Pray in Tongues – Walk in the Love of God!

Pray in Tongues - Walk in the Love of God!

Pray in tongues, that you might walk in Love!
As we walk with Jesus, we are required to love, even the unlovely, and unloveable in our world. This will take the power of God, and if you are honest, is not possible, naturally, as there are some really miserable people in the earth today. Yet, we must love them…
Hear the words of Jesus:
Mt 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mt 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
We must love..and we can do it by and through the Holy Spirit:
Ga 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love,
Love is a kingdom law, the royal law:
Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Some say, I will love God, but not people! You see what they have done!
1Jo 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?q
Welcome to my world! Embrace the cross, as people either sabotage what God has clearly called me to do, or quietly neglected us as we endeavor to obey God fully as a family. There is a cross for my pain, my expectations, my lonliness, fatigue, and tears, and out of the fire, comes pure gold, true faith transformed by the grace of our almighty King! Seems that cross, has my name on it. There is one for you too….
In today’s reading, we see a key, on how we are actually able to do this! Love victoriously! God has given us the Holy Spirit, infinite love, to live in us, through us, to love our enemies, the perverse, the miserable, the haters…
Like the old song goes, ‘They will know we are Christians by our love..
Jude 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Notice here, that sometimes, it takes prayer in the Holy Spirit, to build ourselves up in faith, that we may KEEP ourselves in the love of God. Love is a decision: Love Loud today!
Let’s Pray:
‘Father, You are alive and active in Your world. Jesus, you have commanded us to loved our enemies, that are ever before us, people determined to destroy us, to steal our joy, peace, provision, hard hearted…yet, You love them, and by your grace, so can we. Flow through me today Holy Spirit, in my heavenly prayer language, with Your love shed abroad in my heart, that I can love victoriously, passionately, and faithfully today, in Your precious name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen!”

Strong people, Forgive

Strong people, Forgive

Forgiveness wins, Love destroys Hate!
When the first missionaries came to Alberta, Canada, they were savagely opposed by a young chief of the Cree Indians named Maskepetoon. But he responded to the gospel and accepted Christ. Shortly afterward, a member of the Blackfoot tribe killed his father. Maskepetoon rode into the village where the murderer lived and demanded that he be brought before him. Confronting the guilty man, he said, “You have killed my father, so now you must be my father. You shall ride my best horse and wear my best clothes.” In utter amazement and remorse his enemy exclaimed, “My son, now you have killed me!” He meant, of course, that the hate in his own heart had been completely erased by the forgiveness and kindness of the Indian chief.
Jesus died to destroy all hatred, bitterness, and rage. Only when we choose to forgive, can we truly overcome evil with good
It is His command, if we want Him to forgive us…
Let’s Pray:
“Father, I choose to rise above all bitterness, and tragedy, by forgiving and loving my enemies. Not as a worm, or a victim, but in strength, for in You, I walk as a child of the Most High God, equal to all other men. Give me the courage and boldness this takes, in Jesus name, Amen.’
