The Ministry of Presence – Be There…

The ministry of presence
presence
Job 2:13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

There is much to be said about Job, and how Satan brought destruction and disease to his life. How his fear opened the door, how in his affliction, he stood, as in the day of his prosperity, alone, and without compare in the earth.

Notice here Jobs comforters. Much has been said, about how wrong they were in their evaluation of the reasons for Job’s distress, but in this passage, they did right. They saw the destruction that had occurred in Job’s life, and they did what very few seemed to have learned these days: they did not speak! They simply sat with him, their presence attempting to bring some solace to a grief torn soul.
Some years ago, I was called to minister to a woman, who’s mother had died, and who had been very traumatized by a series of horrible events in her life. There was so much I wanted to say, as my wife and I would visit her, but Holy Spirit would put a zip on my lip, and I would simply, quietly sit with her.

Even that appeared too much for her, so I would lift her up in fervent prayer, crying out for God to do what no man could do, heal her, give her hope and an future. One day when I was praying, I saw a picture of her, and it seemed that all of her skin had been burnt away. I was reminded of a medical procedure I had heard of for victims of third degree burns, where the victim was immersed in some sort of fluid, while the skin grew back. That any touch to the person before that, caused them excruciating pain.

In the picture the Lord showed me that as I prayed, this woman was being immersed in the Holy Spirit, and His comfort was the healing she needed.
I did not see her for a couple of years, but when I did, I was amazed! She had married, and was the very joyful mother of two beautiful children! Truly God had turned her mourning into joy!

Sometimes, all we can do after tragedy, is simply be there, then quietly pray for the afflicted, from a distance. God’s love and healing, go deeper than anyone’s deepest pain. Jesus is Lord!

I read an article about Job’s wife that was thought provoking, extolling the virtues of Job’s wife.

The Scripture is unclear what happened to Job’s wife at the end of the story, but this author quoted believes she lived through Job’s trial (personally, I am not so sure). Here’s what they said:

“While we weep with Job, we miss the faithful, steady presence of his wife. She put aside her own grief to stay care for her husband. Imagine the exhausting drain, caring for a suffering soul like Job. Imagine the loud howls of agony, hour after hour, day after day. Imagine the one you love walking the thin line of sanity, suffering excruciating, debilitating pain.

Job’s wife continued this mission of mercy without the resources of a helpful support network, without any financial resources, without relief. Their children were gone, their friends and family scattered, her God seemingly absent.”

In any case, there is a love and comfort from Holy Spirit available in our deepest trial, a peace that passes all understanding, a love that endures, faithfully to the end, stronger than death…

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I come to you now, asking that you use my life, in loving your people. In situations of extreme horror, may I remain and instrument of peace and prayer, even when words cannot be spoken to the person yet, in your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

A Hiding Place in God!

Ps 32: 6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 ¶ Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

In Jesus, you discover that in His name, there is safety and protection:

Pr 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

1Ki 18:24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

Ps 124:8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Isa 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. (Holy Spirit language, speaking in other tongues) http://chrisaomministries.com/2016/03/05/is-tongues-initial-evidence-of-the-holy-spirit-baptism/

When brutal things are occurring in the earth, and in your world, there are times, you need to hear His voice, be at peace.

Let’s pray:
‘Father, I come into your name, and the name of my Lord Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiah, and call upon your peace, protection, Shalom, nothing missing, nothing broken. I trust you to lead and guide me by your eye, through precious Holy Spirit, alive and active in my life, and in the earth. In your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

Are all Politicians Liars?

Are all politicians liars?

Matt 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

So we are living in the last days, and if we were to base our faith upon what we see in the news Media, life would be constant turmoil and stress, for: Pr 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

No, as Christians, we must be people of the Word, for Ps 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Our thoughts must be pure Phil 4: 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

So what happens to a man in politics? I believe that many a person enters the politcal arena, with pure intentions, sincere in their desire to contribute to a better nation, determined to do right, and provide honest, strong, stable leadership, to countries that are often facing some degree of chaos, or another. The job of leadership is to bring order out of chaos, and strong leaders should honestly be trying to do what is best, for all the people they are called to serve, both rich and poor alike.
big-or-small-god-made

Yet, let’s consider this thought: What if a leader, makes a sincere decision, that they believe is right for the country, but that is not fully in line with the Word or Spirit of God for that nation?

What happens?

Well, no matter what government you live under politically, there are always two forms of government under God, the political one, and the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, exercising God’s authority through prayer.

So we have the nations of man rising up, in conflict with one another, influenced in many cases by demonic principalities and powers, and Holy Spirit then alerts intercessors to pray, and stop evil works in the earth.

Kingdom arises against Kingdom!

The Kingdom of God arises against satanic rule and oppression.

So what about the politicians?

Well, after the church prays, and smashes mind blinding spirits from their lives, God pours out His spirit on all flesh, and we discover that:
Pr 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

The political leader, after having being prayed for, has God deal with his or her heart, and they realize that though they may have been sincere, they may have been sincerely wrong.

power test

If they are wise, they humble themselves before God, and change their mind, and set a correct course for their leadership, before a holy God.

When it looks like they have changed their mind, generally, the media screams:’Liar, liar, pants on fire!’ but those that are wise fear not the media, nor any man, but God alone, to whom each of us, must one day give an account.

My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God’s side, for God is always right.”

― Abraham Lincoln
real friend
“I’m a success today because I had a friend who believed in me and I didn’t have the heart to let him down.”
― Abraham Lincoln

We who know Jesus, have true friend who will never let us down: Pr 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Jesus is that friend that sticks closer than a brother, the one who truly loves and understands us, He is the one we must ultimately be faithful to, no matter what other men say or do!

So, to answer my own question: ‘Are all politicians liars?’
My answer is this: Depends only upon their motive of heart. If they have a sincere desire to do right, and are humble, they will remain teachable before God, and will be willing to change their mind, when they discover the error of their ways.

In my mind, this does not make them liars, rather, men and women of God!

What do you think?

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, help me to do right, and to pray for every person, holding any type of governemental, political, military, or judicial office, that You might lead them and guide them in all truth. Grant us light, integrity, courage, strength, health, and wisdom to live fully for You, and Your interests in our nation, bringing your kingdom, in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, Amen’

Strife opens the Door to Demons…

Arguing, bickering, and strife opens the door of your home to demons.

strengt
James 3:4 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
If you want peace in your home, refuse to allow arguing, harsh words, bickering.
I heard of a minister with several hundred employees, that on the job application for employment, he insists ministry employees tithe at their local church, and understand that strife will terminate their employment, instantly.
I will not allow my children to argue and fight, and on one occasion, when they refused to stop, I put them on the front porch and told them they could not come back into the house until they stopped arguing and worked out differences.
In the realm of the spirit, strife opens the door to devils and every evil work. The kingdom of God, is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you want the kingdom of peace in your home, refuse to allow strife under your roof. Its all flesh, and pride anyway, for it is written:Proverbs 13:10

Only by pride cometh contention..
We are servants of Jesus, humble…
Let’s pray:
‘Father, bring Your kingdom in peace today to my home, and my heart. Do not allow me to enter into bickering, arguing, or strife, no matter what people do, in Your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen.’

Seven That Ways God Speaks to You: Part 6 – Peace

Seven That Ways God Speaks to You: Part 6

Peace

peace0

God leads through His peace:

Let’s look at few examples of this in Scripture:

Mt 10:13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the  world.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankfulpeace Col 3

Ro 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Fully one third of the kingdom of God, as described here, is peace, where Jesus, the Prince of peace rules!

Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Ever heard one say, when asked to do something: “No, I have no peace about that..’

peace led

They are following peace, hearing Holy Spirit speak to their hearts, through peace…

The kingdom of God is one third peace. Jesus is the Prince of peace, so wherever we go, we are called to bring peace.

Isaiah 9:6 [Full Chapter]
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

peace prince

Instrument of peace

There is a now famous prayer I used to hear growning up in the Catholic church, by a man of God named saint Francis, entitled make me and instrument of peace:

peace instrument

It goes like this:

peace instrument1

Matthew 5:9 [Full Chapter]

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Yet, today we are talking about hearing the voice of God, through His peace. There may be no peace in your circumstances, but there can always be a peace in your heart that passes all understanding.

Since the Kingdom of God is an invisible Kingdom in the earth, what does a kingdom of peace look like?

Well, I like to think of the Kingdom of God, as the ‘supreme rule and reign of Jesus’. When our lives align with the will of Jesus, we find peace within. When circumstances, or even a nation align themselves with the rule and reign of Jesus, there again, will be peace.

Where His kingdom reigns, there is peace.

umpire

I like what one minister said once about Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful

That the word ‘rule’ in this verse literally means, ‘to act as an umpire’. So when a child asks, dad, can I go over to Johnny’s and play, and my heart, my umpire, my peace says, “nope”. I go with that. Kinda simple really, be led by peace, follow peace, follow Jesus.

peace in heart

Right Living produces Peace

There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Isaiah 59:8

The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

10 Because, even because they have seduced My people, saying, Peace, when there is no peace, and because when one builds a [flimsy] wall, behold, [these prophets] daub it over with whitewash

truth stand

Let’s pray:

‘Father God, teach me how to be led by peace, in all my affairs, and to be a peacemaker and bring peace wherever possible, in Your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

The Iroquois Blessing

The Iroquois Blessing

As we move forward into reconciliation, healing, forgiveness, and redeeeming the land, pastor Willie Jock of the Akwesasne, Mohawk reservation in New York, explains briefly the Wampum from the Iroquois Confederacy, that speaks reconciliation, unity, and peace, only through the cross and shed blood of Jesus Christ.

I believe, with all my heart, God is bringing unity, healing and peace to the host peoples of this land we call the United States of America, and that through them, the reign of our Creator, Jesus, Prince of Peace, will literally recreate, and heal this nation.

Governed Inside? Or by the sword?

Governed Inside

Governed Inside!

Which government will you choose?

Internal Government – Where a person receives Jesus, becomes born-again, and allows the word and Spirit of God to develop these fruits inside of character.

Gal 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Robert Winthrop, US Speaker of the House in 1849, stated:
“All societies of men must be governed in some way or another. The less they have of stringent state government, the more they must have of individual self-government. The less they rely on public law or physical force, the more they must rely on private moral restraint. Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled either by a power within them, or a power without them, either by the Word of God, or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible or the bayonet.”

Freedom is not free. Ask anyone who has ever served in the military and seen combat. Tyrants, bullies, and evil regimes must be stopped. Our hope and prayer is always the gospel, and the love and power of God to stop them. Yet, when people refuse the rule of the love of God, and to restrain themselves willingly, then wars result, and blood flows. It is either the blood of Jesus that provides mercy and life, or the blood of battle that flows in judgment and death. How much external restrain required in a society, directly depends upon how much we allow Jesus, and His freedom life to reign.

In 1832, in his History of the United States, Noah Webster wrote:
‘Almost all civil liberty now enjoyed in the world owes its origin to the principals of the Christian religion….’

Webster

Here’s why:
Phil 1: 19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Notice that when Christians pray, there is a supply of the Holy Spirit made available.

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

So, when a society is actively serving Jesus, and praying, then Holy Spirit becomes active in our personal lives, families, communities, and nations. No prayer – no Holy Spirit – no liberty. It’s that simple.

Holy Spirit will always lead us into the Word of God, and empower us to be able to do it.

Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Choose life today. Choose to learn the Word of God, and the voice of the Holy Spirit. Choose love, forgiveness, humility, reconciliation, and the passionate life that exists in the gospel today.

Surely, this war-torn, sin-sick world has seen enough hate, violence, and atrocities!

Will you choose life, and peace, or the sword?

He who lives by the sword, will surely die by it…

It’s your choice.

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, Your love is so much greater than the hate, violence, and brutality of war. Today, I choose You. Fill me with your strength and power, to live, love, and exercise self-control and forgiveness towards others. I need you Jesus! Holy Spirit, come into my life, and fill me afresh and anew with your presence, comfort, wisdom, power, and direction, today. I believe I receive it, for I ask in Your name Lord Jesus, AMEN!’

Victory in Unity

Victory in Unity

Unity

The Word of the Lord, come to the tribes, through and from the elders for 2014, is ‘unity’.

These are the host peoples of this land, and for those of us in the US, we need to have ears to hear, and eyes to see, what God is speaking and revealing….
Genesis 11:6
And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them.

From the beginning of time, there has been spiritual power generated, when people work together in unity.
Jesus said if only two of us might agree in prayer, as touching anything, it would be done for us
Matt18: 19 Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and [g]everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.
20 For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.

When Jesus, King of the Universe shows up, things happen.

Deuteronomy 32:30
How could one have chased a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had delivered them up?

There is great spiritual power released, when people come together in prayer, in Jesus, in purpose….

Here in Oklahoma, Governer Haskell, in his inaugural address over the state said:
In the Oklahoma Inaugural address, governor Haskell glorified Oklahoma as a state “where the original owners of the state had not yet been conquered, but had joined with their white neighbors in forming a new commonwealth, and he found in the red and white stripes of the American flag, a new symbolism, of the red man and the white man united under the azure sky.”
‘Father in heaven, Creator, do a miracle here, and across America, where indeed, you might heal; the relationships between the red and white man, united under Your azure sky. Only You can do this thing, for the history and wounds are very deep, but the depths of the cross of Jesus, Yeshua, are deeper. Make it happen, do a miracle, for our eyes are on You, AMEN!’
Now, here in Oklahoma, we have every tongue, every tribe (39 tribes!), and every nation represented, as international businesses and ministries have been raised up here from this red soil.
Yet, wherever you are, unity is worth fighting for. Not unity of language, culture, nor over tradition. No, Godly unity, is unity through diversity.

God has given our unique destinies, languages, cultures, for He will have a witness, from every nation of the earth before His throne.
Revelation 1:7
Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall gaze upon Him and beat their breasts and mourn and lament over Him. Even so [must it be]. Amen (so be it).

Revelation 5:9
And [now] they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation.

Revelation 7:9
After this I looked and a vast host appeared which no one could count, [gathered out] of every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages. These stood before the throne and before the Lamb; they were attired in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.

Unity, can come, in Jesus, Yeshua, between Jew and Gentile, Indian and white man, red and yellow black and white, we are all precious in His sight.

So, I rewrote a prayer of Unity, that still speaks to me today, and is a battle cry of heaven…
Prayer for Unity
Been thinking about David Ruis song: Break Dividing Walls, as prophetic key to revival in regions and this nation:.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qRtltD2ysg

John 17: 11 ¶ And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
17 ¶ Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 ¶ Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

E ph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Ps 133:1 ¶ «A Song of degrees of David.» Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

Father, I join in the prayer of Jesus, for unity in the Body of Christ in my people, tribe, city, state, and this nation. Reveal the glory that you have given us Jesus, that sanctifies us and cleanse us of our foolish ways. May truth be spoken in love that is revealed to us deep within, that cleanses us of our own ways and agendas, that we may take our place before You Father, Creator of Heaven and earth, in the Body of Christ, bringing our particular gift and supply of Holy Spirit, that we may all work together for the harvest, the increase of your kingdom and Body, as we grow together in love.

Warrior God, King of Heaven’s armies, burn with passion and zeal in me, to see my people find the peace, love, healing, provision, and joy, that only comes from You, and You alone, as I walk before You with clean hands, purity of heart, and clear eyes to see….

Help me to be a peacemaker to my people, my family, my tribe and council, to each other, and to this city and region, a bridge builder causing people, families, ministries, governments, businesses, organizations, and our communities to work together in love and one accord, sharing resources that You so richly provide to us, generously, to get needs of people met, that You be glorified.

Father help us as leaders to stand strong for people, programs, ministries, administrative processes, ordained of You, constantly growing and refining them to bear much fruit for You. Those agendas that are of our own making, or that have outlived their usefulness to you and your specific calling upon our lives, please prune and remove them, by Your own hand.

Help us to be pliable in your hand, flowing together with other peoples, ministries, and leaders here in our community, city and land, as You grant us supernatural wisdom, to avoid strife and discord as far as it remains with us.

Help to remain humble, teachable, and make your servant heart of aggressive growth continue to burn bright in and through us, that the world may see your love.

In your authority, I break dividing walls between family members, community factions, clans, tribes, ministries, governments, denominations, and congregations, loosing reconciliation, revelation, love, and understanding between us. I command all judgment, haughtiness, bitterness, pride, arrogancy, unforgiveness, religion, offence, tradition, racism: MOVE, in the name and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ! There, we enforce your kingdom in righteousness, peace, and joy, in power, anointing, and commanded blessing, in the love of God and name and authority of King Jesus! Amen!

100 Watts in a 60 Watt World

100 Watts in a 60 Watt World

100 Watts in a 60 Watt World
I was at a conference one day, and I heard a minister named Jill Austin, make the following statement, that really helped me at the time.
She said that the anointing upon a persons life, can be compared to light. That when God promotes a person, in a local congregation or community, they are like a 100 watt light bulb, burning bright for Jesus.
If the Christian community where they serve, is moving in a corporate anointing that is equivalent, to say, 60 Watts, then the new light on a person, exposes the darkeness of others in the organization, and usually, these very ones, who should perhaps embrace the new level of power, glory, and revelation manifest, become its prime persecutors…
This really spoke to me at the time, and still does today.
Hebrews 10:32
New International Version (NIV)
32 Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering.
Hebrews 10:32
King James Version (KJV)
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
As I have thought about this today, I have something I need to say about it.
In my life, this has been my experience, and it is indeed Scriptural. When God authentically speaks to me, and I have, in my zeal and passion, shared what I saw or heard, often, the very people I thought would become my closest encouragers and supporters, often became my most brutal wet blankets, trying to put out my fire, or in directly opposing and persecuting me!
Ouch! Touch any nerves for anyone yet?
OK, rather than bash some great people, let’s look and see if perhaps, I have learned a few things, that may prevent you some similar pain.
First of all, let me say, that Jesus Himself, was crucified, and He did not promise you and I an easy life,
Matthew 10:24
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall havetribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

In this life, there are hard things we must walk though, no compromise.
Yet, John Wayne made this statement:
‘Life is hard, It’s even harder if you are stupid!’
What I want to share, is some of my own stupidity, that I pray, may save you some of the pain I have endured.
First of all, let me make some statements:
1. When you authentically hear God, ask HIM if you are to share what He showed you. Sometimes stuff is just for you, to be walked out in faith. Joseph got thrown in a pit and sold into slavery by His brothers, for sharing when perhaps he should of shut up! Yet, there times that God speaks, and let the chips fall where they may, PREACH IT!
Luke 12:3
Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

2. Write it Down! If it was important enough for God, Creator of the Universe to speak to you, surely you can write it down. Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Sometimes what God showed you is immediate, but often, it may be for some years down the line. Sometimes, what He says, is sovereign, and will surely come to pass, as in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, that are ‘as He wills’, other times, things must be believed, received, and walked out in faith. These words must be guarded in our hearts, for satan would love to steal. Matt 13: 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Rather than go on this whole topic, let me share a couple of practical thoughts on relationally dealing with people in love on both sides of this fence.
History is full of examples of people that learned the world was round, when critics claimed it to be flat, learned to fly, and did what had never been done before.
First of all I think of the words of Kenneth E. Hagin, ‘My light does not burn any brighter, by snuffing out the light of another.’
What seems to happen, often, is when God speaks to someone, whose life appears to be chaos, something amazing, that He alone can do, and if you have breath in your body, your natural cynicism immediately says (at least mentally), (Yeah, right!).
Yet, God loves to oppose the proud and exalt the humble, and change the world through broken people, for is it not written:
1 Corinthians 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Wisdom is this, DO NOT OPPOSE THE PERSON, ENCOURAGE THEM!
God may have actually spoken to them, and He can do anything!
Luke 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

If the person has a call to do something great, give them these verses, and counsel them to qualify the call, according to the Word of God.
1 Timothy 3:1-7
Amplified Bible (AMP)
3 The saying is true and irrefutable: If any man [eagerly] seeks the office of bishop (superintendent, overseer), he desires an excellent task (work).
2 Now a bishop (superintendent, overseer) must give no grounds for accusation but must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect and temperate and self-controlled; [he must be] sensible and well behaved and dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life; [he must be] hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to the believers, especially strangers or foreigners, and be] a capable and qualified teacher,
3 Not given to wine, not combative but gentle and considerate, not quarrelsome but forbearing andpeaceable, and not a lover of money [insatiable for wealth and ready to obtain it by questionable means].
4 He must rule his own household well, keeping his children under control, with true dignity, commanding their respect in every way and keeping them respectful.
5 For if a man does not know how to rule his own household, how is he to take care of the church of God?
6 He must not be a new convert, or he may [develop a beclouded and stupid state of mind] as the result of pride [be blinded by conceit, and] fall into the condemnation that the devil [once] did.
7 Furthermore, he must have a good reputation and be well thought of by those outside [the church], lest he become involved in slander and incur reproach and fall into the devil’s trap.

These verses must be the battle cry, for any of us authentically called into Christian leadership, whether in the church, or business world.
God may give a visionary directive, but the vision must be qualified through character.
This is not some secret formula, rather, is the application of these verses, to our personal lives, and for those of us honestly seeking the power of God to change this generation, we discover we NEED God’s power to walk in this, faithfully, diligently, daily.
So, whether you are the soul on fire, filled with passion, zeal, and clear revelation, or the one who sees them burning, while it seems like their personal life is flakey, let’s walk in love, and help each other get to where we need to go in the kingdom of God.
We might need their revelation (if THEY are the 100 Watt bulb) or we might need their character and stability (If WE are the 100 watt bulb).
On both sides of the fence, the love of Jesus must prevail. God hates rebellion, and he who sows discord among the brethren….
Much can be said here, but this is all I need to share today, to get this out there. God would have love, and unity in His Body, His church, this precious Bride.
Let’s Pray:
‘Father, grant me illumination, power, light, miracles, creativity to change this generation, and to bless this earth! May I ever seek you for holiness and purity of heart and conduct, as you develop your love and character in me. May I never be a wet blanket to another person’s fire and zeal, but in humility, gentleness, and love, may I be quick to pray, as I see glaring needs in them, and their ministries. Help me to bring others, into what you have shown me, free from spiritual pride, haughtiness, and arrogance of way. Show me what and where to share, with whom, when to pray, and when to say, what I know to be true, that I might be the vessel of honor you need me to be, in this generation, for the sake of the harvest, and Your great name Lord Jesus, I pray, Amen!”
