The Sure Mercies of David! Cry Out to Jesus!

The Sure Mercies of David Luke 18: 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. Isa 55:3 Incline your ear, […]

The Sure Mercies of David

I feel impressed to share again the famous story of a blind man named Bartimaeus:

bartimaeus

We read of it hear in Luke chapter 18, but I need to amplify this verse:

Luke 18: 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

blind
This is no ordinary story, it is one of deep faith, for though Bartimaeus was blind with his earthly eyes, He ‘saw’ clearly with the eye of faith. He knew Jesus would stop, He knew Jesus would heal, for He understood Jesus, who He was, and what He would do. Why?

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Bartimaeus had heard clearly this word from the Jewish writings, and He believed it:

Isa 55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

He knew a prophet had arisen in the land, and that God was with Him!

Surely he knew the stories of Moses, Elijah, Elisha, and of the mighty miracles God had wrought through them, and he knew that God could not lie, and that He had made a covenant with his servant David, a covenant of mercy, open to all who would see and understand the love of God.

He surely had also heard of the mighty testimonies of how the lame walked, the deaf heard, the sick were healed through the touch of this man – Jesus of Nazareth.

This is the story of Blind Bartimaeus, crying out to Jesus as He walked by. This is a sermon I can preach, with passion and power. How Jesus is walking by….

Yet, what was interesting, is what he prayed, ‘Son of David, have mercy upon me!

blind-bart

He lifted up the promise of God, in passion, and anguish of soul, recognizing his moment of eternal destiny, and suddenly, the promise, breathed life into his sightless eyes, for God is never I was, or I will be: His name is I AM!

And NOW Faith is!

Are you desperate enough to cry out to Jesus tonight?

desparate
Will you have your miracle tonight?

It is totally up to you….

Cry out to Him, Now!

“Jesus! Heal me, work in me, show me what to do, reveal Your Power, help me! Take away my pain! Amen!’

Whatever HE Says – Do it!

whatever he says
Two people try to do the exact same thing before God. One has a word from the Lord, and Jesus does miracles for them. The other, did not have a word from the Lord, and they crash and burn, and cause great heartbreak to the Lord, their families, and everyone around them. He will pay for and bless, only what He gives voice to. He will not bless our imitation of others. Truly, it is life or death – accurately hearing Him. John 2:5 – Whatever HE says, do it

Jesus said:

John 10:27 The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.

He promises that we WILL hear His voice!

Hear Him, and obey!

obey whatever He says

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I want to hear Jesus voice today. Jesus, you promised to speak to me, personally, what you would like me to do. Please speak to me, and give me clear direction today, and to miracles as I obey. Amen!”

obey no compromise

A Page Torn From my Bible

A page torn out of my Bible…
YOUR Great Commission - Embracing YOUR Destiny!
For many years I carried a Rhema Study Bible, given to me when I learned I had been accepted at Bible school. One of my favorite passages is:

Mark 16: 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 ¶ So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
greater works
This was given to me by a nurse from Ottawa, Ontario named Deana Jones. She gave it to me after I had completed a 40 day fast, before being accepted into Rhema Bible Training center, and that particular Bible literally fell apart after 15 years of study and preaching. I have preached these verses so many times, all over the world, with signs following, that what was originally highlighted and marked up, is became completely worn out of my Bible!

This is the great commission, and is the battle cry of the church!

Let me give you a couple of testimonies from these verses:
tongues1
Once, while arguing with a brethren that was deeply rooted in his unbelief in his thought that the gifts of the Holy Spirit were passed away, and that speaking in tongues were of the devil I confronted him with this verse:

These signs are only for those that believe!

Whatever is not of faith is sin!

You can believe, and speak in tongues, or refuse to believe, and not speak in tongues, but speaking in tongues is only for believers, not doubters!

He became angry and asked me to leave his house. Yet, he could not sleep for several nights, and felt compelled to attend a Pentecostal church moving in revival. At one point the pastor stopped the service and had the 400-500 in attendance to all simultaneously pray in tongues. This man was overwhelmed, and overcome by the power of God, and suddenly found himself speaking in other tongues.
demons-cast-out

Another time, while working with children, two boys were fighting. I separated them, and one little boy fell on the ground growling and frothing at the mouth. I discerned an evil spirit present, and commanded it to leave. The boy shrieked, vomited, and became very, very quiet. Then he whispered: ‘Is it gone?’ I told him that it was gone, and would not come back, and he began to weep, deep broken sobs, telling me how this evil spirit had come to him in the night, and would torment him and demand he do vile things or it would kill him.

Several days later, his grandpa came to see me to ask me what had happened to his grandson, so I told him. He said that the boy was totally different, and could not thank me enough for praying for him.

preach-gospel
Another historic moment in my life was in 2003 at the Hershey convention center, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the night that brother Kenneth E. Hagin was supposed to preach. There was a massive power failure, knocking power out to millions of homes, and the crusade was cancelled. While the crowd stood on the steps waiting to see if we could get in, and told there would be no meeting that night, someone said, ‘Hey, there’s pastor Chris, and he is a Rhema grad, have him preach to us!’ So amidst cheers, I ascended the steps, and began to preach, using these verses: I preached salvation, healing, prosperity, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit for over an hour, and people got saved, healed, filled with the Holy Spirit, and they even took up an offering for me! How were we to know that this would be brother Hagins last big crusade, and that he would return to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and die to go home to be with the Lord.

The Bible I use now, was given to us as a wedding gift from he and miss Oretha:

kenneth-hagin-bible
Yet, I’m still trying to make him proud, preaching this Word of Faith, with signs following, every where the Lord should open doors for me.

Let’s pray:
“Father, open doors and hearts for me to preach your Word, through every available media outlet: Internet, television, radio, the printed page, however, and wherever you might direct. May I be faithful to go and preach, continually, as you are always faithful to work with me, performing your word faithfully, with signs following, in your name I pray Lord Jesus! Amen”

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus!

He is the WayMaker!
waymaker
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Is 45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
way1
We serve a living God!

Jesus is not only the only way to the Father, He is the waymaker in our lives!

If you are up against an impossible situation, know that He is alive, active, and in love with you!

I heard a minister say:

2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

The promises of God are yes. When God gave them, He backed them up with an oath, and His character. He is holy. He cannot lie. If He said it, He must do it, for His name is at state.

Amen, is our part, where we show that we believe by what we say. The word ‘Amen’ means, ‘so be it!’.

So, 2Co 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
We face a problem, and we go to God with one of His promises.

God answers in power, and delivers us.
bring-glory
This brings Him glory, as the rest of the verse says: ‘unto the glory of God by us.!’
We bring Him glory, how? When we believe a specific promise from His Word, act upon it, and see His power displayed!

Well, I want to bring Him glory today!

I choose to believe that my Shepherd, King Jesus, is going before me today. Making a way, where there seems to be no way. Rivers in the desert, pathways through the seas of my difficulties, not some day, but this day! For He is not the God of I was (the past), nor the God of I will be (the future) but His name is I AM, my ever present help in this time of my need, and yours.

Ps 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

benifits

Bless the Lord O my soul, for today, this day, God almighty is visiting my house, and loading me, with benefits. How about you?

Some of you have lost your way. Like Peter walking on the water, all you see is the wind and the waves, the storms and trials of life.

Yet there is one high and lifted up, who walks above the wind and the waves, and we need to turn our eyes unto HIM!

The temptation, the trial, is real, but His Word and Power are available to change it. It is not the end of the road, there is a way, a way of escape!

1 Cor 10: 13

For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.
way-of-escape
Jesus is the way, and the waymaker – turn your eyes and heart to Him, and HE WILL DELIVER YOU!

Lets Pray:
‘Father, I believe that Jesus is alive in my life, and that He is my Shepherd, and He is Lord! Today, I see You going before me, and making the crooked places straight: You will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 Thank You Father, that you give me today, the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that again I might know that You, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
I believe that You will load me with benefits today, simply because I believe in You Lord Jesus, for Your name is I AM, my ever-present help in time of need! Thank you again for performing Your Word, and making a way, where there seemed to be no way. AMEN!’

Will you turn aside?

Receive your miracle, now!
but-at-your-word
Luke 5:2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
nets
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both the ships so that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Let’s look at another encounter where God reveals Himself:
turn-aside-red
Ex 3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
Ex 3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

Seems God loves to show up in the workplace. Here we see Peter working in his own strength, trying to make a living as a fisherman. He learned what all of us must learn, our own strength is no match for the power of God, and that power is released only when we obey Him.

Gave a prophecy some time ago, entitled: Jesus lit a match. https://chrisaomministries.com/2016/12/13/jesus-lit-a-match/

Seems I am walking out the fruit of that very word, where Jesus has lit a burning bush in my life, and like Moses, I said to myself: ‘I will now turn aside, and see this great sight…’ In my life, the burning bush occurred at the deathbed of a three-year-old princess, who died and went home to be with the Lord. God spoke to me after that 4 days and 4-night prayer vigil, about my heavenly calling, purpose, and responsibility.

As a direct result of that one mind-blowing encounter, I have followed after Him, with all my heart mind soul and strength, with everything in me.

Miracles, signs, and wonders have become my daily portion, as God confirms my calling, in my day to day, life.
obedience-acts-5-32
He will do it in yours too if you fully obey Him.

Ac 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

When the Holy Spirit bears witness to a human life, miracles result.

How well I realize, that this power beginning to manifest again in my life, is not about me, but rather you. There is always a people on the other side of our obedience, and you dear friend, are one of those people.

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I thank you and praise you for your love, goodness, and power. Today, I release your power, anointing, and strength into this people, believing you to honor this Word with signs, wonders, miracles, healings, prosperity, breakthroughs, direction, conviction of sin, and mercy, forgiveness, and cleansing. Holy Spirit, I thank you for the privilege of being used of you today, in your name I pray, Lord Jesus, Amen’

Now, Inbox me with your particular testimony of His grace to you today!

Mercy! Lord Have Mercy..

Mercy…

Ps 136:23 ¶ Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:
24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.
mercy1
This psalm seems almost repetitive: His mercy endures forever! Mercy is a force of heaven that produces miracles:

Let’s look at a few verses on the mercy of Jesus:

Matt 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Mt 9:27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

Mt 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Mt 17:15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

Mt 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Luke 1:57 ¶ Now Elisabeth’s full time came that she should be delivered; and she brought forth a son.
Luke 18:58 And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.

37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

In our day to day world we forget in our busy ness that we still need mercy…
two-men1

Luke 18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Jesus came to reveal and demonstrate the mercy of God…

To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

Mercy is the power of God in the earth. When God has mercy, miracles happen…

Matt 12:But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

Let us never get too proud or knowledgeable to forget God’s mercy:

Let’s pray:
‘Father, have mercy upon me today. For those upon my prayer list, have mercy! Protect me from my own pride, self-will, blindness! In your name I pray, Lord Jesus! Amen.”

FIRST Words…Life or Death!

First Word!
first-words
We had a great time sharing with Mike Schmidt and Dove Schmidt yesterday at Crossroads ranch, and we shared testimonies of Gods provision, protection, and miraculous interventions in our lives.
death and life
Karen made the statement that is literally life or death for a believer –

“When an accident occurs or something horrible comes, it is the FIRST Words out of your mouth that determine the outcome of the trial’

When a car wreck comes, we yell ‘Jesus’ and discover we come out of an impossible situation, unscathed.

A thug pulls a gun on you to rob you, and you proclaim ‘the blood of Jesus’ and slap him, and he ends up on the ground by the power of God.

A tree limb falls on you from 70′ up, and dislocates your skull, but before losing consciousness, you SAY: ‘Jesus, I’m healed’, and within a couple days, your head is fine.

You get bit by a recluse spider in the forehead, and through the searing burning pain, you cry: ‘Jesus, I’m healed‘, and you lose no tissue, and do not die, because the FIRST Words out of your mouth are words of faith and authority, calling on our covenant, forcing God to honor His Word and to deliver you.

We have lived these things for several decades now, and these are real life stories, and if we had time and space, we could share hundreds more.

We must keep out hearts full of the Word of God, so that out of the overflow, come our words-not merely empty, memorized stale bread from yesteryear’s, but words gestated, grown, day by day, year by year, alive with intimacy with Holy Spirit from the fire of our own personal alter established each morning before His throne – that produce signs, wonders, miracles, and acts of His power in our life that make headlines in heaven- and we create a testimony to the glory of Jesus that others can follow.

prophecy testimony

FIRST Words – each day and each trial, become precedent setting events in our lives – that establish our course – a victorious journey with Jesus.

This morning, we must be refilled with precious Holy Spirit, stirring up the gift of God within us, and we must eat fresh of the Word of God, the bread of life, feeding our hearts with what only heaven can bring. Words of life, birthed in prayer, that establish our world, and prepare us for anything this life might attempt to throw at us.

NOW faith is, and His name is I AM – our ever present help in time of trouble.

Today, is the day of salvation, Today is the day to believe, Today is the day to live for Jesus, NOW!
show up1

Let’s Pray:

‘Father, I come to you again, looking to heaven again, Today. Fill me afresh with Your Word and precious Holy Spirit as I stir myself up in the gift you have given me. May there be fresh passion, life, fire, enthusiasm, and Your love shed abroad in our hearts that ignites our faith and causes it it to work today. I ask this Dad, knowing I am heard and answered, for I ask in Your mighty and matchless name Lord Jesus. Amen.’

Healing? Look to Jesus..

Healing
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

The anointing, or appointing of the Holy Spirit, upon us as ministers of the gospel, is only God’s power, present to manifest His precious promises.

Healing, was promised, for everyone, long before Jesus came to the earth.

Is 53:4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

He fulfilled that promise in His earthly ministry:

Matt 8: 16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Matthew 9:35 ¶ And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.

Now, healing is an established fact in heaven, backed up by Jesus own shed blood upon the cross, where He bore not only our sin, but also our sickness.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, the New is the Old Testament revealed.

Today, in our reading, we read:

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: to the simple.

This was proclaimed by Jesus, before He went to the cross for both our sin, and sickness, and was a fulfillment of the account, where the people of God had sinned, and fiery serpents came into the camp, biting and killing many.

Num 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.

So, we see that the people of God had sinned, and firey serpents were killing them. The people asked God and Moses to forgive them, and God sent healing to them. He told Moses to make a bronze serpent, lift it up upon a pole, and that those who looked upon it, should live.

So, the people in their pain and death had to do several things:
1. Realize they had sinned.
2. Cry out to God, and ask forgiveness and healing, in the presence of His minister, Moses.
3. Look upon the serpent upon the pole.

God is the same today!

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

If you are sick today, you can do the same three things, and you will be healed:

1. Realize you have sinned.
2. Cry out to God, ask Him forgiveness, right here, right now, in my presence.
3. Look upon the cross of Jesus, where He bore your sin and sickness, and you will be healed.

1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Let’s pray:
“Father, forgive me for going my own way, and not serving You. Help me. I look to the cross, where Jesus died for my sin and sickness, and I receive your forgiveness, and healing, NOW, in Your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

garment of praise
Ga 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

What are you wearing today?

Whether we are like the woman with the issue of blood, pressing in to Jesus, to touch the hem of His garment today, clothed in blood and shame, or if we have perfected holiness and obedience in our gift and calling, and are walking as Peter walked in the earth:

Ac 5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. 16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

It is still all about Jesus. It is His power displayed in the earth, the living, breathing, person of the Holy Spirit acting eternally upon the temporal condition of man.

We know, we grow, and faith to faith, strength to strength, we learn to obey Him, Emmanuel, God with us, and the more we learn of Him, and His presence with us, the more of His glory moves through us.

Whether the smallest spiritual child, or the mightiest, most seasoned Christian warrior and deliverer, its still all about Jesus. He is Lord, and we walk with Him, talk with and learn to be like Him, we glorify His name.

There is a place of commanded blessing, where brethren in unity dwell, there where the oil of anointing is flowing, where we live as one!

From the childlike faith to press in and touch the hem of His garment, to the place of spiritual maturity where we walk in our authority, wearing our robes of righteousness, and garments of praise, so that people are pressing in to receive their miracles wrought at our hands, by faith in the One Who can never lie, nor fail!

Miracles, God glorifying miracles, are my intent and purpose today.

In many areas of my world, I feel like the woman with the issue of blood, dirty, humbled, and pressing in for my own needs to be met.

In others, as I see myself seated in heavenly places in Him,

Deut 28:1 ¶ And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

Ephesians 2:6 (AMP)

And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus,

reigning in life
I sit with Jesus, high above the earth, exercising His authority over governments of men, and smashing demonic principalities over nations, shepherding them into His plans and blessings for them today, in governmental prayer.

Yet, I simply, and will always, love Jesus. Again longing to spend time with Him, to walk with Him, to hear His voice, to sit at His feet, and learn wisdom for this next and upcoming season of leadership I see on the horizon of time, there, but not yet arrived…

Where are you at with Him today?

What are You wearing?

It’s all good news, He loves us, and will never leave nor forsake us, and Holy Spirit longs to be known, yeilded to , and to display His power through you!

5 Or do you suppose that the Scripture is speaking to no purpose that says, The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome] with a jealous love?

I’m hungry to receive that jealous love today, for my life, and for the people He has called me to see and understand, and minister miracles to, today.

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I press in to You today, knowing my great needs, my hungers, and my utter helplessness, apart from You. Touch me! Fill me! Meet with Me! Do Miracles in my life and family! Meet all of our needs with savage acts of Your power and love! Now Father, I turn my eyes towards the world You created, the earth some call mother, for from its dirt, you created Adam, and breathed upon him, Your breath of life. The earth, that is groaning in travail today, in these last days, under the weight of sin, and in anticipation of me, and my friends reading this, to take our place, in Your authority, and to bring that which Jesus shed blood has wrought! Forgiveness, deliverance from the curse, healing, deliverance out of the domain of devils and darkness, into the kingdom of the Son of Your, and our love.

Jesus You are Lord! We would glorify Your name today Lord, as King of love in the earth, as again, we press towards the mark of Your high calling, displaying Your wonders for the glory and fame of Your name. Have mercy upon the earth today Lord Jesus, and anoint us freshly in Your power, glory, and anointing, that we can make this day, a better day, for the people you have called us to love, and to Shepherd into Your purposes, Amen!

His Glory is a Defense!

The glory shall be a defence!

Is 4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

As I read these words, and think of the very real spiritual warfare we face when we exercise Jesus authority over demons, and wickedness in the earth, I am reminded of the armor of God given to us in Ephesians chapter 6. There is much teaching on this armor, but notice that it is all this armor is for moving forward, attacking and taking ground for the kingdom.

Truly Jesus is building His church, and the gates of hell are not prevailing against us, and we are vessels of His glory!

Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

In Jesus, His glory is revealed, reconciling the irreconcilable, redeeming the nonredeemable, forgiving the unforgivable, healing the incurable, delivering those without hope or God in this world!

In battle, strategists plan for attacks from the rear, yet when we pray, fast, and fully obey Holy Spirit, we find this precious promise tucked into fasting chapter of Is 58:

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning,
and thine health shall spring forth speedily:
and thy righteousness shall go before thee;
the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.

This word rereward, is Strongs number: 622, the Hebrew word:

asaph: to gather, remove

Original Word: אָסַף

Strongs lists four definitions here, but I believe that the applicable ones used here, are definitions 3 and 4, which are 3:bring up the rear of Isaiah 58:8 יַאַסְפֶ֑ךָ ׳כְּבוֺד י i.e. be thy rear-guard

4:gather and take away, remove, withdraw

The picture I see in these words is of the Lord, with the host of heaven, angels that encamp around us that fear Him, literally protecting our rear, and gathering together demonic forces, and wicked people that serve them, and TAKING THEM AWAY FROM OUR LIVES!
warrior bible

As His church, His bride, His family, His covenant people, we are covered by His glory, and His glory shall be our defense!

These are the last days, and dangerous times. It is time to pray dangerous prayers, for the God of glory to perform ‘suddenlies’: Breakthroughs into our daily human existence, acts of power demonstrating His glory. I cry out for boldness and courage, that Holy Spirit again manifest in our lives like in Acts 4, where the places we meet are literally shaken by His power, and demonstration. We serve a very living God…

Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I believe I receive the glory Jesus gave us, today! I believe that very glory is doing for me, and my house, what I could never even conceive in and of myself! I ask you for You to breakthrough into my life, shaking what must be shaken, that I become everything You have created me to be, and see again, the mighty, notable, miracles you have recorded in Your Word, NOW, Today! In this, my generation. Thank You Lord Jesus! Amen’
