The Celestial Game

Ps 82:1 «A Psalm of Asaph.» God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
Ps 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Ever felt like a chess piece in the game of life. Sure you are anointed, wise, bold, strong, and set in position, leading with all that you know how to do and be.

Yet, Jesus is Lord, not us.

Sometimes life gets very interesting, as people move in faith and the anointing, and God responds, and our best laid plans get waylaid, as we lean not on our own understanding, as Holy Spirit moves and directs us to produce harvests, avert disasters, to bring provision and structure to events and ministries that seem to bloom in our midst, sometimes very unexpectantly. Of course there is the work of devils, and men and women that serve demon spirits, that constantly maneuver to oppose and resist our best intentions.

Yet, Jesus is Lord of the Harvest, King of the Universe, and if we let Him, king and guardian of our hearts. While we plan, strategize, and work, there are clearly times that His sovereign Hand comes upon our lives, and redirects our steps.

Pr 16:9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

‘Father, I move, you move, by your grace, in unison. Help me to rest in your moves, even when my natural understanding is limited. In your name I pray, Lord Jesus, Amen’

Living in the End Times….
Jesus is Lord!
Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
I do not yet pretend to be an expert on end-time Bible prophecy, or eschatology. Yet, clearly these verses refer to the end-times, and clearly these are the times in which we live. So we see abortion legalized here in America, same-sex marriage legislated, and secret financial dealings of treachery against the United States, the land of the free, and home of the brave, the nation founded for and upon the gospel of Jesus Christ…Horrible things being done, proudly, foolishly in government, that clearly oppose the Scripture, and the One who upholds it!
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Is 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Jesus is Lord! He is the Prince of princes!
There is the government of man, and the eternal government of heaven, that stands over the affairs of men, no matter how great they think they are:
Beltashazzar discovered this to his own peril, as Daniel explained to him:
Da 5:18 O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:
Da 5:21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
When the government of man opposes the government of God, and there is a church alive, active, in authority declaring the decrees of God, and the decrees of God are always upheld in heavens holiness, that man’s government, and the people seeking to implement it, are disposed, broken, and depending upon their heart before God, either humbled and reused, or forever removed from power and leadership.
For those of us in leadership, this should keep us humble, broken, teachable before the throne…
Da 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
Jesus Christ is Lord, King over heaven and the earth.
Serve Him, and be blessed, both in this life, and eternally. Reject Him, and discover:
Lu 20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
I have fallen upon the rock, and been broken, and again am being raised up in his love and power, His servant to the nations…

‘Father God, I bow before Your throne today, and stand upon Your Word. I would see Jesus today enthroned not only as king of my heart, but in my thoughts, deeds, and decrees. Today, I stand boldly declaring Your kingdom, in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit today, over my life, the life of my family, and over not only the United States of America, but also these nations you have given me to pray for today. I ask this, knowing I am heard, answered and delivered, for again I ask in Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!

Behold! The Whole World Has Gone After Him!

John 12: 19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Indeed, the whole world has gone after Jesus!

Whether they accept Him, and serve Him willingly, or gnash their teeth in frustration, as their plans continually fail, as they run up against His kingdom operating in the earth, the Church is victoriously moving forward in every nation of the earth, and there is absolutely nothing that people or devils can do to stop it!

Mt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Some think that His kingdom with come, only when Jesus Himself comes to the earth, and physically takes up residence upon His throne in Jerusalem, city of the great king, but His kingdom has come now, and is very active for those with eyes to see, and ears to hear.
I like the way John Bevere defined the kingdom of God as the ‘supreme rule and reign of God in the universe.’

Mt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

How can Jesus make this statement?

Simple, when He rose from the dead, and His blood was literally applied to the mercy seat before the throne of God in heaven, it was decreed:
Matt 28:18 All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

All power, authority, belong to Jesus, now!

Our job, is to hear, and obey Him.

The angels have figured it out!

Psalm 103:19-22

God has set his throne in heaven; he rules over us all. He’s the King! So bless God, you angels, ready and able to fly at his bidding, quick to hear and do what he says. Bless God, all you armies of angels, alert to respond to whatever he wills. Bless God, all creatures, wherever you are— everything and everyone made by God. And you, O my soul, bless God!

Now we need to be like the servants at the wedding, when Mary spoke: Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5)

When we do, His power is displayed in the earth, and through our prayers, and the exercising of that authority, the nations are shepherded by the Holy Spirit, as He governs them through the very decrees we utter in prayer over the earth.

And so we have become joint-heirs with Jesus….occupying until He comes again, making His enemies His footstool as we march victoriously forward in Him!

Ro 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Is it easy? NO!

This verse makes it plain, we will suffer with Him.

Suffer? Not a popular word in this micro-wave, instant, version of Christianity…

Yet, His kingdom is love. Faith works by love. If we want power with God, we must love people, and sometimes people can be nasty.

Walking in purity, power, and purpose will run you and I cross wise of the worldly and religious agenda’s of people, and when this happens, people will minimally shun us, though often they treat us a whole lot worse than that, as we read of the atrocities perpetrated against Christians in China, Syria, Egypt, Pakistan, and India, to name a few nations in the news currently.

Some say, ‘You Christians hide out in your churches, and have do little to help with the real issues of the day’

Yes, we do go to church, for it is the vehicle God has prescribed to bless us, our communities, where training, equipping, encouragement, and empowerment occurs, but seen from heaven’s perspective, going to church is an issue of obedience:

Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

2Ch 5:13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

Ps 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

We go to church, to meet with the King! He is alive! He rules! He reigns! He speaks! He provides! He is Love!

Some forsake this blessing, thinking that they do not need this vehicle in their lives.
Foolishness! Pride and self-will, thinking that any of us know better than God Almighty!

Some neglect this grace and blessing, thinking that they can run their own lives, but know this: the prayers prayed by the church, and the Word of God decreed over your community, are being heard, answered, and backed up by heaven. If you are on the right side of that Word, you will find grace, mercy, and blessing.

I like this quote:

If you neglect it, you do so to your own peril, for the Word of God is a sword, and we either fall upon the rock, or the rock falls upon us.

Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Jesus is interested in a relationship with you, not a 45 minute date every Sunday morning. Make Him first in your life.

1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

And so we go, led of heaven. Living in love, bearing fruit that is out of this world…
