep in. People were concerned, as these teens were pan handling, and were often unruly at best. During that time of worship, the Lord directed me to go to my pastor, and my employer, and see if I could use my school bus a couple times per week, to go evangelize these youth, and bring them to church. Both the pastor and my employer said yes, as long as we filled the fuel tank after each trip, and cleaned the bus before school. So, off we went, pulling the bus up alongside gangs of youth, shouting ‘want to come to church?’, and it was a blast! Incredible signs, wonders, miracles. Will never forget the impact of that first mid-week service, where a group of older ladies put out sandwiches for the first group of kids, 30 or so tattooed, pierced, and freaky looking teens, and the pastor, circled the chairs in the sanctuary and loved on those kids so personally and intimately in leading them to Christ, and praying for each of them individually, as one by one, they broke down and wept, and poured out their hearts to Jesus, and He met them. Incredibly busy times. For the next nine months, we ran that bus, and followed up with these teens, helping them find homes, shelter, freedom from drugs and prostitution and crack houses. Walking into some very dangerous gang violence situations, and being protected and delivered, repeatedly. We received 833 signed decision cards for Christ for kids that actually rode the bus, and walked to the alter and got saved.

Yet, the original church was mostly middle class suburbia folks, and these wild eyed teens, were not exactly safe. People began to leave the church, because they did not feel their children were safe, and there were intense growing pains, and some very heated moments of fellowship!

Finally, the founding pastor, who had been retired and simply a member of the congregation, announced he was coming out of retirement, and founding another church, and it split the church wide open.

During this time, I was dealing with the illness of my parents, they both contracted lung cancer, and eventually died from it. I was tired. Poured out, cored out, hurting at a level only God truly understood. I had been accused of being a rebel, defiant, unsubmitted to authority, of splitting the church.

So, I took time away from it all to seek the face of Jesus, asking Him for forgiveness, the devil screaming in my mind, that I had missed God, and caused all the devastation I witnessed in the church split.

I moved out to a friend’s farm for a couple of months, he and his wife had raised six children, and serve as missionaries to India. One day, while there, I caught a clip of Rhinhart Bonnke ministering in mass crusade

I was amazed at the masses being moved by the gospel, and I was on my knees weeping in gratefulness, and in intercession for this incredible harvest when suddenly, Jesus spoke to me, as only He can:

“Get off your face! You have not sinned against me! I spoke to you, to go to those teens, and I anointed and sent you. I knew that the church would split before I sent you! Then, He began to weep, and said: ‘I counted the cost before I sent you, but my people do not believe in hell, and I had to have those kids in my kingdom. I had to send you!’

I looked at the brutal cost of this harvest, the death of my parents, my pastor burned out and removed from ministry, close friendships destroyed, even to this day, my home church split!

Yet, Jesus called these ‘acceptable losses’, that He might save some children that had no hope, that He had to have in His kingdom!

I still remember the light, the glory, the gratefulness in the eyes of these teens we fought for. The confrontations with a pimp, to rescue 14-15 year old girls from his brutal sex trade: where are they now?

Walking into crack houses, to find 20-30 kids all passed out on the floor, after partying all night, and leading to the Lord and bringing them to church…

Sometimes we fight for the fatherless, for the Lord is their strong defender…they have no other hope!

Jesus is a man of war, and we are warriors…

Yet, in light of eternity, there is nothing else to do. His love can wreck your heart very deeply…the intensity of His passion for people is a radical thing!

Joh 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

This world needs eternal life, and the love that only Jesus can bring.

Wherever you are, whatever the cost, give your life to Jesus, and seek Him until He answers you, personally.

Whatever He says, no matter how difficult it may appear, DO IT!

When you do, heaven will be on its feet, and you will start making headlines there. Suddenly, angelic appearances, signs, wonders, and miracles become commonplace, as the power of Almighty God begins to bear witness to your obedient life, gift and calling.

Hebrews 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

Heb 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

Perhaps this is your Christian experience: prison, beatings, mockings, and outcast and isolated for the call of God.

He will never leave you nor forsake you, and I too have suffered…

2Th 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

I am praying for you today.

‘Father, for some reading this, they need that Word from heaven, authorizing their radical obedience. Speak to them.

For others, they have heard from You, but have got busy with many other things, refusing the cross, the cost, and the pain. Forgive them, and give them courage to obey, and fully sell out for Jesus, and obey Him into their call.’

Then, there are those, my company. Those of whom the world is not worthy, who have counted the cost, and have obeyed, and have been at best, misunderstood, and shunned from polite company. Many have been beaten, imprisoned, and following You, has cost them everything. For these I pray also, that Jesus, the way, be our waymaker today. Make a way, where there appears to be no way. Truly we have learned that we cannot live on mere bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from your lips master. Speak, and we will obey. Demonstrate Your kingdom today through our lives, with mighty acts of Your power, demonstrations of signs, wonders, and miracles. Grant us the rich presence of Holy Spirit, our, friend, and protect, provide, and promote us, for the sake of the gospel and Your glory, today. In Your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

He does the impossible, when we simply play our song!

Grace…

He does the impossible, when we simply play our song!

He does the impossible, when we simply play our song…

Ignace Jan Paderewski, the famous Polish composer-painist, was once scheduled to perform at a great American concert hall for a high-society extravaganza. In the audience was a mother with her fidgety nine-year-old son. Weary of waiting, the boy slipped away from her side, strangely drawn to the Steinway on the stage. Without much notice from the audience, he sat down at the stool and began playing “chopsticks.” The roar of the crowd turned to shouts as hundreds yelled, “Get that boy away from there!” When Paderewski heard the uproar backstage, he grabbed his coat and rushed over behind the boy. Reaching around him from behind, the master began to improvise a countermelody to “Chopsticks.” As the two of them played together, Paderewski kept whispering in the boy’s ear, “Keep going. Don’t quit, son…don’t stop…don’t stop.”

Please hear the voice of our Father in this simple story! You are His child, and He has exhorted me to share with you today: “Keep going. Don’t quit my child, don’t stop…don’t stop.”

You are on the right path!

Keep playing your song, no matter how simple, childish, and foolish it might appear to you.

He is the maestro, the master musician, reaching His arms around you, to cause your simple song to become the beautiful melody of grace sung against this tapestry of time, He is making beautiful things through you, today.

Let’s Pray:
“Father, I hear you! I will continue, even though it seems fruitless, pointless, and hopeless. I choose to believe, that You, Almighty Creator of Heaven and of the earth, are singing over me today, making beautiful melodies of Your great love and grace, through my life, as I simply keep moving forward in your calling and gifting. Give me courage, strength, and wisdom, to simply, not give up…in Your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen!”

YOUR Great Commission – Embracing YOUR Destiny!

YOUR Great Commission - Embracing YOUR Destiny!

Your Great Commission!

The Call of God!
Matt 10: 1 ¶ And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

In this passage of Scripture, we see Jesus commissioning His 12 disciples. There is much that we can learn from this, for Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever, and even as He commissioned these people, He has a specific commission for you, and your life.

build church key

Notice the word ‘power’ used here. In English we have two words, we translate as power. The one used is ‘exousia’, which we understand as authority. The other word, ‘dunamis’ means explosive power, like dynamite. In this case, they were granted authority in the kingdom of God, and that authority was over all demons, sickness and disease. When they commanded these things to leave, it was expected that demonstrated, explosive power would result, expelling diseases, and healing the sick.

Authority

Many think that once we become born-again, and perhaps even filled with the Holy Spirit, that we need to GO, into the harvest field He has provided for us. Yet, there is a call of God, then, after sufficient preparation, there is a commission of God. I remember my father, in serving in the navy, after four years of officer training, was granted his first commission as an officer. Though he had the rank when he enlisted, he did not yet have the authority to command men and equipment, until his commanding officers granted him a commission.

dad

In this case, Jesus had been training, disciplining, growing and teaching his disciples, for a period of years in the Word of God. They had been hand-picked and called by Him, yet not yet commissioned. Notice that the call does not equal the commission! The qualification for the call is character, a seemingly forgotten message any more in the Body of Christ. (Job description of Christian leaders is 1 Tim 3:1-7)

leadership

I have also painfully learned, that the call and office of God, will come with a corresponding supernatural anointing, to perform signs, wonders, and miracles. Anointing does not equal appointing!

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/01/10/laborers-the-cry-of-heaven/

Just because I have received supernatural power with my heavenly calling, I need to learn how to walk in that power, so that I use it only to destroy darkness and devils, not people and ministries I am called to build, deliver, and set free. The word Christ, is not Jesus last name, but actually means ‘the anointed one’, referring to the oil of anointing upon His life, similar to that used to set one apart unto God in the office of a prophet or a king. In the case of the kingdom of God, this anointing oil refers to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit upon our lives. We are Christians – anointed ones, endued with supernatural power from God, to perform signs, wonders and miracles. Supernatural acts and actions should be normal in our lives, although it may take time, study, and discipline to grow into the fullness of our office and calling by the anointing, to that eventual day of appointing, in the timing of the Father. How often I have run ahead of God, excited about His supernatural acts in my life, instead of allowing the deeper work of instruction, sanctification, and purification of my motives to be performed inside of me, so that I could actually be set apart in the fullness of my leadership capacity.

Matt 10

5 ¶ These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Notice here, that to have authority, one must be under authority.

Jesus is Lord, King, and commander in chief of our lives. We must be submitted, and committed to His leadership, and be seeking first the kingdom of God and His way of doing things, in every area of our lives. To do this, we must constantly study the Word of God, and be carefully listening to the voice, and promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Look at this verse:
5 ¶ These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Jesus told them WHERE not to go (to the Gentiles or Samaritans), and WHERE to go (to the lost sheep of the house of Israel).

Jesus has specific places for you to go also, and places and countries NOT to go. I know of people who have received open visions of countries they are called to go minister to, even as children, yet in many cases, they reach middle age, before God actually releases and sends them to the nation they have known about all their life.

I know of a woman, who at age seven, had a vision of serving as a missionary in India as a child, and yet she married a military officer who put her though literal hell on earth with his alcoholism and immorality. Yet, he provided well for their family, and they raised six children together. After their children were grown, at around age 60, her husband retired, and attended a Full Gospel Businessman’s meeting, and got right with Jesus, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Immediately, God dealt with him to go as a missionary to India, and by the time they were 65, off they went, mom and dad Hallas, to go preach. They have now, more than ten years later, won multitudes to Christ, and have an organization that oversees 200 churches and ministries, all across India. It is never too late to obey God!

One morning in prayer, as I was praying for many nations, Holy Spirit spoke to me:

‘The earth is my playground for obedient children!”

Hence the name of our ministry: AOM Ministries from: Ps 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

ask0
I have asked for nations, and He has given them, and when I go, either in word or in person, He has given me authority there, AS I OBEY.

He will give you spaces and places, where you are called, His grace has made a way for you. It remains, for you to ask Him for nations, and to hear accurately WHERE, you are to serve, WHEN.

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Next, we see that He told them WHAT to preach. You can never go wrong in preaching the gospel, the power of God.

Let me make it easy for you: Simply cut and paste this link:https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/11/10/the-gospel-the-power-of-god/

Yet, we are to teach the whole counsel of God, not merely salvation. Notice here He told them to preach ‘the kingdom of heaven is at hand’. This is deep, and rather than try and teach the fullness of it here I would refer you to the kingdom series of books by Dr. Myles Munroe. Let me imply say, that the ‘kingdom of God’, or the ‘kingdom of heaven’, is the ‘supreme rule and reign of Jesus’. Everything we need for life and godliness has already been provided for us in God’s Word, by his exceedingly great and precious promises. When His promises are publicly proclaimed, He produces power to perform that which He has decreed, and His kingdom destroys all opposition, and answers the deepest needs of every human heart.

broken hearted

The gospel then, or good news, is the ‘manifest love and rule of Jesus’, and where He rules, there is peace, for He is the Prince of peace! When the Word of God is embraced and set in place in our lives, our families, communities, states, and nations, there comes peace – Shalom, literally ‘nothing missing, nothing broken’. The answer to every problem in life, in every area, is Jesus. WHAT do we preach? WHATEVER part of the kingdom the greatest need of the people is.
Now, I have learned over the years that Jesus, is ‘the Word was made flesh,’ John 1:14
As we study, grow, practice what we have learned, the word becomes flesh in us.

If we understand that the kingdom of God is the supreme rule and reign of God in the earth, then we see something interesting. The kingdom first must come to us, inside of us, as we learn the higher ways of the Word of God, and then, as we live, teach and preach that which we have learned and applied to our own lives, the kingdom of God flows through us, to the people in need.

So how do we prepare?

labor press

I am convinced that the fastest way to do this, is to attend a Bible school somewhere, where a myriad of instructors, seasoned from multitude years of walking with the Lord, can teach, train, and equip you for your specific gift and calling to this generation. It was a privilege to attend full time for me, in a new city and country, so that I could become immersed in the Word of God for the two year course of study, but many cannot do that, and do it part time, days, nights, correspondence, or on-line. In any case, get it done! No one can qualify you, but you yourself.

It is worth any price on earth, to be fully equipped to bear eternal fruit, and reap eternal rewards with our lives.

Harvest1

Yes, we learn certain things through our local church, and through Christian schools, and many great teaching ministries. We apprentice through serving in various areas of our church, or on short term missions trips, and these are wonderful opportunities to help us raise the right questions in our hearts, as we see the screaming needs of humanity, then go to God in prayer, and He answers by opening His Word to our understanding…

prophecy testimony

So then, while academic learning is essential, there must be corresponding life application, or we become mentally competent, yet practically inept. Certain things in the kingdom must be done, not merely learned. To say, that you can lay hands on the sick, and they will recover is great, but unless the disciple starts actually laying hands upon, and praying for the sick, the instruction is only mental. There are things the Lord teaches us over the years in a divine healing ministry, that did not come in a day, or in my case, even many years. I am still praying for the sick, still seeing them healed, and often, having to go back to the Lord, asking Him WHY!!! Certain people did not get healed…yet Jesus healed them all! As we become more like Him, we too, will see more and greater healings and miracles! It is a journey of lifetime growth.

Heal

When you preach, you will demonstrate, and this demonstration is a drug, for which I am ever addicted. As the sick are healed, demons destroyed, miracles wrought, and mighty signs, wonders and miracles accompany the preaching of His Word, I am ever humbled at the majesty, love, mercy, graciousness, and power of God. It never gets old, every time I see a wheelchair emptied, a blind eye opened, and deaf ear opened, I stand amazed at His great love and goodness.

Job 9:10 Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

WHEN to go, WHERE you are supposed to go, speaking WHAT He gives you to speak, there will be demonstration of the kingdom in power, might, glory, and love that humble us, and ignite worship, praise, and passion, like nothing else will.

When the 70 were sent out: Lu 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Joy1

Yet, Jesus did not end his instruction there, He warned them of the pride of satan, 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/11/10/test-the-spirits-love-truth/
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Yet, He was happy they went!

v21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,

Let’s live to continually put a smile on Jesus face! You got to GO to do that!

Finally, let’s look at HOW we are supposed to go.

Godly vision can be spelled MONEY.

v 8.freely ye have received, freely give. (We may NEVER charge for the power and gifts of God in us!)
12 And when ye come into a house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Now in this case, Jesus told these disciples to go, bringing nothing but the Word and power of God, and that people would care for their every need, food, clothes, transportation, and they did not need a weapon. I know people that live just that way: He speaks, and they move, and He supernaturally moves on the hearts of people to open homes, stores, and businesses, to them, and around the world they go.

Yet, I believe it is a fair prayer, to ask the Lord when, and HOW He would have us go to places He has called us.

At the last supper in Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing.
36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

In the first commissioning, He sent them to Israel, where the people had hospitality laws for strangers, and where they were generally protected, needing no weapon. Now, He sends them to the nations, and He commissions them to get a weapon, and to have money.
HOW are you going to go? By faith surely, but faith is not blind.

Faith sees ahead, and can provide for upcoming expenditures, and plans for the future.

Yes, surely there are times He may simply say, GO! Yet, there are other times He will specifically direct you how to raise financial support for something He wants done, and He will speak to others to get involved with your vision, and directive.

Your provision, is in accurately hearing and writing your specific vision, so that those called alongside to support you, can run with you in it.

Hab 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

In case you are interested, here is mine, but you need to write yours! https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/05/05/aomministries-2015-master-plan/

This is the topic of an entire teaching, but let me say this. You were created for a purpose, on purpose. There is a reason and season for your life, and God, if you seek Him, will reveal to you, your specific vision.

It is progressive. In 2013, January, God clearly told me to birth AOM Ministries, and to close my companies, and to go full time.
Though I preached, taught, and prayed often 8 hours a day, it was not until April of last year, that I was able to have a 15 point yearly mandate that I have been aggressively working on since then.
Hearing accurately, then committing your current life’s mandate, to words, accurately, will take time. As you are doing this, recognize this principal: We often hear God accurately, but err in interpretation, or application, in our attempts to obey what He said.

Here is a perfect example of this:
In 2013 I felt the Lord tell me to pioneer 100 Bible schools, through the Victory IVBI program.
So, I interpreted that by trying to do that the way I had heard of other ministers experiencing success in doing this. I thought I should immediately travel to many countries, perhaps with evangelists hosting mass crusades, and then introduce the need for Bible schools at leadership meetings, and then carefully follow up with those leaders interested in hosting a school in their church and ministries.

Being a man of action, I began planning speaking engagements in several foreign countries, and sent out a support letter making the need know, believing that God would speak to people to pay my expenses to go to these countries.

Money did not come. So I stayed faithful with my daily disciplines of reading my daily Bible reading, completing my faith confessions, journaling, and spending hours each day praying in the Holy Spirit. I began to post the daily Bible reading on my Facebook page, to both encourage others to read through their Bible each year, and to keep myself accountable to this discipline. I then began to write up a daily devo, for people to read, and the rest is history.

This little devotional now goes out to thousands of people each day, and is growing in popularity daily, as people read, share, cut and paste, and email it around the world using Social Media and various internet.

This has resulted in contacts and Skype calls with many leaders, that I refer directly to Victory. My records show that as a result of these simple referrals, there have been 53 applications for schools in 8 countries! Only Heaven will be able to fully record the fulness of this!

I say this to make a point. Did I hear Holy Spirit accurately?

YES!

Yet, I erred in interpretation, and application. Truthfully, my two actual mission trips last year to Canada and Mexico, have not yet yielded even one school, while this Social Media outreach is growing, blossoming, and bursting at the seams!

Ac 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

increase

It is this Word of God that is needed in the earth, not me, my great intellect, personality, charisma, or zeal and passion.

Jesus is Lord, not me, and it is truly He that commissions and watches over His Word to perform it, not me.

Job 33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

When He performs His Word, He gets the glory, for He can handle it, for He is worthy!

fall on Jesus
When we perform His Word, we can become guilty, or at least in danger of pride. Satan himself, chief worship leader of heaven, fell from before the very throne of God, through pride.

How much more can we, sinful, broken humanity err….!

He will provide, if we remain humble. You have a call, a commission, a message, and a place and space, where you have been provided for, your great commission…

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, we say yes to Your call, Your preparation and instruction, You commission, Your wisdom, clarity and direction as we go, and You specific instructions as to how you have provided for me, my family, and the needs of those I am called to. Move in our lives today, and reveal, correct, direct, anoint freshly, and protect and provide for us, as we obey. Deliver and protect us from distractions, in Your name I pray Lord Jesus. Amen!’

Laborers! The Cry of Heaven!

Laborers! The Cry of Heaven!

Laborers – The Cry of Heaven!

It’s Harvest Time!

With over 7 billion people on planet earth, and only around 2.5 billion Christians, Jesus is aggressively pressing this generation into His harvest fields, already white, ripe, and ready to reap!

The gospel is the plan of God, He has no plan ‘B’. There are not many paths to God, as some suggest, but Jesus is the only way, the truth, and life, the only mediator between man and God, there is no other name given men under heaven, by which men MUST be saved.

One Way

Matt 9:35 ¶ And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Every time I step out and do something for God, I discover that there is always much more to be done. I find myself thinking: ‘Am I the only one who sees these people’s needs? Why are not more people helping?

Then I realize that it is because people do not know the Word of God yet, and so are blindly going through life from crisis to crisis, calamity to calamity, with often no thought about their eternal purpose, and God’s plan for them.

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/01/11/your-great-commission-embracing-your-destiny/

In Luke’s gospel, we see the prodigal, who comes to his senses, and who headed home to work as a slave if he could. Luke 15: 17 “when he came to himself,”

conquers himself

Such a simple phrase, yet so rich in implication. Around the world, prayer movements have been raised up, and the blinders are coming off people’s eyes, and that deep itch in their heart, that never quite gets scratched, no matter how fit we get, how great our relationships appear, how successful we become in academia or our career, how much money we make, there is still the deep question we must all face: Why am I here?

And then, “ What am I supposed to be doing with my life?”

Well, in short, you are created by design, to know, love, and worship God forever. Only He can meet the deepest needs of any human heart. You have a destiny, eternal worth and purpose, yet it is for you to fully discover and embrace the life you were born to live!

Secondly, you are to become part of the great commission, that is going into all the world, and making disciples of Jesus. These is no true joy, or eternal value, in anything else.

The question I have been asking myself: is my time best spent in prayer, that people come to themselves, and begin to seek first Jesus and His kingdom, or do I invest my time in teaching, and preaching the principals of the Word, training and equipping folks with life lessons, that are eternal?

Answer: Both!

I spend much time in my day, praying, and seeking the face of God for my life, then spending time praying for friends, families, governments, and ministries seeking to implement the kingdom of God in the earth.

At Victory Christian Center, where we attend church as a family for many years, (We are presently helping out in a church plant in North Tulsa: Zoe Life Church of Tulsa)  I see a tremendous vehicle raised up in terms of the international Bible schools. The two year course of study, has been translated into many languages. The curriculum gives pastors and Christian leaders an effective tool for training, developing, and equipping their own leaders, and releasing them into their callings in the earth. They can now be trained in their own country, language, and culture, without having to incur the huge expenses associated with having them come to the USA, to receive the exact same training!

If you have not yet attended a Bible school, and become grounded in the Word of God, you might consider it, as the next step on your eternal journey through life. Victory Bible College here in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the USA, offers many, many ways to complete your training through day, night, correspondence, and on-line courses.

“I’m too busy!”you say, or, “There is no way I have enough time”

So I will ask you this simple question: “If time and money were no object, would you be interested in attending Bible school?”

If you hear Holy Spirit whisper to your heart, His gentle “Yes!”, then please contact Victory Bible College, for more information, here: http://www.vbitulsa.com/

If you live outside the United States, please read my article on why you might consider pioneering a Bible school in your country. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/why-should-i-start-a-bible-school/

This is one of the main things I have devoted my life to, and I will gladly help you, where possible, to raise up a school in your community. Many pastors, who have never had the privilege of attending a formal Bible training program, attend courses, in their own church, and go through the material with members of their congregation, becoming the first graduates of the program!

Bible7

They stand amazed at not only what God has done through them, through His Word, but through their ministries, as key members of their ministries, become empowered through the same training, to become servant leaders, and strong spiritual supports to the work!

If you, your church, or community might be interested in starting your own Bible school, please read the following article: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2013/12/12/why-should-i-start-a-bible-school

Let’s pray
‘Father, please train and equip me in your Word! Show me the balance of life, in growing, flowing, and knowing your kingdom. May I not settle into complacency, but constantly press towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, committed to growth, without compromise! If you want me to attend a Bible school, please show me. If you want me to start one, please show me, in your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Joh 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Jesus, while He was on the earth, operated as a man, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. In the days of his earth walk, He could only be in one place at one time. Now, as Lord of Heaven and Earth, sitting on the throne at the right hand of the Father, He said it was better that He went away that the Holy Spirit might come into the earth, because He, Holy Spirit, is Emmanuel, God with us, and can be every where at once! That is why Jesus can say that He will never leave nor forsake us. Furthermore, Holy Spirit knows our unique calling and destiny, and He promises to show us things to come!
Let’s Pray:
Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus, asking that you send Holy Spirit to show me Your future for my life, and Your specific plan for me. Amen!”

Note: Don’t be surprised when you receive cool dreams, visions, or supernatural signs in answer to this prayer.

[Paul and Silas in Prison] Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.
