The Protection of God our Heavenly Father

The Father Heart of God – your Protector

Today we are going to look at another aspect of The Father Heart of God, God your protector.

Turn with me if you will to Galatians chapter 3, the 13th and 14th verses.

(Gal 3:13 NIV)  Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

(Gal 3:14 NIV)  He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

And again we read,

(Gal 3:29 NIV)  If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Notice here, the apostle Paul, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, speaking to Christians at the church of Galatia, tells them that:

They are redeemed from every curse.

The blessing of Abraham has come to them.

They are the seed of Abraham.

Read back a few verses with me if you will to

(Gal 3:7 NIV)  Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham.

Tonight, I am going to show you how God your Father is your protector. Yet, this like many other blessings in the Bible, can only be received by faith. How many want God to protect them?

Notice this verse, that those who believe are children of Abraham. See it? What I am about to discuss with you is a provision of God that you can have, if you, in child-like trust decide to believe it. There is so much more for every one of us as God’s children as described in these verses. Someday, do an in-depth study on the life of Abraham. Why? Because every blessing God promised to Abraham, God promises to you. If you want an interesting, life-changing Bible study, read Galatians 3, and then the life of Abraham as recorded in Genesis 12-26. Notice as you read, that each time God speaks to Abram, He makes certain promises to him. Galatians three tells us, that all the promises God made to Abraham are ours by divine decree. They belong to you by inheritance. Jesus died to give them to you, but you can only receive them by faith.

Now let me show you how God is your protector.

Turn with me to Genesis Chapter 15, and let’s read one of the promises God made to Abram.

(Gen 15:1 NIV)  After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”

If God was Abram’s shield and exceedingly great reward, and you are blessed with faithful Abraham, then God is your shield and exceedingly great reward.

God is your shield and exceedingly great reward!

Remember how we discussed that you must see yourself in the Word. Here’s another example of it.

Let’s look at a few places where God your shield is recorded in Scripture.

Why? Because all the promises of God, are yes and Amen in Jesus.

(Deu 33:29 NIV)  Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will trample down their high places.”

(2 Sam 22:1 NIV)  David sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

v2  He said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;

v3 my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior– from violent men you save me.

David had learned in battle, that God was with him, and that God Himself was his protector, an actual shield from his enemies.

Out of the heart, the mouth speaks, hear these words of David, and choose to understand and believe that the God of David, is your God too. He is with you, and He will protect you.

2 Sam 22:31   “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

2 Sam 22:36 You give me your shield of victory; you stoop down to make me great.

Ps 3:3   But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.

Ps 7:10  My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart.

Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Receive Jesus as your protector, your shield!
Ps 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

Ps 18:35 You give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.

Psa 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
Positionally, we are made blameless before God, only by the blood of Jesus.

Practically though, we must walk with Him day by day. If we do, He will withhold no good thing!

Ps 119:114 You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.

Ps 144:2 He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.

If you ever feel called to lead a ministry or work for God, this is an incredible promise to base you faith upon. You don’t need to rule God’s people with an iron fist, rather like Jesus, simply serve them willing to wash their feet if necessary. God will establish your leadership in the heart of the people you are called to serve, and subdue them under you.

Prov 2:7 He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,

Prov 30:5 “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

The Bible says, “Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, let every word be established. I’ve given you all of these verses, not so I can show you how wonderfully the computer can look up verses, but rather so that when you’re home alone, you’re lonely, you’re tired, and the devil tries to mess with your mind, making every little creak in the house sound like an axe-murderer sneaking in at you, you can walk over to your book shelf, pick up this book, and read these out loud for yourself and the devil to hear.

These verses, spoken out loud, become the sword of the Spirit for you. The God of Abraham and David is also your God. He’s the ever-living God who ever watches over His word to perform it in the earth. If you see Him as your protector, your shield, and your rock of defense. Guess what? That is exactly what He’ll do for you. No devil, no psycho human, no animal, nor any other thing can harm you, as you rest safe in His arms.

Remember, Bible accounts are not just bedtime stories; they actually happened. Imagine yourself in the place of David, running for his life, while king Saul is hunting you like an animal through the mountains. For years! He’d better be trusting God for protection! You can too. He loves you the same.

John 10:10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Think about it this way. Jesus has promised you abundant life. The devil wants you dead. What you believe about God and what is going to happen, affects what actually happens. The devil works through the minds of people. So he starts with your mind. He wants you afraid of what he can do, instead of trusting God. So, satan tells you that because you left your old friends, they are going to kill you. Someone is going to grab a pistol and blow you away. You are going to get knifed for leaving. He tells you, “No one leaves this neighbourhood alive.” Pistols, rifles, and knives are simply weapons. The Word of God promises exactly the opposite of what Satan says he is going to do to you.

Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Look at this verse, not only will God cancel weapons formed against you, but He will also deal with the gossip, slander, accusations, and the whispering insinuations Satan inspires others to speak against you.

“every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.”

One version of the Bible says that every tongue risen up against thee shall be shown to be in error. Don’t defend yourself, simply pray, trust God, and let God deal with your enemies and critics. You will come out victorious every time.

Testimony: There was a man that came to a church I attended that seduced and slept with six young girls from the youth group there. I found about it from one of the youth, and went to the pastor. The pastor did not believe me, because this man was such a soul winner, and seemed to be doing great works for the Lord. The real issue was fear. This man was a body builder who bench-pressed over 700lbs, and who loved to throw his weight around. I confronted him on what he had done in his front hall. He denied it, then threw me through the wall. I had him arrested and he served five years. Word on the street said this man had many friends that were intent on killing me. I believed God’s word during this time that no weapon formed against me would prosper, and not only  did God protect me, but I was able to go to the prison minister to the man, and see him restored to the Lord, and eventually married and serving God in a local church.

The first time I taught this material, we were contacted by the neighbor of a lady who ran a crack house. We had been praying God shut down the drug trade in our community, and the police had done a wonderful raid there, arresting seventy people. Seems this drug addicted lady had three children, that she had abandoned while high, for three days. The Children’s Aid Society (That’s the Canadian version of DHS) somehow heard about it, and took the children and placed them in a foster home. The lady somehow thought that we had called the police and CAS, so showed up high, with a pistol in hand, waving it around declaring that she was going to kill us that night, if we dared to show up over there to teach. We immediately called for prayer, and stood on the 91st Psalm, and went anyway. She never showed up.

There are many testimonies of how soldiers in operation desert storm, and the war in Iraq, believed God’s protection in a war-time situation  Kenneth Copeland Ministries has published many of these over the years in  their magazine ‘Believers Voice of Victory”, and there is a wonderful book issued to soldiers entitled: Psalm 91: God’s Umbrella of Protection by Peggy Joyce Ruth, and it’s sequel that tells stories of combat soldiers protected by God after praying the 91st Psalm. ‘Real-Life Stories of God’s Shield of Protection And What This Psalm Means for You & Those You Love’

Both can be found on Amazon should you wish to get the books.

Let’s look at the 91st Psalm

v1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Our prayer: Father, I am committing my life into your hands today, trusting you for protection. Seeking your shelter from the storms of life, hiding within your shadow.

v2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

There is incredible power released from heaven, when God’s Word is spoke out of the mouth of one of His children. Reading these verses is not enough. Words are the primary action of faith. You must say these verses, out loud:
God you are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.

v3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

Surely God you save me from all of Satan’s traps, and the plots of men. You protect me from every sickness and disease.

v4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

You cover me with your feathers, under your wings do I find refuge, your faithfulness is my shield and rampart. I receive your comfort today, and every day for the rest of my life.

v5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

I thank-you Father that I don’t have to be afraid anymore at night, that I will not have nightmares. That arrows and attacks will not touch me by day.

v6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

I see sickness for what it is, an enemy. No sickness will touch me and no plague.

v7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

Even though stuff happens and others go down, it will not come near me.

v8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

Though I see others receive punishment, I will not receive it. I have been forgiven, and you protect me.

v:9 If you make the Most High your dwelling– even the LORD, who is my refuge–

I’ve declared before heaven, hell and people that I belong to God, and that He is my home and refuge.

v10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
No harm shall come near me, and no disaster (tornado, hurricane, fire, or war, shall come near where I live)

v11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

For God has commanded His guardian angels concerning me, to protect me everywhere I go.

v12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

His angels protect me!

v13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

I have authority over Satan and all of his works, they are under my feet! I trample him and all of his works.

v14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

God, I do love you, and I believe that you are rescuing me, protecting me, for I acknowledge your name, and the name above every name, Jesus.

v15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

Again, I call upon you, trusting you to answer me. I thank-you Jesus that you never leave me nor forsake with no matter what. You are with me, and you deliver me and honor me.

v16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

I am not going to die young, but am going to live a long time, for it is written, that with long life you will satisfy me, and show me your salvation.

You can pray this prayer every day if you like. I do.

Now let’s look at another Scripture that promises protection for us. Its found in the book of Proverbs, Chapter eighteen, verse ten

Pr18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and they are safe.

2 Cor 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

God gave you righteousness when you gave your life to Jesus. From His viewpoint, legally, He has accepted the blood of Jesus sacrifice on your behalf. You have been given righteousness, or right standing with God, simply because you trust in what Jesus did on the cross for you. You have been forgiven and adopted into the family of God, and hold royal privilege in prayer because of this.

The name of the Lord is Jesus. When you call on the name of the Lord, and trust in Him for protection, God promises that you will be safe.

Look at these verses I pray for you every day.

(Phil 1:9 NIV)  And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,

(Phil 1:10 NIV)  so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ,

(Phil 1:11 NIV)  filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ–to the glory and praise of God.

filled with the fruit of righteousness – If you get filled with the fruit of righteousness, you are going to be pretty bold. Why? Because you will realize the way God sees you is not the way the devil has treated you all of your life. Satan has tried to keep you down, thinking like a slave, so he could continue to rule over you. Yet, you are a child of the king, by royal decree, adopted into the family of Almighty God. Your adoption papers have been signed in the blood of Jesus, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. Whether you realize it or not, you are being groomed for royal rank and position. Training for reigning in the royal service of the King of all kings. Jesus.

Homework:

  1. Got enemies? You need to pray this prayer every day, and trust God to remove them for you.
  2. Having trouble sleeping?

Psalms 4:8  I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Psalms 127:2  It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep

You do not need to be afraid, sleep is a gift from God to you. Receive it!

Faith – Greater than Gunmen!

I have been asked to repeat the story about the gunman that tried to rob my wife at Walmart over at Admiral and Memorial. For the record, here’s what happened.
karen

Several years ago, we had a burden to pray for our community, because there was a lot of gang activity and obvious drug trade. We decided to fast three days, just water, and seek the Lord. The way we fast is that after we have completed our fast, we take communion, proclaiming Is 58:6-12, and reminding the Lord of our commitment to His blood covenant.

Well, we were scheduled to eat on a Saturday morning and had been up late praying in the Holy Spirit, and singing praises. The Lord showed us two demonic strongholds operating in our community, a spirit of violence, and a drug devil. We commanded them to leave and knew we had obtained the victory in prayer.

I did what I used to always do before I’d been recruited for men’s Saturday morning, prayer, that is going to sleep, planning on sleeping in. Mornings are a necessary evil in life, I am usually most productive between the hours of 7PM and 1AM.

Karen did what she usually does, that is get up at some inhuman hour, like 4 or five AM, and clean house. Different body clocks for sure.

Well, I was sleeping, and she realized that we had no grape juice or Matza bread (unleavened bread), to take proper communion with, so off she goes to Walmart, at around 4:30am Saturday morning.

Here’s where it get’s interesting, she came out of Walmart, and she had parked the van second one in from the entrance. We had lost the little automatic unlock thingy that goes on the key ring, so she unlocked the passenger side door with the key, and threw the bag of groceries on the passenger seat. She said that she heard Holy Spirit speak to her, “Lock the door!”, so reflexively, she hit the lock button on the door, that electronically locked all the doors in the vehicle.
lock-the-door

She walked around the back of the vehicle, to come in between the two vans to discover a man crouched down between the vehicles. He immediately stood up, to his full height of about 6’4″ (she said he was taller than me), and said “Give me your money or I will shoot you!”, She said, “God is my shield.” She asked quietly to herself, “Lord, what do I do?”

He was a black man wearing a blue hoody, and he had a pistol inside of the front pouch, pointed at her. Before she could think, she said, “Do you know about the blood of Jesus?” The man said, “Give me your money, or I will shoot you!” She said, ”I know about the blood of Jesus and I bind you, satan!” When he tried to raise his pistol to fire, he couldn’t lift his hand. He kept jerking it.

The Lord spoke to her very clearly. He said, “slap him.”

Then he started staring at his hand. She said, “God, give me strength.” She reached up and slapped him across the face, with all her might! God must have been in it, (she’s only 5’2”, and was not in shape back then) because the man fell to the ground on his knees at her feet.

She ran into Walmart, and asked, as she ran in the door, “Can somebody walk me to my car?” It must have been a pretty intense question because everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at her in a frozen silence. A security guard walked up and asked what happened. “A man pulled a gun on me out there!” He immediately called the police. Two ladies brought a chair and tried to comfort. The Holy Spirit spoke in an authoritative voice, “The evil man bows before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.”
prov-14-19

Is that a Scripture, she wondered? She called a friend who looked it up and said it is Proverbs 14:19.

Well, me, mighty protector and hero to my family, slept through the whole thing!

In fact, I was so tired, it took me a while to wake up and for her excited talking to even register on me.

Thought that would be the end of it, but God has a wonderful sense of humor. Guess she used my cell number on the police report, cause a couple of weeks later, I was bidding a job (been working as a carpenter) when the phone rang with a caller asking to speak to Mrs. Karen Walsh. I said, “That’s my wife, may I help you?”, Yes, the caller declared, “This is detective St. Clair, from the Tulsa police department, responding to the incident that occurred at the Walmart.” I said, “Oh yeah, that guy that tried to rob my wife.”, the detective went on to explain that the Walmart store camera’s had picked up the whole event, and they had managed to get a positive ID on the guy and had issued a warrant for his arrest. I said, “Praise the Lord!”, the detective went on to say, that three other detectives were with him, and had replayed the video three times, laughing hysterically at the little woman who slapped the gunman to the ground!. LOL! God is good, and Psalm 91, proclaimed and believed, will stop gunmen, for it is written:
laughing-policeman

Is 54:17 No weapon (gun, knife, fist) that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.

Post Script: Over the next month, God cleaned up our community. The two gangster crack houses on our street were closed, and the people moved out, and families moved in. The two wanna be tough guys, that would drive down my street at 70mph in their ‘boomchuckaboom’ car, had strained my last nerve. When I signaled them to slow down the last time, and they gave me the finger, I told the Lord, Either you deal with those boys immediately, or I’m going to. Well, that was a Wednesday, and we attended mid-week service and came home to sirens blaring and a couple of police cars several doors down. I looked over to see what was going on, and there were my ‘boomchuckaboom’ wanna be’s in handcuffs getting stuffed into the back of a police car. Throughout all of this drama, we never called the police on anyone, nor did I have to shoot or otherwise threaten anyone, nor was our house or property ever vandalized or burglarized, we have been safe in His everlasting arms.

The Rod of the Wicked…

Relax, we are still safe in the protection of God!

Ps 125:3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

The word ‘rod’ used here means a rod, or a club. How we see the violence of wicked men around the world.

Where I used to live, rarely did a day go by without some sort of shooting or killing. On my street, a mother was simply in her front yard, when some drug crazed nut, rode by on his bicycle, and pulled out a pistol and shot her in the right kneecap. She claims she has never even seen the guy before! Nuts!

Crazy, wicked people, full of violence, dangerous. Why?

Well there are two reason’s really, 2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Fierce people, violent, despisers of that which is good are a sign of the age in which we live. People without God in the earth. They are angry in their hearts, because their hearts convict them of their wickedness and self will, their godlessness.

Pr 19:3 ¶ The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.

The word used ‘fretteth’ here means ‘to rage’. People doing their own thing, are mad at God, and if you come along, actually serving Jesus and committed to living an obedient, disciplined life, they are going to be mad at you too.

Persecution is not the manifestation of another persons hate for you. It’s a manifestation of Satan’s fear of you.
(Kenneth Copeland)

Relax, read the rest of the verse:

Ps 125:3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

I picture this verse this way: Though angry, violent people, armed with a club, a gun, a knife, want to do violence to me as a servant of the Lord, they cannot, for God Almighty protects me!

Let’s pray:
‘Father, I come before you now, thanking you for your protection, even when I sleep. Ps 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. I believe that as I go about my life, seeking to please you, your angels encamp round about me and my family, church, and possessions, and delivers us, for I ask in your precious name Lord Jesus, Amen!’

What Are You Saying of the Lord Today?

What are you saying of the Lord today?

Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
Ps 91: 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Mt 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified,

If you are saying of the Lord, that His name is your high tower, He is your refuge and fortress, you will find protection and safety today, in the power and strength of His name….

Let’s Pray:
“Father, I say of You, that You are my strong tower, my refuge, my fortress, that Jesus, as I call upon Your name today, heaven opens again upon my life, and Your glory, protection, angels, and blessing manifest again, one day at a time…’

His Glory is a Defense!

The glory shall be a defence!

Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
Is 4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

As I read these words, and think of the very real spiritual warfare we face when we exercise Jesus authority over demons, and wickedness in the earth, I am reminded of the armor of God given to us in Ephesians chapter 6. There is much teaching on this armor, but notice that it is all this armor is for moving forward, attacking and taking ground for the kingdom.

Truly Jesus is building His church, and the gates of hell are not prevailing against us, and we are vessels of His glory!
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.

Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

In Jesus, His glory is revealed, reconciling the irreconcilable, redeeming the nonredeemable, forgiving the unforgivable, healing the incurable, delivering those without hope or God in this world!

In battle, strategists plan for attacks from the rear, yet when we pray, fast, and fully obey Holy Spirit, we find this precious promise tucked into fasting chapter of Is 58:

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning,
and thine health shall spring forth speedily:
and thy righteousness shall go before thee;
the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.

This word rereward, is Strongs number: 622, the Hebrew word:

asaph: to gather, remove

Original Word: אָסַף

Strongs lists four definitions here, but I believe that the applicable ones used here, are definitions 3 and 4, which are 3:bring up the rear of Isaiah 58:8 יַאַסְפֶ֑ךָ ׳כְּבוֺד י i.e. be thy rear-guard

4:gather and take away, remove, withdraw

The picture I see in these words is of the Lord, with the host of heaven, angels that encamp around us that fear Him, literally protecting our rear, and gathering together demonic forces, and wicked people that serve them, and TAKING THEM AWAY FROM OUR LIVES!
warrior bible

As His church, His bride, His family, His covenant people, we are covered by His glory, and His glory shall be our defense!

These are the last days, and dangerous times. It is time to pray dangerous prayers, for the God of glory to perform ‘suddenlies’: Breakthroughs into our daily human existence, acts of power demonstrating His glory. I cry out for boldness and courage, that Holy Spirit again manifest in our lives like in Acts 4, where the places we meet are literally shaken by His power, and demonstration. We serve a very living God…

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I believe I receive the glory Jesus gave us, today! I believe that very glory is doing for me, and my house, what I could never even conceive in and of myself! I ask you for You to breakthrough into my life, shaking what must be shaken, that I become everything You have created me to be, and see again, the mighty, notable, miracles you have recorded in Your Word, NOW, Today! In this, my generation. Thank You Lord Jesus! Amen’

A Hiding Place in Jesus…

A Hiding Place in God!

Ps 32: 6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 ¶ Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

In Jesus, you discover that in His name, there is safety and protection:

Pr 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

1Ki 18:24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

Ps 124:8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Isa 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. (Holy Spirit language, speaking in other tongues) http://chrisaomministries.com/2016/03/05/is-tongues-initial-evidence-of-the-holy-spirit-baptism/

When brutal things are occurring in the earth, and in your world, there are times, you need to hear His voice, be at peace.

Let’s pray:
‘Father, I come into your name, and the name of my Lord Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiah, and call upon your peace, protection, Shalom, nothing missing, nothing broken. I trust you to lead and guide me by your eye, through precious Holy Spirit, alive and active in my life, and in the earth. In your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

Hidden by God from the Hard Words of People

Hidden in God from the hard words of people

Ps 31: 19 ¶ Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

You know, I have discovered over the years, that being sold out for Jesus, keeps us out of a world of pain. As we spend time with Him in prayer, in reading His Word, and in doing wonderful things for His kingdom, since we can’t be two places at once, we automatically avoid a lot of hard places in life. People who are doing wrong things, in wrong places, cannot harm us, if we are not with them.

Kind of simple, but this verse in today’s reading, goes much deeper than that. Seems people have a great ideas about what they think we ought to be doing: problem is these ideas are their ideas, not necessarily God’s.

When we get into the word of God, and over in the Holy Spirit, we enter into the higher ways of life, the ways of the Spirit of God, kingdom authority and leadership.

These ways are usually contrary to the minds of man, in fact, they are foolishness to them:

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Yet, as we authentically walk with Jesus, we find: 1Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

In this world, we have challenges, tests, troubles, Jesus promised it would be so.

1 Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Jesus is still the way, and the waymaker. There is always a way of escape.

Let’s pray:
“Father, I thank you for your Word, and for surrounding me with favor as with a shield, with songs of your deliverance. I thank you that you have given your angels charge over me to keep me in all of my ways. I thank you that your angels encamp about me and deliver me. I thank you Jesus that you are my way, and my waymaker, making a way for me, where there seems to be no way. I thank you for performing this very word for me, for delivering me from the pride of man and the strife of tongues! You are so good to me Father, I thank you for your love, power, and grace towards me, all because of you Lord Jesus. I love you God, thank you for hearing and answering! Amen’

Protected! By Faith…

Protected, by Faith!
Gen 15: . 1 ¶ After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
Love this verse! Abraham had just come out of battle, and had renewed his covenant with God through the bread and wine with Melchizedek, and God appears to him with this promise. Gotta love the promises God made to Abraham, because they belong to you, through the shed blood of Jesus:
Gal 3:7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
Notice here that God’s message to Abraham is the same as Jesus to Jairus:
Luke 8:49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
Stop the fear! Be courageous, choose to believe!
Many years ago, I discovered that an ex-convict in our church, had committed staturtory rape with a consenting minor. I was told that if I called the polilce, this man would kill me. I called the police, and a SWAT team showed up, and arrested him, and he ended up serving five years in prison for his crime. I was told, all through the trial, that ‘one phone call and this guy will have you killed!’
Many times I awoke in the night, in a cold sweat, scared.
Yet, fear is the real enemy, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, and it is written:
Ps 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
I would awake, afraid over creaks in the night, then learned to choose to believe that God was far more able to protect me, that the enemy through this man to kill me.
Obviously, the Word of God has had a good report, for I am still here to tell the story, in fact, I actually visited that man in prison several times, and led him in rededication back to God. Now, over 15 years later that man is married and serving in a local church, and the girl involved visited my church with her husband, and had me dedicate her baby to the Lord! Love never fails!
The early American Indians had a unique practice of training young braves. On the night of a boy’s thirteenth birthday, after learning hunting, scouting, and fishing skills, he was put to one final test. He was placed in a dense forest to spend the entire night alone. Until then, he had never been away from the security of the family and the tribe. But on this night, he was blindfolded and taken several miles away. When he took off the blindfold, he was in the middle of a thick woods and he was terrified! Every time a twig snapped, he visualized a wild animal ready to pounce. After what seemed like an eternity, dawn broke and the first rays of sunlight entered the interior of the forest. Looking around, the boy saw flowers, trees, and the outline of the path. Then, to his utter astonishment, he beheld the figure of a man standing just a few feet away, armed with a bow and arrow. It was his father. He had been there all night long.

Did Jesus Give the 2nd Amendment?

Should a Christian own a gun for self defense?

arms children

Answer: What does the Word of God say?

Luke 22: 35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

Lu 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

arms Jesus

Here we see Jesus at the last supper, (I encourage you to read Luke chapter 22) giving some final instructions to His disciples in his last teaching before He left the earth..I picture what that might have looked like.  You know that a cloak to keep warm was pretty important during that season, because when Peter betrayed Jesus, people were huddled around a fire for warmth,  Lk 22:55 The guards lit a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat around it, and Peter joined them there.  yet Jesus said that procuring a sword was more important than even wearing a winter coat!

He sees the future, and sees that disciples are about to be sent into all the world, to preach the gospel. They had been sent originally to the Jews, who had hospitality laws, and had been provided for, in safety, wherever they went, but now, the great commission was to be given, and people without the Word of God as a basic premise of life, are dangerous. As He prepared to send them, he said you were going to need a weapon for self defense, in fact, He expected that everyone should know this and should own a sword. Yet his command is more urgent than mere passive fancy. If you do not have a weapon to defend yourself, get one, even if you need to sell your coat to buy it. Well, one of the disciples took this literally, and went out and procured a couple of swords.

Let’s continue reading in Luke 22:verse38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

These swords were not needed yet, for Jesus knew He was to be crucified, and it was not time to fight, yet.

Peter, as usual, was the impetuous one. He had a sword, and a weapon in ones hand, just like a young man with a gun, makes a man feel powerful. Peter had some radical life changes in his years walking with Jesus, and with a sword in hand, he was ready to go to war on behalf of his king. Remember, the Jews were expecting a conquering king like David to lead them into battle to overthrow the Romans.

Yet, Jesus kingdom is a kingdom not of this world, a kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Jesus needed no mere human disciple to defend Him: He is Lord of Heaven and Earth, He could have simply called 12 legions of angels to defend him, but He was determined to die on our behalf, willingly, for the sin of all humanity. There was no other way.

John 10:17-18
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Lets continue reading the account here in Luke 22:47 ¶ And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

So, we see here the two swords brought into the last supper meeting. Peter had one, and in passion and zeal, when Jesus was betrayed, and the soldiers came to arrest him, he acted impetuously, and cut off Malacus ear. Jesus, loving and understanding Peter, and the servant, healed the guys ear. In the natural order of things, He destroyed evidence, because Peter would have been charged with the equivalent of assaulting an officer, and been imprisoned or executed. Kind of hard to charge a guy, when there is no evidence. Can you see this case before a judge “This guy attacked me with a sword, and cut off my ear, your honour!” Well, where is the wound, says the judge. Well, this guy named Jesus, healed me, and miraculously recreated my ear back on my head. Yeah, riiiiiight! We don’t do this miracle thing you speak of, case dismissed.

Yet, there was another sword there that day, and Jesus is Lord, with obedient disciples, ultimate commander in chief of all the armies of the earth, Lord of heaven and earth.

arms Jesus is Lord

Who held the other sword? I’m not sure, but I think it had to be John, the apostle of love, because look at the interaction in the heat of battle:

Lu 22:49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

This should be the heart of every soldier and police officer on the planet. Shall I smite with the sword?

Lord, should I shoot? A man under firstly divine authority, and secondly natural authority. A man under command, under orders. This brother recognized Jesus as more than Saviour, but as commander in chief of all the armies that have ever marched.

You need to understand the mindset of this brother when he asked Jesus the question, ‘Shall we smite with the sword.’. His mind was instructed with the Torah, the mighty exploits of David who slew Goliath, and then there were David’s mighty men, men of courage, valor, warriors.

Here is a sample of a couple of them:

1 Sam 23:

These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: Josheb-basshebeth, a Tahchemonite, chief of the Three [heroes], known also as Adino the Eznite; he wielded his spear and went against 800 men, who were slain at one time.

Next to him among the three mighty men was Eleazar son of Dodo, son of Ahohi. He was with David when they defied the Philistines assembled there for battle, and the men of Israel had departed.

10 [Eleazar] arose and struck down the Philistines until his hand was weary and clung to the sword. The Lord wrought a great deliverance and victory that day; the men returned after him only to take the spoil.

11 Next to [Eleazar] was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines were gathered at Lehi on a piece of ground full of lentils; and the [Israelites] fled from the Philistines.

12 But he stood in the midst of the ground and defended it and slew the Philistines; and the Lord wrought a great victory.

This brother, with one sword, now stood before an armed trained military unit, and he as the Lord for orders to open fire. He was convinced that if that order was given, he would not only attack, but wipe them all out: single-handedly if necessary!

Makes Rambo, and all those hero movies kind of pale in comparison, because this isn’t Hollywood, this is a true story.

If you are a soldier or police officer, or any type of law enforcement, you need to recognize that there is a greater authority, than even the government you serve. Jesus Christ is Lord, and He will speak to you what to do, even in battle:

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Even with bullets flying, and men screaming and dying around you, He will speak to you, personally, in your heart, what to do, when and where to fire, who to kill, who to let live

.arms sheepSoldiers in combat, led of the Holy Spirit will be divinely empowered to stop evil attacks both from within or without.

Blessed be the Lord my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
The Lord is a warrior, make no mistake about it.
Yet, in this new covenant: He would have us win our battles like He did, in prayer, in faith, with His Word:

Remember the account of Elisha hearing the directions of God, to thwart every evil attack against Israel. The Spirit of God, literally revealed the battle strategies of the enemy army, to the king. So detailed was this knowledge, that the king was convinced there had to be a spy in their midst.

2Ki 6:12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

Consider the following testimony from one of our US soldiers, serving in Afganistan, who had a mother who is a pastor, and who prayed for him daily, for protection and guidance. The man was trained as a sniper, and the story goes that they were on a routine patrol, when they came to a Taliban check point. There was a father and 12 year old son there, dressed in traditional garb, with flowing robes. The soldier claims that he heard a voice supernaturally speak to his heart, “Shoot the boy!” He immediately drew his weapon, and shot and killed the boy. When the father reached inside his tunic, he again fired, and shot and killed the father. There was immediate chaos, shouting, screaming, he was thrown to the ground and disarmed by his buddies, and there was an armed stand-off while his commanding officer order a cease-fire and investigated the bodies. Both of them were strapped as suicide bombers, waiting to enter the center of the platoon before detonating themselves. Clearly, many lives were spared that day, through the prayers of a woman of God, and the radical obedience of her highly trained son.

This kind of hearing and obedience, can prevent a soldier from responding to erroneous orders from even his own commanding officer, should his leader miss it. Each of us have to live with our own conscience before God, and killing a man is not a light thing to have to live with. I have had to minister to veterans that were given orders to open fire upon innocent civilians, the nightmares of children ripped apart by a 50 calibre still haunt them. Yet, Jesus heals PSTD – https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/12/11/post-traumatic-stress-disorder-jesus-heals/

Much needs to be said here, about the heart of self defense, but Proverbs 16: 32 Better a patient person than a warrior,

one with self-control than one who takes a city.

God’s kingdom is within us, and the fruit of the Spirit within us are the strength and honor of this country. Self-control, meekness (strength under pressure), longsuffering, gentleness, patience. This is the heart of honor, the heart of the gospel, and the heart of America, that Jesus is developing in each of us. This is the love of God, and freedom worth defending.

This is the spirit of the 2nd Amendment, in right to bear arms. Should free citizens be allowed to own firearms to protect themselves, their families, and this country from enemies within or without. Emphatically, YES!

The question is, what is our intimacy with God like? Are we governed by the Word and Spirit of God, seeking to love our fellow man, as our primary motive?

What makes weapons dangerous, are the people that wield them. A trained, honorable police man or soldier, upholding that which is decent, honorable, and lawful, is entitled and responsible to carry a gun, responsibly. In fact, the Bible says that soldiers and police officers serving Jesus, are ministers of God, set in place by God to execute God’s justice upon the evil doer.

Romans 13:1-8 Authorized (King James)

13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. (government) For there is no power (authority) but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: for he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

Notice here, that police officers are sent of God to do good for those of us doing right, yet for criminals, the police or military becomes the avenger to execute wrath on him that does evil.

It is when fatherless men, walking in pride, arrogance, and often a drug and alcohol induced lifestyle, own guns that we have problems.

Children should be taught to pray for God’s protection and given training in gun safety at a young age, that the best fight is the one that never starts. Any honest parent wants peace…

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

One last thought from Romans 13, where the Word of God speaks about the role of police officers and soldiers acting as the agents of God, to keep order and peace in a country.

Rom 13:1 ¶ Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Basically, this verse states that we need to obey the laws of the land, and submit to the authority of righteous government, (and pray for them daily 1 Tim 2:1-4). Yet, see how this works: Policemen and soldiers are actually called of God as his ministers to prevent the spread of evil in the earth. (and our taxes should legitimately support them)

As a husband and father, I am responsible to act like Jesus, and to love, serve, and lead my family into the call and plan of God for our particular household. Yet, I am also called to defend my wife and children, if necessary. Primarily, this is done solely through the Word of God. I believe the 91st Psalm, and that no weapon (knife, gun, or bomb) fashioned against me shall prosper. This is our primary defense, and best defense for we are in a spiritual battle, where we wrestle not against flesh and blood.

We know that Satan is a mind blinding spirit, that works through the thoughts and deeds of people who are not walking with Jesus. The nature of Satan, is to kill, steal and destroy whoever, and whatever he can. He puts thoughts of ‘Go rob that house, that person, etc”, but for a tithing believer, walking in faith, God becomes our rock of defense, impenetrable.

When we deal with the spirit behind the wicked man, the man is no problem.

If more Christians, actually did what Jesus said to do in Matt 6:33, and sought first the kingdom of God daily, and served Jesus every day, there would be far less violence in the world, and our primary warfare would be spiritual, and our focus would be on preaching the gospel to all the nations, not ruling over them with a gun.

1 Tim 2: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

I actually believe these verses, and I pray for our President (even when I do not agree with him), our government, military, police officers, and judicial system, daily. Why?

1. The man that wrote this, Paul, heard God,  loved us, and had our best interests at heart.

2. He said to do this first.

3. When we pray for the government, I believe God will honor this very word in our lives, and supernaturally grant us the reward of our obedience, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Yet, I had an experience some time ago, where we found our front door wide open in the wee hours of the morning. Guess we woke up, and the perpetrator ran off in the night. I now have a gun in the closet, that I honestly pray I will never have to use.

Shooting and killing someone is a rather permanent, and if you believe the Word of God, an eternal solution to a temporary problem, yet there are lines that cannot be crossed.

Someone breaking into a families house, has crossed that line, and just met the government of God, the right to bear arms in defense of our homes and families.

If called upon, I would shoot and kill an intruder, for I will protect my home, wife and children.

This is the heart of taking up the sword. We do not go out to conquer with it, but when enemies arise to destroy our homes and families, we will defend our freedom, come what may, here in the land of the free, home of the brave, where there is freedom, liberty, and justice for al

As Christians, we look for, pray for, and long for peace, for Jesus is the Prince of Peace. First in our hearts, then in our homes, communities and nation.

Our nature is love, and we long to forgive and turn the other cheek, but we meekness is not weakness. When evil people march, and begin slaughtering innocent civilians, women and children, then we are forced to rise up and defend our families and communities, our country.

This is our heart, to trust God for true vengeance, but when evil empires march, they quickly discover that God goes to war:arms subcontract

Each day I pray:

Psalm 91 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

Psalm 91

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler,
and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night;
nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;
nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side,
and ten thousand at thy right hand;
but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold
and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge,
even the most High, thy habitation;
10 there shall no evil befall thee,
neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands,
lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder:
the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him:
I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him,
and shew him my salvation.

In whatever station of life we find ourselves, we must be trusting in Jesus personally, intimately for our protection. Yet, sometimes, Jesus calls free men to pick up the sword.

Let’s Pray:

‘Father God, I come to you now, seeking you for wisdom, peace, and protection. I choose to believe that You have indeed given your angels charge over me, and in Jesus I receive peace. Father, I desire to forgive and love all people, yet embrace my God given responsibility to protect my family and this nation from those who would do evil. By faith, I declare and decree Your Kingdom, in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost over this country, trusting You to bring true freedom, liberty and justice for all. I ask this, knowing I am heard and answered, for I ask in Your name Lord Jesus, Amen’

Give in faith!

1 Corinthians 9:11 If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits?

1 Corinthians 9:14 [On the same principle] the Lord directed that those who publish the good news (the Gospel) should live (get their maintenance) by the Gospel.

Paul goes on to say, that he did not use his position as a minister of the gospel to take up offerings, rather he worked, making tents, to support himself. You might notice here, that Paul was not married, nor did he have children. Family responsibilities take time, and just as you bust a move on your job to provide for your family, I work every bit as hard, doing this, faithful to the Lord in prayer and the ministry of His Word, to you.

I will never charge for this: it my responsibility to God, my calling. Freely I have been given, now, I freely give…

As you give, hear Holy Spirit what to give, and honestly expect God to reward you for your giving.

Matt 10: 41 He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.

I am a five-fold ministry gift and office – this is my life – I pray, I hear, I write, and wonderful things happen. You have your job description, I have mine – this is mine….

I have ‘see through’ faith for you, in this: Gal 3: 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

I believe I have a responsibility before God to be like Jesus, in every offering I receive. I receive it with thanksgiving, just like Jesus did the little boys lunch.

Then, because I walk and live by faith according to the blessing of Abraham, I believe that God will take your seed sown, and multiply it, according to what the blessing of Abraham promises:

Genesis 22:17 In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies

It has been a joy to me, to see the hand of the living God act in the lives of those of you who have supported us this year!

Many have seen tremendous blessing come into your households, and for this we give thanks, and give Jesus all the glory!
