The First Nations Mandate:

sacred voice

Holy Ghost Mandate: If you get aggressively in the heart of God, seeking His face for revival, and for America, you are going to learn about Indians. Over the years, as I have sought His face for North America, I have discovered my answers lie in the host peoples of this land.

As I began to seek the will of the Lord for keys to unlock His power and glory to the United States, I began to get a burden to pray for the host peoples of this land. Many of you know my testimony, of the dramatic encounter with the Holy Spirit that occurred in Canada, in 1995 at an event entitled ‘Sacred Assembly’ hosted by Canadian senator Elijah Harper, where God met me, and made me into a molten puddle of tears, for 2-1/2 hours at the back of the room.

Elijah

From that moment to this, I have loved First Nations peoples .

In Richard Twiss book, ‘One Church, Many Tribes’, (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_11?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=richard+twiss&sprefix=Richard+Twi%2Caps%2C167)  there is an account of another man of God hearing the heart of God for the North American Indian mandate. I am convinced that if you really want to see America saved, see Jesus become Lord of the United States, you will find yourself in First Nations ministries, for IT IS THE PRIMARY MANDATE OF THE FATHER FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Maybe I did not make this plain enough: The Number One priority of Father God, Creator of Heaven and earth, for the United States of America, is His workings among the North American Indian tribes: It is the hour of His visitation and mandate.

I had two recent experiences that were very dramatic, in prayer.

The first, was at a Tulsa City Wide all night prayer watch, headed up by Dexter Sullivan. In this meeting, I experienced a great burden for the 39 Indian tribes of Oklahoma. During the prayer meeting, a microphone was opened to the participants, that we might share what the Lord was directing us to pray. I felt God was dispatching angels to minister to the tribes, and to raise them up to their place in Him, in honor and authority, before His throne. At the same time, a woman on the worship team collapsed in the Holy Spirit. Later in the meeting, she testified, that when I had given the word, dispatching angels to the 39 tribes of Oklahoma, she had a vision. She saw warriors, adorning themselves with war paint and regalia, as Indian warrior braves were known to do, before battle in the ancient days of their power and glory in this land. The Lord caused her to know that these warriors were real angelic hosts, actually dispatched at that time, to fight in the realm of the Spirit for the call and destiny before God, of the 39 Indian tribes of Oklahoma.

The Second, was as I was introduced to defilements upon the land, and how these defilements, gave legal right, to actual demonic spirits to operating in the realm of the Spirit, across this land we call the United States of America. More about this later…

Gibeonites and broken covenants

Read Joshua 9,10, and 1 Sam 21.

God Made a Covenant with the Gibeonites through Israel:

In Joshua chapter 9, we read the story of Joshua and the Gibeonites. You know it, how Joshua had been given the land, and was to destroy and annihilate every person living there. The Gibeonites knew they would die in battle, so to preserve their lives, they deceived Joshua, and appeared before him with moldy bread, and worn out sandals and wineskins.

Josh 9:14  And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD.

What God might have counseled Joshua and Israel at this time, is only conjecture. They did not seek God on what their relationship with the host peoples of the land should be, and we will never know what God would have instructed them to do here.

15 ¶  And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.

15 Joshua made peace with them. He made a treaty with them to protect their lives. The leaders of the community made a solemn pledge to them

15 So Joshua made peace with them by making a treaty which allowed them to live. The leaders of the congregation swore to it with an oath

v16  And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.

Joshua and the leaders of Israel entered into covenant with the Gibeonites, and God honored it!

no lie

When their deception was discovered, Joshua made them slaves, (or at least laborers, the Scripture calls them hewers of wood, and drawers of water) but did not kill them, for they had come under the protection of God’s covenant with Israel.

This was the TREATY between the Gibeonites and Israel.

In Joshua Chapter 10, we see the strength of this covenant or treaty:

Gibeon was a great city, but because she entered into covenant with Joshua and the children of Israel, she had problems with her neighbors.

Josh 10:4  Come up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.

5  Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.

6  And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.

7 ¶  So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valour.

8  And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.

Notice here that God honored the treaty, and sent Joshua to defend Gibeon.

9  Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.

10  And the LORD discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Bethhoron, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.

11  And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

Who sent the hailstones? ‘that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah,’

12  Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

13  And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

So the Gibeonites, came not only into covenant with Joshua, and under the military protection of the nation of Israel, but also under the protection of God, for God Himself fought at Gibeon, sending hailstones, and causing the sun to stand still in her protection, that enemies be destroyed.

God honors treaties and covenants!

Some have described the conquest of the North American Indian, as ‘manifest destiny’, that the season of their rule upon the land had ended: God had given the land to the white European settlers. “Indians are savages, pagans, worshipping idols and false gods they say, just like the Philistines and enemies of God in the Old Testament, they are to be annihilated.” was the speech and teaching of the day. Churches preached this devilish doctrine, citing Old Testament passages, of the Israelites marching into their promised land and destroying and annihilating the pagan inhabitants there, as the will of God for America. The Calvary was under divine mandate to march against the Indians, and to totally destroy them, for God had given the land to the American empire.

This is where we hear President’s and US Calvary generals making statements like: ‘The only good Indian, is a dead Indian.’ (http://www.onjinjinkta.com/NP/Discrimination/systematic-genocide.html)

History records posters, offering a $350 reward, for Indian scalps…

scalps bounty

Was this manifest destiny, as some have taught, or demonic genocide of an honorable people, who in many cases knew God, and who had prepared for generations for the coming gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ?

As I study the history, traditions, culture, and worship of the host peoples of America, I am convinced that it was genocide, an abomination in the sight of God, a complete and total violation of the gospel message and the kingdom of God.

Matt 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

God is love! The very word gospel means: GOOD NEWS!

Mark 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 ¶  So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20  And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

gospel

Lu 10:27  Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

1Co 9:22  To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

I do not see settlers and pilgrims coming to Indian tribes in general, in love, honor and respect, and performing the acts of Jesus, healing the sick, raising the dead, teaching all things He commanded.

Learning the traditions of the tribes, or doing as all good missionaries should: become one with the tribe, to discover the ways they lived, spoke, worshipped, the ways God already visited with them, then using these Holy Spirit visitations as entry points for the gospel, and the Word of God.

Some say, that God cannot speak to humanity until after they are born again, but

God spoke to Adam after he had fallen, and His cry is the same today: “Adam, where are you?”

Acts 2:17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh…

God is still the Creator, and is well able to speak to His creation!

Jesus came to seek and save the lost, not slaughter them….

Nope, pretty black and white what really happened.

Denominational ministers came in certain cases, and when any tribe did not comply immediately to their version of the gospel, they called the Calvary to come and slaughter anyone who did not immediately listen to them.

Okay Chris, you are an Indian lover, but really, I wasn’t there when all this happened, and neither were you, so why are you bringing this mess up again?

Remember our friends the Gibeonites?

They show up in the Bible again, and what happened to them directly applies to the plight of America, today.

God Withheld His Blessings over the Nation of Israel, because of their treatment of the Gibeonites.

2 Sam 21:1 ¶  Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.

Seems genocide is nothing new….

2  And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.)

So we see another religious zealot slaughtering innocent people….

3  Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

Notice here, that God was on the side of the Gibeonites here, and David knew it, and needed their blessing.

In the United States today, we are seeing the hand of God removed as America has yet to fully right her wrongs in her treatment of her host peoples. God is not judging America, we are simply reaping what we have sown.

Even so, I believe, there is authority, given by God to the host peoples of America, to forgive and bless… Let’s read on:

4  And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.

Justice was needed. Money would not fix it, and the Gibeonites had no authority to execute those who committed the atrocities…but David did…

gods side

5  And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel,

6  Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them.

Notice here that it took blood to atone for blood, for justice to be served here. Now, to my knowledge of these historical events, there is no account given of what part Saul’s son’s played in the genocide committed against the Gibeonites, perhaps they themselves rode in the armies that commanded the killings….

7  But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the LORD’S oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.

8  But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:

9  And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.

10 ¶  And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.

11  And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.

12  And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabeshgilead, which had stolen them from the street of Bethshan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa:

13  And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son; and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged.

14  And the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the sepulchre of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God was intreated for the land.

Let’s encapsulate the story and see how it applies to us today:

  1. There was a famine, drought in the land, that had lasted for three years.
  2. David cried out to God, to ask Him why?
  3. God spoke to David about the Gibeonites, a people supposedly under the protection of Israel.
  4. David discovers that Saul had gone into their villages and slaughtered their people, and GOD WAS UPHOLDING THEIR CAUSE.
  5. David asks what needed to be done, and no money could atone for the innocent blood of their families slain, blood was required.
  6. They required seven descendants of Saul to be killed, that the judgment of God against the nation might be lifted.
  7. David ordered it done.
  8. God was then entreated (heard and answered prayer) for the land. He healed their land.

Great story Chris, but what does this have to do with America?

Well, since 1492, when Columbus supposedly discovered America, white men were eventually ‘discovered’ upon Indian lands. From that day until this, there has been a trail of blood across this continent. Some was shed in battle, in the war of conquest, but much was shed through treachery, clearly genocide of great peoples, who had neither the weaponry to defend themselves, nor in most cases, the desire to war against these foreigners to their soils.

Historians also record multitudes died in what is known as ‘the great plagues’ that often exterminated entire tribes in a years time, that did not have the immune systems to fight these diseases. Yet, if you understand the very nature of sickness as a demonically inspired result of the fall of mankind, as one man of God stated: ‘Sickness is the foul offspring of mother sin and father satan’ then you see the death of the great indian races such a horrible tragedy in light of the gospel, for the gospel is supposed to be preached with a demonstration of the love and power of God in healing the sick, and demonstration of God’s miracles. Yet I digress…

The US Government, formed and wrote treaties with the host peoples of this land, for in almost every case, each tribe had either received the first American government, in peace, or in cases of war, terms of peace were carefully written by treaties.

These treaties were taken carefully before God, and GOD HIMSELF BORE WITNESS TO THEM, AND UPHELD THEM. In the courts of heaven, these treaties are eternal covenants written, and upheld by God between the United States government, and the host peoples of this land.

Even the language of the treaties was clear to both parties: “Each tribe or band shall have the right to posses, occupy, and use the reserve allotted to it, as long as grass shall grow and water run, and the reserves shall be their own property like their horses and cattle.”

Article 5 of the Treaty with the Comanches and Other Tribes and Bands, 12 August 1861

As in the case of the Gibeonites, where the US government has broken her part, God is now bearing witness to the treachery and genocide that occurred to First Nations peoples in the US, and this root, is what is causing much ugly fruit in US politics presently.

Let’s look at a couple of thoughts on how God views innocent bloodshed.

2Ki 24:4  And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.

Ps 106:38  And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Joel 3:19  Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

De 19:10  That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

Each tribe, has it’s own particular ‘trail of tears’ in their conquest by the US government. Please read ‘Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee’ by Dee Brown, to learn of some of these.

Truthfully, every treaty, ever written between any Indian tribe, and the US government, was systematically broken by the US government, and any Indian that rose up to discuss it, or who picked up arms to defend his land or family, was killed, without discussion, or anything remotely representing a legal trial. Even our great President Abraham Lincoln depicted above is no hero in native American history, just ask the Lakota Sioux about the Dakota 38, the largest public hanging in US history, of 38 natives accused of war crimes for defending their lands. There was no trial, simply capture of supposed killers, and a public hanging…

So much for freedom, liberty, and justice for all….

The Uneducated Savage?

It was said, ‘the uneducated savage’, could not understand the white man’s ways…

Though English, and white man’s law was new to the Indian, civilization was not. Five tribes had formed the Iroquois confederacy, in the year 1050, and governed this land we call America, according to ‘The Great Law of Peace’, until almost 1800. This ‘Great Law of peace” was passed down through the generations recorded on Wampum belts, carefully given to each generation, as the governing documents or constitution of the confederacy. This constitution was recited, and explained to the framers of the US Constitution (http://www.ratical.org/many_worlds/6Nations/) and is clearly the main line of thought that allowed the creation of our US Constitution.

iroquois founding fathers

During the Albany congress of July 1754, Benjamin Franklin said of the Iroquois confederacy: “It would be a strange thing.. if six nations of ignorant savages should be capable of forming such a union, and yet it has subsisted for ages and appears indissolvable, and yet like a union should be impractical for 10 or a dozen English colonies.”

The contribution of this was finally recognized by congress in 1988: https://www.senate.gov/reference/resources/pdf/hconres331.pdf

Yet, the long awaited gospel, came to the First Nations peoples, and in most cases, was received in love, respect, and great honor.

Please read of George Washington, the man that bullets could not kill:

Washington’s Commendation to the Delaware Indian Chiefs

While encamped on the banks of a river, Washington was approached by the Delaware Indian chiefs who desired that their youth be trained in American schools. Washington commended the chiefs for their decision, saying:

“You do well to wish to learn our arts and our ways of life and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ. These will make you a greater and happier people than you are. Congress will do everything they can to assist you in this wise intention.” [4]

Yet, though the heart of God was sure, from Columbus til now, to bring the good news of His Son Jesus to the host peoples of the United States, in general, greed, and lust for land and gold has corrupted the dealings of the US government with each and every tribe they interacted with.,

To understand more of God’s plan for America from it’s inception, please read: The Light and the Glory, by Peter Marshall and David Manuel, where it is clear, that God Himself has been speaking to Christopher Columbus for many years before he sailed about His plan for this nation we call the United States of America. In his journal entries, we clearly hear the heart of God for the host peoples of the land, that Columbus bring to them the gospel of Jesus Christ and teach them Christian ways. It is also clear from his entries, that he saw the great riches of this new land, and was corrupted by greed and lust for power, and committed many, many atrocities here, setting a precedent for conquistadors to follow…

Yet, we are talking about the United States government treatment of host peoples, not just Columbus.

The Cherokee Trail of Tears:

One of the most famous cases, of US government treachery, is what resulted in what is now known as the Cherokee ‘Trail of Tears’.

As you know, we have three branches of government here in the US, Executive, Judicial, and Legislative.

These three branches of government, or divisions of powers, were given to the framers of our constitution, directly from the Bible:

Isaiah 33: (NKJV)

22 (For the Lord is our Judge,

The Lord is our Lawgiver,

The Lord is our King;

He will save us);

In the case of the Cherokee, they had written a treaty with the US government in 1785.

Just like the Gibeonites, they had submitted to the government of the United States, AND the United States government had recognized that submission, and granted them a treaty, clearly delineating the lands and rights of the Cherokee in the eyes of the US.

Yet, a new nation was being formed, and a new state wanted their land…

By the 1820’s, Cherokee lands were invaded by citizens of Georgia, and the new found state of Georgia imposed its jurisdiction upon Cherokee lands and inhabitants.

The Cherokees tried many legal remedies to enforce their treaty rights, and in fact won their case against the state of Georgia, in the US Supreme court in 1832.

They now had judicial authority to protect their lands, but not enough military might to do so.

They appealed to the office of the President, to send military to protect and defend them, from Georgia trespassers upon their lands.

President Andrew Jackson, refused to do so. his chilling words: ‘They may have a supreme court decision, now let’s see them enforce it!’

Now the plight of the Cherokee remained in the vote of Congress, and to Congress their case went, holding it in session, for a full five days.

During this time, many impassioned speeches were made, but I quote only one:

Sacred Fire

council fire

Before the removal of the Cherokees (The trail of tears) there was heated debate in Congress. Senator Edward Everett of Massachusetts fought against the removal of the Cherokees, holding the house in session for two whole days, speaking on Cherokee affairs, sometimes with effective irony, On Feb 21st, 1831 he said:

‘Here, at the center of the nation, beneath the portals of the Capitol, let us solemnly auspicate the new era of violated promises, and tarnished faith. Let us kindle a grand council fire, not of treaties made and ratified, but of treaties annulled and broken. Let us send to our archives for the worthless parchments, and burn them in the face of day. There will be some yearnings of humanity as we perform this solemn act. They were negotiated for valuable considerations; we keep the considerations, and break the bond. One gave peace to our afflicted frontier, another protected our infant settlements; nearly all were at our earnest request. Many were negotiated under the instructions of Washington, of Adams, and of Jefferson-the fathers of our liberty. They are gone, and will not witness the spectacle; but our present Chief magistrate, as he lays them, one by one, on the fire, will see his own name subscribed to a goodly number of them. Sir, they ought to be destroyed as a warning to the Indians to make them no more compacts with us.’

John Ridge (Cherokee) and one of his colleagues sat in the gallery of the House and were deeply moved by Everett’s sonorous words reverberating through the chamber. ‘I happened to be a spectator of this debate,’ wrote the correspondent for The New York Observer. On the second day, towards the close of the long speech, he found it hard to “shield his heart” against the “subduing power” of Everett’s words. “Two of the Cherokees stood immediately behind me and over me. In the midst of Mr. Everett’s peroration, I thought I heard something like a drop of rain fall upon…my cloak, near my ear. I looked up, and the head of one of these Cherokees had fallen upon his hand, and he was endeavoring to conceal his tears.”

Excerpt from the book – The Cherokee Tragedy, – Thurmans Wilkins, p 220,221

Despite the just cause of the Cherokee, Congress voted as to whether or not the Cherokee were to be removed from, or protected on their homelands, and the vote went to the state of Georgia, by one vote.

So, we now had two branches of government, directly opposing one, and the result was a compromise of integrity of this nation, that still affects us today.

A Treaty had been made, and then broken by political treachery.

History records that the Cherokee were forcibly removed from their lands, and placed upon the ‘trail of tears’ where it is estimated that over 4000 Cherokees died. They were removed to supposed ‘Indian territory’ here in the state of Oklahoma, where they still reside today.

The great tragedy of the Cherokee, sets historic precedent on the dealings of the US government with North American Indian tribes. Between the years 1860-1890, each Indian tribe was betrayed in some fashion or another, and warriors who rose up to defend their families and lands were slaughtered, those that peacefully submitted were forcibly removed from their homes and lands, and placed upon reservations. Each tribe has its own particular ‘trail of tears’, as solemn oaths and covenants were systematically broken by the Federal government, and any disputes were not handled by rule of law as promised, but at the end of a gun barrel. Any Indian that dared challenge the Calvary, or arbitrary dealings of a treacherous government or Indian agent, was shot without trial, and in many cases, this still goes on today….

And God heard, saw, and watched it all….

Cain’s blood

Gen 4:8 ¶  And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

9 ¶  And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

10  And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

11  And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

12  When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

In this case, we see the first murder recorded in Scripture. Cain killed Abel, and God judged him for it, and this unjust bloodshed had a voice that God hears: ‘the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.’

Secondly, there were spiritual repercussions from this murder in the earth itself:

11  And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

12  When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength;

Notice, here, the earth itself is defiled by unjust bloodshed, and refuses to yield her produce…

 Martyrs before the throne

Rev 6:9 ¶  And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

As we study the history of the North American Indian, we discover many tribes had received Christ enmasse, and entered into Christian worship.

Yet, treacherous people, devoid of truth, or fear of the Lord, had them slaughtered.

One night as I was praying, I saw the throne of God, and heard a deep cry, from the throne of God:

‘How long until you avenge our blood?’

Suddenly, Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see before the throne, a great cloud of martyrs, and they were North American Indians!

In an instant, God caused me to know that these had kept their side of the treaty, the covenant between the US government and their tribe, but had been treacherously murdered for their lands…And they loved Jesus, and knew Him! They bear eternal witness to truth before the throne of God still….These are the voices of the ancestors, that still live before the throne of God…

That over the generations, millions of innocent, Christian, native Americans have been slaughtered, and though their spirits have left their bodies, they live, and stand before the throne of God, still crying out for justice in the earth.

In America today, that justice is being worked out…

Time does not heal wounds, only truth, the cross and blood of Jesus can do that.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

God is speaking to His church to fix this mess!

Today, Heaven is speaking loudly on behalf of the its host peoples, and I pray we have ears to hear, and eyes to see what our Father is doing at this time in the earth!

God speaks

What does all this look like spiritually?

In the earth:

Innocent bloodshed brings a curse to the land, part of the groanings heard in

Romans 8:22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Many elders and native people, feel the distress of the land, and many know it is the unjust bloodshed of their ancestors still crying out!

Gen 4:9 ¶  And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

10  And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

11  And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

12  When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

We in the traditional church, love to quote:

2 Chron 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will HEAL THEIR LAND.

Yet, we do not know what this looks like practically.

Does the land itself feel the weight of sin and injustice?

Clearly, YES!

(For More discussion on this, read my article: Redeeming the Land: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/07/03/redeeming-the-land/)

The truth is, there are four main categories of sin listed in the Word of God, that will defile the land.

Winkie Pratney states in his book Healing the Land, “Famine, ecological devastation, war, and disease are four prophetic voices designed to get our attention when our moral madness is full. What we do not want to acknowledge will not be overlooked – that we cannot get away with living as if God does not exist or as if He has nothing to say to us.”

Scripture teaches us that there are at least four major categories of sin and defilement, the result of fallen stewardship and disobedience.

  1. Idolatry (Ex. 20:3-5; Jer. 3:6-10, 16:18; Rom. 1:24-25)
  2. Immorality and Fornication (Lev. 18:1-25, 19:29; Rom. 1:24-25; Ezek. 16:25-27; Gal. 5:16-26: Col. 3:5-10)
  3. Bloodshed (Num. 35:33; Is. 59:2-3, Ps 106:38, Pr 6:17, 2Kings 24:4) – Includes the shedding of innocent blood (abortion) and slaughter of suppressed people groups.
  4. Broken Covenants (Is. 24:5-6; 1 Sam. 18:3-4, 1 Sam 21:1-14)

broken

Remember in the beginning, I said that I had two powerful experiences in the Holy Spirit, that affected my life? Well the second came as I was listening to my audio Bible, and I heard this verse:

Jas 4:3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss,

So we pray, and seek the Lord, and ask Him for mercy, to forgive our sins, and the sin of our nation, to heal our land, but are we asking accurately?

Jas 4:3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

How many people are willing to pray accurate prayers for the sake of truth, justice, and the manifest glory of God?

Or, do we simply pray, as my friend Billy Joe Daugherty once aptly quoted: ‘Just throw one up there” hoping we might hit something?

Try putting a pump action shotgun to your shoulder, and aim at nothing, and start blasting off rounds into the air. Sure you make a lot noise, and feel the recoil through your whole body, but did you hit anything? No!

Now, set a target out 100 yards, and find yourself a 30/30 deer rifle with a scope, correctly sighted in. Allow for windage, sight in, let out half a breath, remember to squeeze off your shot (not pull the trigger), and bam! Bulls Eye, every time!

Our prayer life is exactly like that. When we pray, we release power from heaven in the earth, to destroy evil and sin.

Yet, are we hitting the mark?

national prayer4

In the case of the groanings in the earth, I heard chief Anne Richardson state it this way:

“In a large measure our people can walk unto any piece of land and literally feel, and intuitively know what the land is feeling and saying, and intuitively know what caused it, and what must be done to heal it.”

Yet, we must read the preceding couple of verses in Romans 8 to understand this:

Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Those of us who know Jesus, have been adopted into the family of God, sons and daughters of the most High God. We are the ones, according to these verses that must deliver creation from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty we have as children of God. God is raising up ‘land warriors’ across America, many of whom are host peoples, to actively, aggressively break curses and shatter demonic destructions over land regions, literally cleansing the lands upon which we walk.

OK, so we see the problem: broken covenants and innocent bloodshed defile the land, and cause God to withhold His blessings from our nation. Now, we need to look at what it takes to fix this, spiritually.

God calls men everywhere to repent!

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Broken Covenants – Now what?

The treaties have all been broken. Millions have been murdered in unjust bloodshed. The lands have been taken, either by conquest or treachery, and the white man now rules, by the law of piracy: dead men tell no tales…

Or do they? Before God, we never die, and clearly our ancestors still live.

Yes, we are all going to live forever, the question is where: Heaven or Hell? Justice will be served, either in this life or the next. We either do business with God now, or we will most surely upon the moment of our death for  Jesus is Lord of Heaven and of earth.

2Co 5:8  We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

So what must be done?

Well, some time ago, my wife and I experienced marital difficulties. Seemed we could not get along, and no matter what she did, I just wanted out of the relationship, I just wanted out! Seemed nothing I could do was good enough for her, so we went and met with a couple of pastors at the church where we attended.

As we got into the ‘He said, she said’ painful dialogue, one of the pastors said boldly: ‘Stop it!, the way I see you two is that you have erected a wall about 20 feet high between you two, and all you are doing is throwing rocks over the wall at each other! What I want you to consider is this: I’m not saying that there are not serious problems in your marriage and in your home, but can you simply forgive each other, and come over to the same side of the wall, and look at it together? Fight the problems, not each other!”

The lights went on in me. My wife is not my enemy, and pain makes a lousy Lord. Unforgiveness, offense, and bitterness are like drinking poison, and hoping our enemy will die! We must forgive, Jesus commands it!

Mt 6:15  But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

If we want forgiveness from God, we must forgive. Period.

In the case of broken covenants, and treaties, we must recognize past injustices and begin to attack the problems, not each other…

It is all about the cross of Jesus, the only place we discover true victory and justice in this life: ONLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS CAN FORGIVE SIN AND REMOVE CURSES.

Remember our friends the Gibeonites?

Only the blood of Saul’s sons could provide the justice and atonement needed to heal the land. Likewise, only the cross and blood of Jesus can forgive and remove judgments from this nation.

The message of the cross, must be mixed with faith, in a very living, and active God in this: For the sinner, or oppressor in a historic, or temporal setting, they must see the truth of God’s holiness, and fear Him enough to ask forgiveness, and let those they are oppressing go free. This takes faith, when much money is being generated from their labor and oppression. They must believe the 1. What they are doing is wrong AND 2. That God is love, and well able to supply and provide for them more than they give up monetarily through their oppression. This has been done with words, by the US government…https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/07/07/us-government-apology-to-natives/, yet whether they will take responsibility for their deeds is another question..

talk

Like wise, for the oppressed. When their cries reach heaven, and God moves in power to deliver them from the hands of their oppressors, they must forgive their enemies, but with understanding that when they obey God and forgive their enemies, that He, the Creator of Heaven and earth, is well able to create, provide, and bless them, far greater, than what was stolen and robbed from them.  My friend Quincy AfraidofLightning is right, grace is the gospel, Grace being the power of God made available to any person, anyway, that will look to Jesus, to receive His power, love, and creativity, wisdom, restoration, to literally recreate a new and beautiful way for anyone, anywhere that will believe.

Remember the Gibeonites?

They were mentioned again in Scripture, after God had judged Israel for breaking His covenant with Him. God called everyone together to renew the covenant. Seems idolatry and sin against God is nothing new.

Let’s look at it:

Deut 29:10 Ye stand this day all of you before the Lord your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel, 11 your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water: 12 that thou shouldest enter into covenant with the Lord thy God, and into his oath, which the Lord thy God maketh with thee this day: 13 that he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; 15 but with him that standeth here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: 1

Notice in this passage that God the Creator, Himself, came down to renew the covenant and He clearly recognized and included the Gibeonites. Today, God has no grandchildren, only children, and He gives no race, language or skin color preferential treatment before His throne. We have all sinned, gone our own way, and can only come to Him humbly, seeking mercy and forgiveness, through the blood of Jesus.

Isaiah 53:All we like sheep have gone astray;

We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all

Native American

In the case of the Indian, we cannot remain bitter, hating all white men. Just as all Indians are not perfect, neither are all white men. Forgive, and you go free…Look to our Creator for justice, and let Him deal with the government! He will supply, bless, and move on your behalf, He cannot lie!

At his time in US History, God is again visiting His people and renewing His covenant through Jesus shed blood. There is a major difference between the account of the Gibeonites, and what God is doing presently. In this historic account, the Gibeonites were in covenant with God, only through Israel. Now, He has now second class citizens, only royal children adopted into His family, through Jesus shed blood. Seeing ourselves as he sees us, and moving in His power and authority.. Here are a couple of articles I wrote on this:

Who we are:

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Ephesians 1:5 [Full Chapter]

having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will..
to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Yet Forgive in faith recognizing that when we come to our Creator in faith, giving Him our broken Hearts, dreams and promises HE AGGRESSIVELY GETS INVOLVED TO RECREATE A BETTER FUTURE FOR US AND OUR PEOPLE!

Refuse to remain bitter or oppressed.

Learn your language, honor your elders, help your tribe heal.

Get educated, and become a force for good in this nation that cannot be stopped, because God is with you!

Warriors

warriors

There is a call to war being issued to you and your people from heaven. In certain cases this will be walked out in military service, but the ultimate call is to hear the voice of our Father in Heaven, and to do like Jesus does, in taking the battle to the real enemy, the demonic spirits that influence and control the minds and souls of men. Please read this and determine to rise up and fight for your people and this nation. When Jesus closest friend, John the Baptist was beheaded, He took the fight to the demonic spirits that caused his death, not in earthly military action.

White Man

Wake up! America is in great peril! Repent! Learn, and understand the foolishness of our historic Indian policy, and begin to pray, fervently, for God to open your eyes to the plight, culture, and condition of the red man. Truthfully, how many prayer meetings have you ever attended, that even mentioned Indians, or Indian issues? This will not go away, time will not heal it, prayer, true repentance, and the blood of Jesus will.

cross1

If you love America, fess up where we have messed up, and educate yourself to the culture, rich tribal history and traditions of whatever host peoples are around you.

Ask Holy Spirit for ways to reconcile…to be involved in restitution wherever possible.matthew Henry

Educate yourself and get involved with reconciliation, restitution and healing and understanding, wherever possible.

With the Navajo, the Lord directed us to donate 100 peach trees to the tribe as a peace offering for what happened when the Calvary burned their beloved peach orchards under Kit Carson in canyon des Chelley in 1864, and made over 8000 people walk over 800 miles through the snow, in what is now called ‘the long walk of the Navajo’. Over 4000 died on this journey.

Warriors heal warriors. While this was being planned, combat veterans asked to get involved, claiming this is not the freedom, liberty, and justice for all that I fought to defend. One man said, ‘all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, warriors heal warriors’ He then asked for forgiveness for what the military did to their people. He and a marine then presented a medal received in operation Desert Storm, and a Marine Corps K-bar(combat knife) as honor gifts to the tribe, and we worked to plant a garden of reconciliation together. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/04/26/navajo-ministry-report/

On July 11th, 2014 we had a flag-raising ceremony with Navajo president Ben Shelley:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5pO_8gzR6s. This was part of the Gathering of Tribal Nations where I understand 57 indian tribes were in attendance.

Here is the story of how and why the cedar stage and amphitheatre was donated and constructed in Window Rock, AZ, across from the Sports Complex.

The strength of America is its commitment to truth and honor…Freedom has never been free, but where we mess up, we correct ourselves and heal. This is what honor does, this is the heart of America.

Ii heard a man on the radio say this: The wisdom of the ages is simply this: find out what God is doing in this generation and then partner with Him to get it done.

There are many great people here, we can fix this…

The Land

Most First Nations leaders intimately understand the land…

Please read: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/07/03/redeeming-the-land/

The Blessing

blessing

The Blessing of Abraham is still working!

Ge 32:12  And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

Deut 1:11  (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)

Hosea1:10  Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

In these verses, we see the promise God made to Abraham, manifesting down the corridor of time…Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Hosea echos the same promise, being fulfilled through the seed of Abraham, Israel, the Jewish people.

Yet Jesus came, born of a Jewish lineage, fulfillment of the seed of Abraham, the promised Messiah. He fulfilled the prophecies, and He died upon the cross, as Isaiah said he would suffer. Yet, He rose from the dead! He’s alive! He ascended into heaven, where He sits at the right hand of Elohim, God our Father.

And so we are commanded to believe, to become adopted into the family of God, sons of the living God…

Ga 3:7  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Ga 3:8  And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Ga 3:9  So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

No longer is the covenant only to the Jew, but God, in His infinite mercy, has opened it to us Gentiles too! We can now worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, only through the shed blood of Yeshua! Jesus has made a way, for He is the way, the truth and the life!

Ga 3:14  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Ga 3:16  Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Ga 3:18  For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

Ga 3:29  And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

It is by faith that we are saved, not by works. If you believe in Jesus as your Lord, Savior, and redeemer, you shall be saved, and the blessing of Abraham is working in your life.

We are blessed, and called of heaven to establish His blessing in the earth: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/03/12/recreating-eden/

Take Away!

This discussion is not yet complete until we take something away from it!

The Word of God is alive, and so are you and I.

The Question is: What are we to do with what we just learned?

Here are some thoughts:

  1. Begin to seek the heart of our Father, for His heart with respect to the host peoples of this land.
  2. Add the names of the Indian tribes in your area, to your daily prayer list.
  3. Begin to include Indians in corporate prayer.
  4. Ask Holy Spirit for what He would have you to do to heal your land.
  5. Study, treaties, covenants, history, of the host peoples in your area.
  6. Go, and learn from them, and ask to pray with them.
  7. Guard your heart against bitterness, offense, and deliberately take the pain of what you are discovering to the heart of the Father in prayer.
  8. Pray for the bureau of Indian affairs.
  9. Pray for the tribal councils, chiefs, and elders in your area.
  10. Organize events of reconciliation based upon what you have learned.
  11. Always tell the story of Jesus, He is still the answer, and only His power and wisdom can fix this…
  12. Tell others what you are learning, educate the next generation….

Give in faith!

1 Corinthians 9:11 If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits?

1 Corinthians 9:14 [On the same principle] the Lord directed that those who publish the good news (the Gospel) should live (get their maintenance) by the Gospel.

Paul goes on to say, that he did not use his position as a minister of the gospel to take up offerings, rather he worked, making tents, to support himself. You might notice here, that Paul was not married, nor did he have children. Family responsibilities take time, and just as you bust a move on your job to provide for your family, I work every bit as hard, doing this, faithful to the Lord in prayer and the ministry of His Word, to you.

I will never charge for this: it my responsibility to God, my calling. Freely I have been given, now, I freely give…

As you give, hear Holy Spirit what to give, and honestly expect God to reward you for your giving.

Matt 10: 41 He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.

I am a five-fold ministry gift and office – this is my life – I pray, I hear, I write, and wonderful things happen. You have your job description, I have mine – this is mine….

I have ‘see through’ faith for you, in this: Gal 3: 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

I believe I have a responsibility before God to be like Jesus, in every offering I receive. I receive it with thanksgiving, just like Jesus did the little boys lunch.

Then, because I walk and live by faith according to the blessing of Abraham, I believe that God will take your seed sown, and multiply it, according to what the blessing of Abraham promises:

Genesis 22:17 In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies

It has been a joy to me, to see the hand of the living God act in the lives of those of you who have supported us this year!

Many have seen tremendous blessing come into your households, and for this we give thanks, and give Jesus all the glory!

Heal our Land! – Natives Know How!

Heal our land!

Isa 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed

Recently I read:
Hosea 4:1 ¶ Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land., 2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

We see in these verses, the controversy, God, our Creator, the Great One, has with the people of the land.

These verses clearly show, that when people of a region or nation sin, that the land itself is defiled, that the earth, the creation, feels the weight of this sin, and that wildlife dies.
negiel
As I have walked with First Nations leaders over the past several decades, I have discovered a thing that until recently, I never heard put into words. I have been graciously invited, by Dr. Negiel Bigpond to participate in the monthly conference calls with the Native American Circle of Prayer. Each month, Dr. Negiel has a chief or spiritual leader share their hearts, on what God is showing them.

chief-anne
One month, we had the privilege of hearing chief Anne Richardson the Chief of the Rappahannock Tribe. She made a statement, that I hope I can correctly encapsulate here:

‘Our people have always been close to the land. It seems that we have and innate ability to see, to feel, to sense spiritually what is going on in the earth, and we often see, sense, and intuitively know things by the Holy Spirit, that are not readily apparent to peoples of other cultures.’

Her words are born out in Scripture:
Ro 8: 19 (AMP)For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].
20 For the creation (nature) was subjected to [i]frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope
21 That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children.
22 We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now.

There is a groaning in the earth from the weight of sin, and we the church, from every tongue, tribe and nation, are what the earth is longing for, to heal it.
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
In First Nations tradition, there is a very famous prophecy, known as the Seven Generation prophecy, or the chief Crazy Horse prophecy. (http://ancientprophecyrevealed.blogspot.com/…/crazy-horse-n…)
For the record, I quote it here:
crazy horse
Crazy Horse had a vision he shared with sitting bull during a pipe ceremony just days before he was murdered. He said, “Upon suffering beyond suffering, the red nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for the sick world. A world filed with broken promises, selfishness and separations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of seven generations, when all the colors of mankind will gather under the sacred tree of life and the whole earth will become one circle again. In that day, those among the Lakota who will carry knowledge and understanding of unity among all living things, and the young white ones will come, to those of my people to ask for wisdom. I salute the light within their eyes where the whole universe dwells, for when you are at the center within you and I am at the at place within me, we are as one.” – Crazy Horse from James Medicine Tree

I believe he accurately heard God, that the tree of life, is the cross of Jesus Christ. For a full teaching on this, read Rick Joyner (http://www.morningstarministries.org/…/there-were-two-trees…).

Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
There is another prophecy, passed down through the generations, by the Cree people:

“When all the trees have been cut down,
when all the animals have been hunted,
when all the waters are polluted,
when all the air is unsafe to breathe,
only then will you discover you cannot eat money.”
― Cree Prophecy

In 1968, in Oklahoma City, I have been told that Billy Graham, spoke the following words:
‘The great move of the Holy Spirit that we all seek in the United States, will not come until First Nations leaders are correctly respected, honored, and embraced into the kingdom of God, in their particular places.’

This is in keeping with the very famous verse we all preach as we seek revival:
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Seems that because of sin, the land itself needs to be healed.

I am also finding, that what we don’t know, we don’t know.

We know to ask God’s forgiveness for sin, that the cross is the only solution for evil, and that the gospel is the power of God, unto salvation.

What we don’t know, is that when we alienate, one part of the Body of Christ, we all hurt.
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
1Co 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
1Co 12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

Read 1 Cor 12, we all need each other, and we all need to be in our place.

Re 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Clearly this includes Indian tribes, in their language, representing their nations.

Indian tribes must come to the throne of God, in their tongue, from their tribe, from their nation, in order for this verse to be fulfilled, and it will.

I believe that as they come, they will bring their gifts with them, and both the white man and Indian prophecies will be fulfilled.
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
Lu 11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Re 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

There are ‘spiritual keys’ of knowledge, that will unlock blessings from heaven, and I believe we need what First Nations peoples bring to the table. They have a Holy Spirit inspired voice, that will come from the wind, the sky, the flight of the eagle in the air, and IT WILL LINE UP WITH THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD!

It will be outside of our traditions, our cultural interpretations of the Scripture, but it will be a spirit of truth, and it will be borne out in the written Word of God.

Here are some more verses on the need for the land to be healed:

Ps 106:38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Joe 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

Is 24: 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Sounds like abortion, genocide, and atrocities, and sin, literally defile the land.

Yet, we are the sons and daughters of God for which all creation awaits!
royal
Walking in faith, authority, anointing, humility, wisdom, and filled with the Holy Spirit now, we exercise redemptive rights, and release authority, through repentance and forgiveness.

Jesus gives an interesting commission here to disciples:
John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

My friend, mentor and adopted dad, Hank Hallas has a wonderful revelation of who we are in Christ, and as he goes to India, conducts a ceremony on lands owned by churches or church members. It goes like this:

He walks to each corner of the land, and prays: ‘Father, I ask that you would forgive every sin ever committed upon this land, all the way back to the time of Adam, and I declare they are forgiven, in Jesus name! I plead and apply the blood of Jesus here, and call this land into the kingdom of God, redeemed. I pronounce the blessing of Almighty God upon this land and owners home, and break any demonic activity present here, enforcing your kingdom Father, in righteousness (love), peace and joy, in you, mighty Holy Spirit.’
communion
At each corner of the land he takes bread, juice (communion elements), and oil (symbolic of the Holy Spirit), and buries them at each corner, as a prophetic act that this property is blessed.

Remarkable testimonies have occurred. Households healed. Diseases stopped. Allergies end. Crops and animals supernaturally produce abundant harvests. Financial prosperity released. Nightmares stop, and people receiving restful sleep, peaceful dreams, and visions of Jesus and His kingdom. Areas where Hindus and Muslims been burning churches, buildings and properties supernaturally protected in the midst of violence and mayhem, supernaturally, by the power of God!
bill-winston

Bill Winston ministered here at Victory on something similar. Reportedly, a senior in his congregation was troubled by a group of drug dealers and gangsters that sold drugs on the sidewalk in front of her house. She sought the Lord, and her pastor (Bill), for what to do. By the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, he felt impressed to tell her, to get a bottle of oil, and pour it out, a line down the middle of her street. She did, and pled the blood of Jesus over her property and street. Next morning, as usual, the gangsters and drug dealers showed up again, and immediately entered into a heated argument. They dispersed, and have never again returned to this woman’s house!

We lived in North Tulsa for eight years. I did this on our property, and we never had a break in, nor has there ever been violence or a problem at my home, though we lived in what is considered to be a rough neighborhood. You can have peace in your home, too!
Lets pray
Let’s Pray:
‘Father, I ask that you would forgive every sin that has ever been committed on my property, all that way back to the time of Adam. I plead and apply the blood of Jesus here, and I bless this property, and call it redeemed back into the kingdom of God, now, in the name and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. I declare the kingdom of God in force and in place here, in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name! Father, open my eyes to see other people in your kingdom that may not walk with You exactly the same as I do. May I hear Your voice in them, and receive them in their culture, language, and worship, seeking Your always for truth, at all costs. Please Father, open my heart to receive keys of knowledge from You, and them, that together, we might heal our lands. Amen’

Seven Things I Pray President Obama Do Before he leaves office

If I were to suggest President Obama do 7 things before he leave office, this would be my list:

Obama praying

  1. Repent. While He holds the office of the President of the United States, there is a higher office than this, to which he will give an account. Jesus is Lord of Heaven and earth, and each of us, will one day appear before Him, and give an account of how we lived our life. Some time ago, I mentioned that we used to bring some people from a government housing project to a monthly Christian businessman’s fellowship that met in the top of a nice condominium building, in the penthouse suite. It was the highest and nicest place in the building. My definition of repent then, is to return to the high place, the place of privilege and honor.  https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/04/24/whatever-happened-to-sin/

The Bible says that Jesus

raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV)

Our position in Christ is one of royal privilege before the throne of God, the judge of all the universe. Though Jesus shed blood, we have been given access to mercy and the throne, where the Holy One who inhabits eternity lives. His Word is His will, and where we have sinned and failed to perform His Word, we can ask for, and receive mercy from Him, in this life.

The first thing I would do, today, is ask for God’s forgiveness for every unholy act and decision he has committed, then for strength, to admit his wrongs, and to boldly act and to correct what the Scripture clearly says is wrong.

Some of this needs to be done privately before God, but decisions made publically, need to be repented of publically.

I think of Pilate, that had Jesus crucified, though he knew He was innocent. Jesus told him that Pilate only had authority because it was given to him by God in heaven.

Yet, one day, Pilate died, and in that moment, appeared before the risen Christ. Now he was on trial, for his eternal judgement. In that moment, all that Jesus could do, is sentence him to hell like Judas, for he did not find mercy…

What is the difference between Saul, Judas, Pilate AND David or Peter.

All sinned against God.

The only difference is, David and Peter recognized their sins were against God Himself, and they did business with Him and cried out to God for mercy, and despite the horrible consequences that came to David and his family because of his sin, was declared before God to be a man after his own heart.

Repentance

Acts 13: (NKJV)

22 And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David[a] the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will

David was a liar, committed genocide, treason, stole holy things, committed adultery, murder, and had multiple wives.

Yet God forgave him it all and at the end of his life, he was considered a man after God’s own heart.

Before President Obama was re-elected, I asked the Lord why?

According to the word of God, abortion is wrong. Homosexuality is wrong. Islam is wrong, yet the Scripture states that rulers are set in place by God Himself according to Romans 13:1-5.

I believe I heard the voice of God speak to me that Proverbs 21:1

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes

That though God did not agree with these things, that “He was going to turn the heart of President Obama, and that he would do great good for the kingdom of God, and the United States before he left office.”

I am still praying that for President Obama. That he would sell out for Jesus, whole heartedly, renounce Islam, abortion, homosexuality, and would publically stand boldly for Jesus, God’s kingdom, and would call this nation back to God.

2. That He would publically proclaim the gospel and stand fully for Jesus and the Bible. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/11/10/the-gospel-the-power-of-god/

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/10/08/righteousness-exalts-a-nation/

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2013/12/01/prayer-for-secret-societies/
3That he would call a meeting of first nations peoples, and publically read the apology he signed in 2009 by the US government to natives for historical atrocities committed there. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/07/07/us-government-apology-to-natives/

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/07/03/the-first-nations-mandate/

4.That he would publically oppose institutionalized racism, and would implement a task force to both identify and eliminate it.

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/01/25/using-racial-privilege-to-promote-the-kingdom-of-god/

5.That he would denounce abortion completely, and make it a criminal offence. That he would help educate and provide adoption services to un-wed mom’s. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2015/08/05/gods-opinion-of-abortion/

6.That he would call homosexuality what it is, sin. According to God, all sex outside of the bounds of marriage between and man and a woman is also sin.  Just because two people have strong feelings for one another, and the sexual plumbing is working fine, does not make sex legitimate in the sight of a holy God. Passion and lust never satisfy the deeper needs of the human heart, Jesus promises that His living waters will. Just ask the woman at the well. Married tour times, living with her fifth man, yet not satisfied. John 4.

7. That He call a time of 3 days of fasting and public humiliation and prayer, for God to come and meet with us, that He might forgive us individually and as a nation, and heal our land. https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2013/09/22/heal-our-land/

President Lincoln did a one day fast to stop the cival war:http://www.historyplace.com/lincoln/proc-3.htm

These are my 7 things I believe would glorify God, and bring deep healing and cleansing to the United States of America.

What do you think?

God’s Opinion of Abortion

God’s opinion of abortion:

There is one true and living God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob…

He is a jealous God of all life, and He is holy.

He can only be approached through the holy blood of Jesus Christ, God the Son, the only way, truth and life.

Yet, people have departed from Him, and sought their own ways, not knowing that in their ignorance, they sacrifice to demons.

This is literally what abortion is, the sacrifice our own children, upon a demonic alter….

abortion sacrifice

It is nothing new, for these demons have always required human sacrifice, for the very nature of satan Himself is to kill, steal and destroy.

Ezekiel 20:31

For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord God, I will not be enquired of by you.

In the worship of Molech, people took their firstborn, killed it, and offered it on an alter of demonic worship.

And so God said, through the prophet Ezekial…

Ezekiel 16:21

that thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?

God hates it!

abortion

So do I!

While I weep for the broken, messed up women who have been duped into killing their own children, I hate what was done…

And so I weep and pray:

“Jesus, have mercy upon America, and open the eyes of this nation with clarity, to what is being done in abortion, in the actual worship of demonic spirits in this uncleanness…turn us back to you, the one true and living Lord, Amen!”

What Does God call a man? Pastor Sunday Adelaja

ARTICLE 28
WHO DOES GOD CALL A MAN?
By Pastor Sunday Adelaja.

“Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. So truth fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; and His own righteousness, it sustained Him.” Isaiah 59:14-16

A careful examination of this scripture, would reveal to us something quite alarming. Out of all the millions of people in the world, at the time when prophet Isaiah penned down these words, God himself confessed not to have identified a man. In verse 16a of that scripture, it says “He saw that there was no man…”

What? Did he say there was no man? Out of all the people in the whole wide world? No man? Relating this scripture to our time today, that is like saying, of the over seven billion people alive today, God comes around and complains, He can’t find a man. What a paradox that would seem to us. Alas! As I write these words however, I could hear the burden and the cry in the heart of God Almighty, that the same need persists today. EVEN GOD HAS A NEED.

Can God be frustrated about anything? Well, if this is not frustration I am seeing here, then I don’t know what it is. Could it be that even to this same present time, the maker of heaven and earth is frustrated that he can’t find enough men to take care of business on the earth?

What frustrated God so bad to make him scream that he can’t find a man? A return to that passage would give us a glimpse.

God is frustrated by the following factors. Whenever these factors are present in any given society, God is angry, frustrated, irritated and grieved. His frustration is mainly directed at men. Men who he had charged with the mandate to manage the earth for him. Men who are now so much preoccupied with their own day to day survival. Men that have neglected his instructions and injunction, to rule and reign on earth, on behalf of God. This cannot but frustrate even God himself.

“To sin by silence, when they should protest, makes cowards of men.” ― Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Below I will enumerate the factors that causes grievances in the heart of the master:

1. Whenever justice to ordinary men, widows. Orphans, poor, disadvantaged and the general mass is delayed or denied, that leads to God’s frustration. At a time like that, God laments, WHERE IS A MAN?

“If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine.” ― Che Guevara

Justice is the foundation of any society. When that falls nothing else stands. Men of honor, men of God in a healthy society, stand in defense of justice. Men who know God and his heart, would not hide behind their pulpit when justice is been ridiculed in their society. Men after the heart of God, become the moral conscience, the guidance and custodians of justice, not simply in the security of the four walls of their church. No! They extend that wall to the wider society.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

2. The next thing that frustrates the heart of God, is lack of judgment: when judgment turns backwards instead of going forward, when there is no advancement in righteous judgment, it grieves the heart of God. Judgment does not necessarily relate to the judiciary system.

“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” ― Benjamin Franklin

Judgment refers to a sound mind. When there is no sound mind in a society, people in that society don’t think straight. They are perverted in their thoughts. They are compromised in their judgment. Their thinking and their decisions, don’t always follow the natural flow of logic, because the society and the culture of the land has polluted the minds of ordinary people.

One of the dictionary meanings of judgment is the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions. This only happens in a society where the value systems have been compromised. When that happens, God is frustrated.

“For there is but one essential justice which cements society, and one law which establishes this justice. This law is right reason, which is the true rule of all commandments and prohibitions. Whoever neglects this law, whether written or unwritten, is necessarily unjust and wicked.” ― Marcus Tullius Cicero.

3. The next thing that grieves the heart of the lord is when truth is ridiculed: When God doesn’t see men who stand in defense of the truth. When men allow other people to ridicule, laugh and jeer at the truth, that cannot but bring sorrow to the heart of God.

“Let the first act of every morning be to make the following resolve for the day:
– I shall not fear anyone on Earth.
– I shall fear only God.
– I shall not bear ill will toward anyone.
– I shall not submit to injustice from anyone.
– I shall conquer untruth by truth. And in resisting untruth, I shall put up with all suffering.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

The state of Israel at the state of Isaiah’s writing is that truth was not only ridiculed, truth had fallen in the streets. Meaning, truth had become like a football, that is kicked and tossed around by passersby. That grieves God’s heart.

“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn,

4. The next thing that breaks the heart of God and makes him to cry out of frustration for his men and their whereabouts is when equity has been squeezed out of the public square.

What is equity? It is the quality of citizens of a given society to relate to each other in fairness and impartiality. When fairness disappears from the public discuss of any nation, when partiality replaces impartiality, God begins to look for men – His men.

“There is a difference between what is wrong and what is evil. Evil is committed when clarity is taken away from what is clearly wrong, allowing wrong to be seen as less wrong, excusable, right, or an obligatory commandment of the Lord God Almighty .Evil is bad sold as good, wrong sold as right, injustice sold as justice. Like the coat of a virus, a thin veil of right can disguise enormous wrong and confer an ability to infect others.” ― John Hartung

In those societies where there are worthy men and women of God, not necessarily preachers or religious men, but men that know the ways of God, they stand up against the collapse of equity in their land. Those who are men in God’s eyes would live and die for the promotion of equity, fairness and impartiality.

When a society begins to lack such men, that is the kind of thing that brings sorrow to the heart of our King.

5. In any society where it is dangerous not to practice evil like others, it means, men after God’s heart have disappeared from the land. At the time of Isaiah’s writing, things had gotten so bad that according to him “ he that departs from evil makes himself a prey” it was so unpopular to stand for what is right that people will not just mock and ridicule those who strive to live right, they would actually go to the extent of taking advantage of them, punish them, prosecute them and make a prey of them

“A true revolution of values will soon cause us to question the fairness and justice of many of our past and present policies. … A true revolution of values will soon look uneasily on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth. With righteous indignation, it will look across the seas and see individual capitalists of the West investing huge sums of money in Asia, Africa, and South America, only to take the profits out with no concern for the social betterment of the countries, and say, “This is not just.” It will look at our alliance with the landed gentry of South America and say, “This is not just.” The Western arrogance of feeling that it has everything to teach others and nothing to learn from them is not just.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

My dear readers, is your society getting to that place? Can you hear the clarion call from heaven, telling you to arise and be the man God is looking for?

6. At the height of God’s disillusionment though, is the fact that “… He saw that there was no man” how come there are millions of people in a country, billions of people in the world and God says there is no man?

Friends, are you a man according to Gods definition? Have you ever placed yourself under God’s microscopic eyes? Have you examined yourself according to his standards of judgment? Does he call you a man? Is he satisfied with you or could it be that God looks at you and fails to see a man, only a bunch of flesh, Full of self, and missing out on the purpose for his or her creation? What does God see, think and feel when he looks at you? “… He saw that there was no man”

Ladies and gentlemen, have you ever thought about what could be God’s heartbeat? What gets him excited? What frustrates him? Today we are examining one of the major points of frustrations to God. Often, we tend to think that God doesn’t struggle with mundane things like frustrations and anger. But here he comes out plain to us, that one of his major points of frustrations is WHEN THERE IS NO MAN.

When men and women who God has created to make a difference in the world, abandon the mandate for their lives and instead begin to pursue all nonentities of life, God cannot but be frustrated. Each and every one of us was created to carry out justice, judgment, truth and equity on the earth. It could be in different spheres of life, in various professions or in diverse gifting. But the mandate is clear, his nature must be reflected on the earth. If he is a God of justice, people must see his justice on earth. If he is a God of sound judgment, that sound mind must be revealed in people who identify themselves with him on daily basis. If God is truth, that truth must reign supreme on the earth even as he reigns over the universe. If fairness, impartiality, equity, are his essence, that should become dominant in any society.

“Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events. It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” ― Robert F. Kennedy

If these things are not ruling and reigning in a community, it means he is not there. It doesn’t matter that we claim to belong to him, it doesn’t actually matter what we claim, if it is not been reflected, if his nature is not been manifested, let’s face it friends, He is not there. If we claim to know Him, let’s reveal Him. If we say we are his servants, let’s carry Him.

“As long as there is one person suffering an injustice; as long as one person is forced to bear an unnecessary sorrow; as long as one person is subject to an undeserved pain, the worship of a God is a demoralizing humiliation.
As long as there is one mistake in the universe; as long as one wrong is permitted to exist; as long as there is hatred and antagonism among mankind, the existence of a God is a moral impossibility.
Ingersoll said: ‘Injustice upon earth renders the justice of heaven impossible.” ― Joseph Lewis,

I think it should begin to become easier to understand God’s frustration at man “… and he saw that there was no man” I can only imagine how frustrating that could be. After spending all of his resources to create all of us, not just one or two people, but in millions and billions and yet, not to find anyone stand tall when you most need him. Yea, you can’t say there is a man when there is no man.

Is any one of us reading this, asking himself the question, how he could get himself back to the heartbeat of God? Is anyone asking what he or she could do, to begin to carry the concerns of God? Is anyone seeking to please the master again? Can I hear anyone crying out saying, tell me what to do. What can I do? I must see a change in myself and in my community.

Are you now taking a decision, making plans, strategizing, to begin to proclaim and establish justice in your world? Can you see the pictures before you on how to intervene on behalf of the oppressed? Are you thinking of what to do to the disenfranchised of your society? Do you notice the abused of your society? Can you see the afflicted that are crying for that justice every day? What of those who are been maltreated on daily basis, do you think they need that justice? Did you see any of those who are downtrodden, would that justice help them? Anyone oppressed and suppressed around you, can you serve them justice?

Ladies and gentlemen, lack of sound mind and judgment – the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions, is a matter of frustration and disillusionment to God. If God is saying he doesn’t have men to pursue and establish these, are you not thinking that He is referring to you? Is it not clear now that he is not just addressing the preachers? Can’t you hear his voice that he is obviously talking to you to do something about it?

Can you start a movement in your land that will encourage men and women to begin to think, to begin to make sound judgment and informed decisions? Will you bring illumination to your people? Will you facilitate understanding amidst those whom you live with? The earth is crying for people who make sound judgment and informed decisions.

If God is so concerned about the state of truth in any society, I think that should begin to concern us as well. When was the last time your heart was troubled that truth is been ridiculed where you live? Are you sure you are not one of those who simply close their eyes and turn in the other direction just to avoid experiencing the horrible truth of our world?

Every one of us can do something about the truth. You can at least stand for the truth wherever you are. You can refuse to compromise the truth. Of course you can tell the truth. Truth could be proclaimed. Truth could be defended. Truth could be protected. There are so many responses to the truth that would please the heart of our master. Heaven awaits only your decision.

When God speaks about equity, that choice of word, makes us understand that God is not referring to the leaders of the land or the elite this time around. He is actually talking about how ordinary citizens of the land relate to each other in fairness and impartiality. What do you think about your area? Is it a common thing for ordinary citizens to relate to each other in fairness and impartiality? Can you do anything about it? Of course you can.

What about starting an NGO? What about launching a campaign? What about joining a pressure group? What about teaching this in schools, colleges, tertiary institutions? I want to believe that you are hearing the voice of conscience right now, calling you to arise and become the man God is looking for.

When God says he doesn’t see a man, I think the logical question would be to ask, what then does he see?

In my thinking, I believe the word that best describes what God sees in the absence of a man, is a bunch of flesh – biological masses. There is a word that might best fit the description of what God sees when he looks at the earth, the word is BIOMASS or BIOMASSES.

Biomasses are a biological reality that cannot be denied as existing, but even though they exist physically, yet they have not attained the height of Homo sapiens. Humans could be termed as biomasses when they don’t fully put into use their human qualifications. Men and women that don’t bother to think. Men and women that don’t bother to notice things that are out of order. People who are indifferent about the happenings around them. Men and women that don’t respond with solution to the challenges of the era. All of these people are united by one common name BIOMASSES.

Even God does not call every human a man. There are some who have not managed to attain the height of those who God refers to as men. They might be giving birth, eating and drinking, having fun, but yet, when they don’t live for what they were created for, they remain biomasses.

It is not enough to have a body to be qualified as a man. Animals too have bodies and we don’t call them man for some reasons – they don’t qualify. So such is man, such is human, who might not be qualified because he has not attained the height where he sees realities as God wants him to see it. Animals give birth to children, so that alone is not an argument strong enough to make a human a man. Otherwise goats, dogs and pigs could beat us to the game, because they could do in one go what will take man years to accomplish. A woman can only give birth to a number of kids at a time, in a year, while some animals could give birth to as many as tens of breeds in a year.

Ladies and gentlemen, I therefore submit to you that what qualifies a person to be called a man according to God, is the ability of the individual to live by the right standard and values that heaven values. Standards like, justice, judgment, truth and equity.

Our daily endeavors and activities should be about or around these value systems. They reflect love. They reflect care. They reflect kindness. They are qualities of heaven.

“Never forget that justice is what love looks like in public” ― Cornel West

God is calling upon us today, especially those of us who have been privileged to come across this article, to arise and rebel against lawlessness in our societies. Silence and indifference would not take you anywhere at the end of the day. It is only people who show upright positions in standing for the truth that win at last. When we become quiet at the collapsed value system in our nation, iniquity and injustice would eventually overrun that nation if action is not taken promptly.

Justice suffers when men refuse to stand firm for what is right. If we don’t fight lawlessness, it prevails. If we don’t establish the truth in our nations, truth becomes foreign in the country. God says there is no man when there is nobody who stands for the truth.

I hope my modest effort in unveiling this truth, will contribute to you my dear readers, to becoming a better man in the eyes of God!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CHURCH AND NATION

Honor and Protocol Gifts

Protocol and Honor Gifts

Proverbs 18:16 (GW)

16 A gift opens doors for the one who gives it     and brings him into the presence of great people

Harry

As I begin to learn native ministry, there is a tradition that is widely practiced. It is called ‘protocol’.

It is expected, when meeting a native leader, that we should bring a gift, a gift not of money, rather one signifying respect and honor. These gifts are called ‘honor gifts’.

They are to be given from the heart….

I have been in meetings, where protocol gifts were given for several hours, in an incredible expression of love, respect, and honor.

I have heard about how, in Israel Jonathon Maracle gave gifts to the representative from the Israeli government, and how he cleared his schedule for the entire day, to meet and host the First nations peoples there determined to honor him and Israel. Hours spent, as natives piled his desk with honor gifts, and spoke expressions of love, support and honor to his heart.

Chief Kenny Blacksmith explained this verse the last time we were together, as simply a beautiful expression of honor, as our gifts open doors for the giver.

In our white culture, we give ‘house warming’ gifts when we visit our friends. How much more, when we recognize and enter ancestral native territories, and honor the host peoples of these lands. We are entering their homes, honoring this is only right before God.

I have seen some incredible examples of the power of this act, but there is one that still touches me very deeply: when Harry Hayes (US Army retired) and Gregory Gil (US Marine Corps retired) learned of the horrible betrayal of trust by our government towards the Navajo people that resulted in ‘the long walk’ of the Navajo. In uniform, they presented a combat medal received in operation desert storm, and a marine combat knife (K-bar), as honor gifts to pastor Jerry Tom, and Deswood Tomes representing the office of Navajo President Ben Shelley, asking forgiveness for what the US military had done to the Navajo people, stating that ‘all had sinned and fallen short of the glory of God’ and that only God could forgive and fix this horror, and that this was NOT ‘the freedom, liberty and justice for all’ they had given their lives to defend.ben shelley platform

Protocol and the giving of honor gifts may be a native tradition, yet it is one that we might be wise to incorporate in our culture today. The honoring of elders, respect for leaders, the recognition of ancient treaties, lands, and covenants, will bring the power and presence of the Holy One that inhabits eternity upon the scene.

It is this presence, that will heal our lands…

Let’s Pray:

“Father, I come before you today, seeking you to heal our land. Show me what to give, to whom, as I travel. Help me to honor Your authority on the land, recognizing the peoples You have given the lands to, who live there. May I always respect elders and leaders, as I seek to walk gently in Your wisdom, bring Your healing wherever possible. Thank you for this Lord Jesus, Amen”

Thanksgiving Eve – Thank Jesus!

It is time to write of my thanksgiving to God, my family, this country, and all the great churches we have visited or been a part of over the years. I am so grateful for all the people who have helped us make the impossible, possible – people of great hearts and generosity that have made our lives enriched in so many, many ways.

thanksgiving
I am also thankful to the host peoples of this land, the Indian nations, that have given us so much in welcoming us to their lands, and helping our ancestors to survive in this land we call the United States. I believe that again, they will rise up, and help us to survive in this land, in this critical hour of history….

I am thankful to Jesus, for His life, His love, His plan, His comfort, direction, grace and power and purpose to serve this generation,

And, I am like the one leper who found healing, I have come back to Him, again, today to simply say, Thank You Lord, for everything!
thanks-leper

Jesus expects a thank-you, and truly, giving thanks, completes our miracles. Let’s look at:

Luke 17:11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 and they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Jesus heals, performs miracles, gives us purpose and direction for our lives, and all He expects, is that we say, like this leper: ‘Thank-you!”

Why did only one cleansed leper return to thank Jesus?  The following are nine suggested reasons why the nine did not return:

One waited to see if the cure was real.

One waited to see if it would last.

One said he would see Jesus later.

One decided that he had never had leprosy.

One said he would have gotten well anyway.

One gave the glory to the priests.

One said, “O, well, Jesus didn’t really do anything.”

One said, “Any rabbi could have done it.”

One said, “I was already much improved.”

Charles L. Brown, Content The Newsletter, June, 1990, p. 3
I read the following little story, and it makes this Bible story, so much more relevant today:

Thankfulness seems to be a lost art today. Warren Wiersby illustrated this problem in his commentary on Colossians. He told about a ministerial student in Evanston, Illinois, who was part of a life-saving squad. In 1860, a ship went aground on the shore of Lake Michigan near Evanston, and Edward Spencer waded again and again into the frigid waters to rescue 17 passengers. In the process, his health was permanently damaged. Some years later at his funeral, it was noted that not one of the people he rescued ever thanked him.

Our Daily Bread, February 20, 1994.

Psalm 100:4

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Have you taken time to thank Him today?:

thankful
Let’s Pray:

‘Father, Creator of all life, I come to you this day, simply to say ‘Thank-you’ for all you have given to me, my family, our country, and Your church. Thank-you Jesus for dying for me upon the cross, and that you having risen from the dead, live forevermore, that we too, might experience eternal life in You. Please come into our lives, our families, our churches, and again into this nation, that like the leper, we might be made whole in You. Amen’

For those of us who have the privilege of living in this incredible nation named the United States of America, please be reminded of why, historically, we celebrate Thanksgiving:

First National Thanksgiving Proclamation

Whereas, it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; Whereas, both the houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me

“to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness!”

Now therefore, I do recommend next, to be devoted by the people of the states to the service of that great and glorious being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be, that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country.

Abraham Lincoln’s
Thanksgiving Proclamation
of 1863

The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God.

In the midst of a civil war of unequalled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict; while that theatre has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union.

Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defence, have not arrested the plough, the shuttle, or the ship; the axe had enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore.

Population has steadily increased, notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege and the battle-field; and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom.

No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.

It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and voice by the whole American People.

I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens.

And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to his tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquillity and Union.

A. Lincoln, October 3, 1863.

Abraham Lincoln’s
Thanksgiving Proclamation
of 1863

It is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God; to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow, yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon; and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history, that those nations are blessed whose God is the Lord.

We know that by His divine law, nations, like individuals, are subjected to punishments and chastisements in this world. May we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war which now desolates the land may be a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins, to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole people?

We have been the recipients of the choisest bounties of heaven; we have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown.

But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us.

It has seemed to me fit and proper that God should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged, as with one heart and one voice, by the whole American people. I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November as a day of Thanksgiving and praise to our beneficent Father Who dwelleth in the heavens.

Righteousness Exalts a Nation

heal-our-land3

This message has not changed over the years, because Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He is the Prince of Peace, and if we want peace in our land, we must submit to His Lordship, for His kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost!

Proverbs 14:34  Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

Proverbs 11:10  When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

Proverbs 29:2  When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Psalms 9:8  And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

Psalms 11:7  For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Psalms 23:3  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Psalms 96:13  Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Proverbs 2:9  Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

Today, I want to speak about the righteousness of God. Righteousness meaning ‘right standing with God’

First, as a New Testament believer, we need to understand the difference between positional righteousness, and practical righteousness.

Positional righteousness is the righteousness that every Christian has before the throne of God. We believe in Jesus, that He came, God in the flesh, that He lived a sinless and victorious life here in the earth, performing miracles throughout His earthly ministry, that He died upon the cross as the only acceptable substitute for our sins, that He rose from the grave on the third day and ascended bodily into heaven where He now reigns, as King of King and Lord of Lords.

Positionally, we were all lost, but because we placed out faith in Him, He adopted us into the family of God, and gave us a new identity.

Ephesians 1:20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

You are a child of promise, and heir of God. Your life has purpose and destiny upon it. You are no longer a bastard, a slave or an orphan, you are not a mistake, but are a child of the king, training for ruling and reigning in Him throughout eternity. You are the church, a member of the Body of Christ, a warrior in God’s army, called to occupy this earth until He comes again. You have been given authority over death, demons, and disease, and are no longer your own, but have been bought with a price, and live under His command. He has commanded us to Go! Into  all the world in His strength and authority and to bring it under His Lordship and authority. Today we are going to do some of that.

Revelation 1:5  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Revelation 1:6  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 5:10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Practically, many of us are in one of two camps; we either don’t fully know what God has for us to do for Him, and so are growing in Him, becoming rooted and grounded in His love, seeking His will and Word in all things. Yet, some have flat out gone AWOL. We have long ago forgot that ‘Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteous is the primary commandment in the Bible, loving God first, takes precedence over serving Him. There is no morning watch and prayer vigil in our homes, the family alter has long ago fallen away, destroyed and decrepit from disuse, and then the long weary walk of works has begun, living life in a dry and weary land where there is no water. We raise our children, we busy ourselves in our churches, we work hard to provide for our families, but we have lost our first love, the Lord of glory. I know, even as a pastor, my ministerial responsibilities have often crept into my life for long seasons, where I have literally dried up spiritually, and delivered sermons devoid of passion and power. I have fed God’s people stale bread, from years of Bible study, that ministers only to the intellect of man, not his spirit. I had to fall back upon the Rock, and be broken. I had to put aside every earthly distraction, to again seek the face of God, that I might deliver to His people living waters from His throne, words of Spirit and truth, again a voice for the Lord, not merely an echo.

Today, we will have good old fashioned alter time to come back to that, and the Lord will meet you there, for He has sent me.

Yet I must speak today of practical righteousness. Practical righteousness for a Christian, is walking in love. You have been made to sit together with Christ in heavenly places. You have been given a high place in the Spirit of God. We used to attend a men’s breakfast monthly up in Canada hosted by a group of Christian businessmen, that understood the honour of God. They rented a Penthouse ballroom each month, in one of the best hotels in town, and did it right.

The Penthouse in on top of the building. It’s a high place. Practical righteousness means to repent. That is, come back to your high place in God. Leave behind the filthy things of your flesh and this world, and come back you royal child to your position of honour and holiness before Him.

The Pentagon, is also a high place. Every person working in the government of this great nation is called of God, to live and do righteousness, for God is holy!

If we love and serve Jesus, we truly do have friends in high places, higher than any earthly relationship….He must become our best friend, so that we serve and obey Him, seeking His counsel on the complexities of life, more than all the counsel of man. Used to be the US Congress began their day with the first three hours devoted to prayer…

national prayer2

Quickly, I’ll give you a couple of thoughts on sin, and will give the Holy Spirit something to work with in this message, because I’m a man on a mission. These are critical days, and I’m fixin to change a nation, and ultimately the nations of the earth, based upon what happens to you as you hear this word.

Forgive. No time to play with this one. God says if you don’t forgive people that have done you wrong He won’t forgive you. Do it now. You will never feel like it, for the pain and offense are real. Do it because the Word says so, as an act of your will. You are commanded to forgive and love people, but you do not have to trust everyone. If someone did you wrong, you must forgive them. Until they exhibit fruits in keeping with repentance, you are not required to reconcile with them, sin separates, but love covers a multitude of sins. You must forgive, and love.

Now let’s look at a few more sins.

Gal 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

  • If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

I had to do a little house cleaning before I could take you into where God wants us to go in this service.

You see, there is power in sacrifice. God is Almighty, and there is no greater power in heaven and earth, than the power of the blood of Jesus.

Rev 2:18 ¶ And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

19  I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

20  Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21  And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22  Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

23  And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

24  But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

25  But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

  • And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

God wants to give His church power over the nations, but we need to grow into it, by overcoming the obstacles Satan has arrayed against us. Overcoming takes raw courage, good old fashioned guts, because there are many people that do not love truth, nor are they willing to walk in honor, honesty, and the fear of the Lord. They will oppose you…

1 Peter 2:2  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Galatians 3:29  And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

4:1 ¶ Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2  But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

You don’t give a child an atomic bomb. We are the bride of Christ, and look at this:

Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:7  Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

If you want to see your life influence the nations of the earth, or this nation used of God in the nations of the earth, we must keep growing in Jesus and in the Word of God. As we do, His rule and righteous reign, the absolute highest good of all mankind, will flow through us and this nation.

national prayer

Matthew 10:27  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

We are the bride of Christ. When we approach God in intimacy, and symbolically place out head upon Jesus shoulder, He whispers secrets into our spirit. He tells us that these things are to be proclaimed from the rooftops.

Why? Because Jesus has all authority in heaven and earth, and He grants that authority to His church. He will back up His Word with signs following, and even angels wait for the hearing of God’s Word in the earth.

Psalms 103:20  Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Psalms 104:4  Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

The government of God must flow through you! You are the ones supposed to be uttering this decree, as you abide in Him.

27  Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

Job 22:28  Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Acts 2:17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

  • And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Isaiah 8:18  Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

We seek Him. God pours out His Spirit. Holy Spirit tells us things God wants to do in the earth. We proclaim these things, and literally declare the decrees of God. God backs up His Word with power, and signs and wonders occur in the earth.

So when God wants to prune an earthly government, He reveals His will to five-fold ministry gifts in the earth. They declare His decrees. God moves upon His Word, and stuff happens.

Amos 3:7  Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Isaiah 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Jeremiah 1:10  See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Matthew 4:8  Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

What did Satan show Jesus? I believe he showed him his rulership over nations, in the realm of the spirit. Territorial principalities of darkness ruling under his domain. Demons, that rule the minds of men, for satan is a mind blinding spirit.

Hebrews 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

We are to take the Word of God, and subdue this world through prayer and the preaching of God’s Word until:

Revelation 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the  kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

We do this through what we believe and speak.

Hebrews 11:33  Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

Today, God is going to use us for signs and wonders in the earth. We are going to move in things of eternal consequence, for His glory.

There is power in sacrifice. Satan knows this. When you study out pagan religions, part of the worship of Baal and Astoreth and Molech in the Old Testament involved human sacrifice. Demon worshippers, literally offered their children upon alters of demonic sacrifice, a practice God expressly forbid.

Leviticus 18:21  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

Jesus holds the keys to death and hell. Every life in the earth is given by God, by divine decree. When blood is shed unrighteously, it cries out to the throne of God.

For those of you who have read or heard my teaching on ‘Redeeming the Land’ or have had me come to your property, and pray to redeem it, you have learned that this is not merely great preaching, but practical reality.

Gal 4:9 ¶ And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

  • And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

When a person dies. His spirit appears before the throne of God. God sees, and He judges.

Luke 11:51  From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

So, Satan understands the power of unjust blood shed, and seeks to destroy nations who shed it, to provoke God to wrath. The thief comes to kill…

2 Kings 3:

Gives us an account that I believe has powerful application today. We see a divided kingdom, Israel ruled by a wicked king named Jehoram. Judah ruled by a godly king named Jehoshaphat. Jehoram had been raised by an evil father Ahab. Ahab.had ruled over the Samaritians and taxed them heavily. When he died, they rebelled, and Jehoram found himself without God, at war. So he did what many still do today, He tried to find someone to fight with him.

¶ Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years.

2  And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.

3  Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

4  And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool.

5  But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.

6 ¶ And king Jehoram went out of Samaria the same time, and numbered all Israel.

7  And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.

8  And he said, Which way shall we go up? And he answered, The way through the wilderness of Edom.

9  So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven days’ journey: and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them.

10  And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab!

  • But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel’s servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.

Jehoshaphat seeks God, and finds a prophet, the mighty man of God Elisha, the successor to Elijah.

12  And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

13  And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.

14  And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.

15  But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.

16  And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.

17  For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.

18  And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.

19  And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.

20 ¶ And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

21  And when all the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armour, and upward, and stood in the border.

22  And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red as blood:

23  And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.

24  And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even in their country.

25  And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.

  • And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
  • Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

So he killed his son, a shadow and type of how God offered up His son as a sacrifice, and the blood of that sacrifice so empowered the demon principality that the Moabites served that the army was empowered to drive back the compromised army of God.

We see again and again in the Scripture that when the people of God walked with God, in practical righteousness, and enemies rose up, God gave a battle plan, and the nation was undefeated. A holy people in the hands of an Almighty God, is undeafeatable, unstoppable in battle.

So, abortion, the killing of an unborn child, no matter how it is rationalized in the mind of people, is a literal blood sacrifice being offered up to demon spirits.

Why to world leaders attend meetings at Bohemian Grove, for the yearly ‘Festival of Fire’? Some think it is simply a political move, but it is not: it is a ceremony where demons spirits are actually worshipped…in exchange for political power and authority.

2Co 10:6  And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Obedience produced God’s power, and still does today. Ac 5:32  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Remember? The Egyptians chased Moses at the Red Sea, God parted the waters, and then God caused the water to drown the Egyptian army.

Exodus 17:10  So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

You know he story. Moses lifted his rod, and the armies of heaven marched against the legions of hell in the realm of the spirit, and Israel prevailed in battle. When Moses got tired, and let the rod of God fall, the devils empowering the Amalekites surged, and the heavenly host withdrew, and the armies of Israel struggled. With Aaron and Hur’s undergirding, Moses was able to keep the rod of God upheld, and Israel won the victory over her enemies.

So it was during the war in Iraq. As the church interceded and spiritually held up the arms of President Bush and the US and allied armed forces, we saw victory.

I said, by the spirit of God, during that war:

“If  we let down our guard and become apathetic and prayerless, Al Queda recruits and plots, it’s plans are not revealed to military sources by the Spirit of God, the host of heaven is not empowered to work, and soldiers die, and our borders are not safe.”

I can give many stories. When Joshua marched against Jericho under God’s authority and commands, the walls fell, and Israel prevailed. Whe we read the account in Joshua chapter 7, where Achan sinned, and stole the cursed things, his sin literally punched a hole in the dome of God’s supernatural protection over Israel. Israel went to battle against Ai, and were defeated. Soldiers died. Joshua prayed. God did not say, “Achan sinned” rather He said “Israel has sinned”. Achan’s disobedience in wartime opened the door for demonic penetration of the spiritual covering over the nation of Israel, and Israel was defeated in battle. Achan was discovered and capital punishment was executed. Israel was undefeated in it’s next military exploits.

There is much I can say about this, but this is enough, for now.

2 Sam 5:

22  And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

23  And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

  • And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.

What happened here in battle? David sought God for a battle plan. God gave him one, that involved the host of heaven. David was to wait until the angels of God marched against the demons that the Philistines served, then go to battle. He did, God did, and again Israel was victorious. Notice again, that David was serving God with his whole heart, no compromise.

We see this again, recorded for us from the life of the prophet Elisha:

2 Kings 6:15  And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots . And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

16  And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

  • And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Same thing. One man with God, in touch with heaven, operating under the authority of heaven allowed the armies of God to prevail against the host of hell, and the people of God to be delivered.

My question to you is this: Will you be that man or woman of God?

After we repent of our personal sins, and again begin to seek God, there are specific battle plans to be revealed from heaven that will cause the church and the gospel to be victorious in this generation.

Here’s what I see at present in the earth.  The purposes of God in the earth are at stake again, as the destiny of God for the United States hangs in the balance.

So, what are we to pray for this nation?

  1. That the blood of Jesus be applied to the blood of the sacrifice Satan has raised up through abortion.
  2. That God give a revelation to judges, and purge the judicial system. That this revelation be given to the public, and those in the medical profession of the spiritual significance of this horror.
  3. That President Obama repent. That he sell out for Jesus and the kingdom of God, and renounce his compromise with Islam, abortion, and same sex marriage and make unholy alliances with agencies within the United States, (ACLU, Islam, the Bohemian grove bunch, and every pro-abortion, or homosexual group) and that God remove from positions of authority those leaders across this land that do.
  4. That the church recognize racism for what it is, an enemy to be destroyed in prayer. It is a spiritual force, that must be blasted in prayer, not just social action.
  5. That the church aggressively pray for North American Indian tribes, the host peoples of this land. The broken treaties, and innocent bloodshed of these people are screaming before the throne of God, and ONLY the church can fix this through the blood of Jesus.

Mt 6:24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Lu 16:13  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mammon is simply a term to describe the worldly system, and it is clear that demonic principalities operate through it. You cannot serve Jesus, claim to know Him, then publically do exactly the opposit His Word prescribes.

Joh 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Joh 14:21  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

  1. That the church take her place in this spiritual war and that Islamic infiltration into the US, be removed. That terrorist organizations be exposed, dismantled, and removed. That Muslims, would be converted, en masse, both here in the US, and internationally. The Bible is a book of holiness and love. The Quran is a book of atrocities and hate. There will never be a mix of the two in heaven, nor can there be in the earth.
    1. That God protection be restored in this nation. That terrorist plots be exposed and stopped before they are carried out.
  2. That Federal judges or politicians across this land who have been pro-abortion repent, now, or be removed from office.
  3. The US publically again stand with Israel.
  4. That prayer and the Bible again return to schools.
  5. That Christians again sell out totally for Jesus, and begin to seek first your kingdom, hear your voice, share the gospel, and attend and build strong local churches across the US.
  6. That the Media proclaim the gospel.
  7. That hidden things be brought to light, and those things against the Word of God and the spirit of the US constitution be removed.
  8. That again this great nation bow it’s knee to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Get in agreement church and declare these things in your authority and agreement, and watch God move His hand in revival across the earth again.

Lets pray:

Let’s Pray:

  1. Father, we ask for mercy, once again, for the horrendous slaughter of our unborn children. Forgive them Father for their murder, and open their eyes to the carnage they create. Reveal Jesus to them. By faith, in your authority, I plead and apply the blood of Jesus over the blood of abortion, and command ever evil spirit operating there, to leave this nation, now, in the name and authority of Jesus.
  1. Father, I pray for President Barack Obama. Thank you for his stand against racism in this nation. Please use him to provide equity and equal opportunity to black Americans, and First Nations peoples.

Forgive him Father, have mercy upon him, and open his eyes to see Jesus, and to bow to His Lordship. To cut every tie with Islam, abortion, homosexuality, and every treacherous group, determined to undermine and destroy the United States, the freedom that you have given us, liberty to walk in love, honor, and honesty, and justice for all men. I pray for every member of government, in both the executive, judicial, and legislative branch, every cival authority, Federally and in every state, that they choose Jesus and the Word of God, in every area of their leadership, and that they use all of their abilities, authority, and influence to promote the kingdom of God in the earth.

  1. By faith, I stand against Islam in America. I bind, forbid, and stop every evil spirit operating through this, and command all deception to leave, now. I bring the sword of the spirit to all compromise with Islam, and pray for every Muslim, that you would reveal to them the love of Jesus, and the truth that sets free in the gospel. I bind the fear of death that controls them, and set them free to be the people of love, honor, honesty and truth you have called them to be, in Jesus name.
  2. Father, Today is the day of salvation, your name is I AM. I declare and decree that every politician, judge, or government official that has joined itself to abortion, homosexuality, or Islam, be removed from office, and that God fearing persons be put in their place, today, in Jesus name.Amen
  3. Father, I ask that The US publically again stand with Israel, in spirit and in truth, and would stop supporting her enemies, today, that you might again bless this nation.
  4. Father we ask: “That prayer and the Bible again return to schools.”, in Jesus name!
  1. Father we ask, “That Christians again sell out totally for Jesus, and begin to seek first your kingdom, hear your voice, share the gospel, and attend and build strong local churches across the US.
  1. Father, by faith, I command the Media proclaim the gospel, and be cleansed from all perversion, filth, and evil, in Jesus name.

  1. Father I ask, that hidden things be brought to light, and those things against the Word of God and the spirit of the US constitution be removed from this nation, in Jesus name, Amen.
  • Father, bring this great nation back to you, that again this great nation bow it’s knee to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Praying for America Hidden things to be revealed.

Isa 45:3  And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Isa 48:6  Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.

national prayer3

1Co 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1Co 4:5  Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

2Co 4:2  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

As we proceed toward National Day of Prayer on Thursday, these are the verses I feel impressed to pray:

That God will reveal to us hidden things:

  1. Hidden keys of knowledge to dismantle and destroy works and roots of darkness.
  2. Hidden keys of wisdom to know what to do, to see the kingdom of God advance and be restored in the United States of America.
  3. That God reveal the very motives of men’s hearts, the agendas of godless men, intent on destroying this country, and that He, Himself destroy them: Ps 112:10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish. That these very desires perish, and that God change both the hearts of men and leadership here, or, if nessesary, the leadership itself, that the government be righteous, holy, and fully under the Lordship of Jesus.
  4. That the Lord come, and reveal the hidden things of dishonesty and iniquity, and that by manifestation of the truth, these be destroyed and cleansed from our land.
  5. That Father God in heaven, would have mercy upon this nation, and forgive us, and send again His spirit to reveal Jesus, and turn us back to Him. This is the promise God made to our founding fathers, from which we get our three branches of government:

Isaiah 33:22

For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, theLord is our king; he will save us! As I read this verse again this week, I am convinced that Jesus will save America! He is going to do it! Continue to stand with me for righteousness, and the preservation of this great nation! Amen

Healing America Tour – Choctaw/Spanish

Heal Our Land!

As I have spent a recent time over in the Holy Spirit, praying in other tongues, it has come to my attention that I need to go to Mobile, Alabama, and pray over the land, to cleanse it from the defilements resulting in the innocent bloodshed of the Choctaws at the hands of the Spanish conquistador De Soto.

For those of you unfamiliar with why I do this, know that I am committed to a move of the Holy Spirit in the United States of America, and if you have been to many prayer meetings, you have heard quoted:

2 Chronicles 7:14New International Version (NIV)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Ever thought about the land itself needing healing?

It can be defiled by innocent bloodshed:

Psalm 106:38

They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.

Only the blood of Jesus, applied by faith can do this…

History of the Choctaw, Chickasaw and Natchez Indians – Horatio Bardwell Cushman

Pages 79-83

The Choctaws were first made known to the European world by the journalists of that memorable adventurer, Hernando De Soto, who invaded their territory October, 1540, and introduced the civilized (so-called) race of mankind to the Choctaws in the following manner: A manly young Indian of splendid proportions, and with a face extremely attractive and interesting, visited De Soto after he had left Tallase. He was the son of Tuscaloosa (corruption of the Choctaw words territories extended to the distant Tom big bee in the west. (Tom big bee is a corruption of the Choctaw words Itombi, box, ikbi, maker), a name given to a white man, it is said, who, at an early day, settled on the banks of the river and made boxes for the Choctaws, in which were placed the bones of their dead, which will be particularly noticed elsewhere. The young warrior bore an invitation from his father to De Soto to visit him at his capital. The next day De Soto, advancing to within six miles of where the great chief awaited him, made a halt, and sent Louis de Mascosso with fifteen horsemen to inform Tush ka Lusa of his near approach. Mascosso and his troopers soon appeared before Tush ka Lusa, who was seated upon an emin ence commanding a broad and delightful view. He was a man of powerful stature, muscular limbs, yet of admirable proportions, with a countenance grave and severe, yet handsome. When De Soto arrived Tush ka Lusa arose and advanced to meet him with a proud and haughty air, and said: “Great Chief; I receive you as a brother, and welcome you to my country. I am ready to comply with your requests.” After a few preliminaries, in company with Tush ka Lusa and his followers, De Soto took up his line of march for Mobila the capital of the mighty chief. (Mobila is a corruption of the two Choctaw words moma, all, binah, a lodge, literally a Choctaw word Pi-a-chih, to care for us), they passed through many populous towns, well stored with corn, beans and other provisions. On the fourth morning, De Soto, with a hundred cavalry and as many infantry, made a forced march with Tush ka Lusa in the direction of Mobila, leaving Mascosso to bring up the rear. At eight o’clock the same morning, October 18th, 1540, De Soto and Tush ka Lusa reached the capital. It stood by the si de of a large river, upon a beautiful plain, and consisted of e ighty handsome houses, each large enough to contain a thousand men, and all fronting a large public square. Dodge says in his book styled “Our Wild Indians” that “The aboriginal inhabitants of the North American continent, have never at any time exceeded half a million souls;” yet according to De Soto’s journalists who were with him in his memorable raid, Mobila alone, “consisted of eighty handsome houses, each large enough to contain a thousand men;” and if each house contained Dodge’s “several families consisting of men, with two or three wives, and children of all ages and sexes, occupy for all purposes one single lodge of 12 or 15 feet in diameter what must have been the number of indabitants in Mobila with “80 handsome houses, each large enough to contain a thousand men” with two, three, or more wives, and children The reader can make the calculation at his own leisure; though it seems Mobila alone contained over half the number of souls that Dodge allows for the entire continent, “at one time.” A high wall surrounded the town, made of immense trunks of trees set close together and deep in the ground, and made strong with heavy cross timbers interwoven with large vines. A thick mud plaster, resembling handsome masonry, concealed the wood work, while port-holes were abundant, together with towers, capable of holding eight men each, at the distance of fifteen paces apart. There were two gates leading into the town, one on the east, the other on the west. De Soto and Tush ka Lusa were escorted into the great public square with songs and chants, and the dancing of beautiful Indian girls. They alighted from their horses, and were given seats under a canopy of state. Having remained seated for a short time, Tush ka Lusa now requested that he should no longer be held as a hostage; to which De Soto giving no heed, the indignant chief at once arose and walked off with an independent attitude to where a group of his warriors stood. De Soto had scarcely recovered from his surprise at the independent conduct of Tush ka Lusa, when Jean Ortez followed the chief and stated that breakfast awaited him at De Soto’s table; but he refused to return, and added, “If of my territory.” At this juncture De Soto secretly sent word to his men to be prepared for an attack. Then, hoping to prevent an attack until he could again get in possession of the chief, De Soto advanced toward him with assumed smiles and words of friendship, but Tush ka Lusa scornfully turned his back upon him, and was soon hidden among the multitude of now highly excited warriors. Just then a warrior rushed out of a house, denouncing the Spaniards as robbers and murderers and declared that they should no longer impose on their chief, by holding him as a prisoner. His words so enraged Baltaserde Gallagas, that he cut the warrior in twain with one sweep of his broad sword. At the sight of their slain warrior, the Choctaws, with their defiant war-whoop, at once rushed upon De Soto and his men. De Soto, placing himself at the head of his men, fighting and retreating, slowly made his way out of the town into the plain; and continued to retreat until he had reached a considerable distance upon the plain. In the mean time the troopers rushed to secure their horses, which had been tied outside of the walls. The Choctaws at once knocked the chains from the hands and feet of the Indian prisoners whom De Soto had brought with him, giving them weapons bade them help destroy the perfidious strangers. In the first rush the Choctaws killed five of the Spaniards, who had good fortune in dense masses before the gate. At that moment, De Soto with his cavalry, closely followed by his infantry, made a fearful charge upon the disordered mass of the Choctaws, who were still on the outside of the enclosures, and with a terrible slaughter drove them back into the town. Immediately the Choctaws rushed to the port-holes and towers, and hurled clouds of arrows and spears upon the Spaniards, and again drove them from the walls. Seeing the Spaniards again retreat, again the Choctaws rushed through the gate and fearlessly attacked the Spaniards fighting them hand to hand and face to face. Three long hours did the battle rage, the Spaniards now retreating, then the Choctaws. Like a spectre De Soto seemed every where hewing down on the right and left, as if his arm could never tire. That sword, which had been so often stained with the blood of the South American, was now red with that of the North American, a still braver race. Above the mighty din was heard the voice of Tush ka Lusa encouraging his warriors; his tomahawk, wielded by his muscular arm, ascended and descended in rapid strokes, like a meteor across a starry sky. But could the feeble bow and arrow and the tomahawk avail against the hug e lance and broad-sword? What the unprotected body of the Choctaw warrior against the steel clad body of the Spanish soldier? At the enclosure of their town, closing the gates after them; and at the same time the Spaniards made a desperate charge against the gates and walls, but were met with showers of arrows and other missiles. But the infantry, protected by their bucklers, soon hewed the gates to pieces with their battle-axes, and rushed into the town, while the cavalry remained on the outside to cut to pieces all who might attempt to escape. Then began a carnage too awful to relate. The Choctaws fought in the streets, in the square, from the house top, and walls; and though the ground was covered with their dead and dying relatives and friends, still no living one entreated for quarter. Hotter and hotter, and more bloody waxed the desperate conflict. Often the Choctaws drove the Spaniards out of the town, but to see them return again with demoniac fury. To such a crisis had the battle now arrived, that there could be no idle spectators; and now were seen women and girls contending side by side with the husbands, fathers and brothers, and fearlessly sharing in the dangers and in the indiscriminate slaughter. At length the houses were setson fire, and the wind blew the smoke and flames in all directions adding horror to the scene. The flames ascended in mighty volumes. The din of strife began to grow fainter. The sun weut down, seemingly to rejoice in withdrawing from the sickening was in ruins, and her people slain. For nine long hours had the battle raged. Eighty-two Spaniards were killed and forty-five horses. But alas, the poor Choctaws, who participated in the fight were nearly all slain. Garcellasso asserts that eleven thousand were slain; while the “Portuguese Gentleman” sets the number at twenty five hundred within the town alone. Assuming a point between the two, it is reasonable to conclude that six thousand were killed in and outside of the town. Tushka Lusa perished with his people. After the destruction of Mobila, De Soto remained a few days upon the plains around the smoking town; sending out foraging parties, who found the neighboring villages well stocked with provisions. In all these foraging excursions, females of great beauty were captured, and added to those taken at the close of the battle. On Sunday the 18th of November, 1540, this monster and his fiendish crew took their departure from the smouldering ruins of Mobila, and its brave but murdered inhabitants; and with the poor Mobila girls, at whose misfortunes humanity weeps, resumed their westward march.” Thus the Europeans introduced themselves to the Native Americans nearly four centuries ago as a race of civilized and Christian people, but proving themselves to be a race of fiends utterly void of every principle of virtue the Europeans as a race unknown to civilization and Christianity, yet proving themselves possessed of many virtues that adorn man, together with a spirit of as true and noble patriotism, martyrs upon the altar of liberty, that has never been surpassed. I challenge history to show a nation whose people ever displayed a more heroic courage in defense of their country and homes than did Tushka Lusa and his brave people in defending their town Mama-binah. They exposed their naked breasts to the keen lances and swords of those iron-clad Spaniards with but stone and bone-tipped spears and the feeble bow and arrow, which were but as toy pistols against the deadly Winchester rifle of the present day; and heroically stood face to face with their terrible foes with their frail weapons and disputed every inch of ground, and yielded only when none was left to fight. That they should have killed eighty two of the Spaniards with their feeble weapons is truly astonishing, proving conclusively that had they been on equal footing with the Spaniards, not a Spaniard would have survived to tell the tale of their complete destruction.
