Trial or Test?

Ps 105:17 He sent a man, Joseph, before them who was sold as a servant. 18 They hurt his feet with chains. He was put in irons, 19 until what he had said would happen came to pass. The Word of the Lord tested him.

Satan will bring persecution and afflictions to our lives, for the Words sake.

Mark 4: 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.

Hebrews 10:32 King James Version (KJV)
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Yet, what satan brings as a trial, can become a test of God, if we refuse to waver in what we believe.

James 1:12 

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

You know God has spoken to you!

James 1:2

[ Trials and Temptations ] Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,

Refuse to bow to the pressure, until the appointed time of our Father, and you will see exactly what you have believed, come to pass.

You want power with God?

He will reveal His power in your fiery stand of faith.

Stand!

Philippians 4:1
Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

God did not say it was easy, but it is possible!

1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

Giving Jesus MY All, Today!

Mar 14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

The woman with the alabaster jar, poured out her life, her offering, in such reckless abandon upon the feet of Jesus, that He, King of the Universe, deemed that her act become an eternal memorial of her.

Ever thought that we can live in such radical obedience, passion, brokenness at His feet in love, that our lives might be written as eternal memorials to our sacrifice?

Mal_3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

There is a book being written in heaven, that will be an eternal best seller. The book of remembrance of the acts of the saints, forever recorded, for the glory of Jesus, the testimony of the saints.

Let’s live in such a way today, they we cause heavenly scribes to have to pick up the pen on our behalf, writing headlines in heaven, angels to rejoice, Jesus to smile, and the great cloud of witnesses to be on their feet, peering over the balconies of heaven, as our life, our testimony, our radical passion for Jesus, our sacrifice, and poured out consecration for Him!

‘Father, burn like a fire in me, blazing bright to this generation. Jesus! I come to your feet, and pour out my love, my life, my passion, my all for you, today. May I live in such a way as to make headlines in heaven, eternal record of my love for you, that you might smile, as you receive, through me, the reward of your suffering. Amen’

Fire Shut Up In Your Bones!

Jer 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

Today, Holy Spirit leads me to fervently pray that the Word of God, and call of God in your heart, be stirred up like a fire shut up in your bones, that you get no relief until you fully obey Him. By faith, I severe unhealthy relationships, and bondages from your life, and command fresh fire, anointing, direction, strength, and revelation to flow to you, now.

Hebrews 1:7

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh hisangels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

 

That God would send you relationships and co-laborers of like precious faith, as you again shake off the sin and weights that have beset you, and passionately pursue the high calling of God again, in Christ Jesus.

America is Great, because America is Good!

Righteousness Exalts a Nation!

Proverbs 14:34

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

French writer Alexis de Tocqueville, after visiting America in 1831, said, “I sought for the greatness of the United States in her commodious harbors, her ample rivers, her fertile fields, and boundless forests–and it was not there. I sought for it in her rich mines, her vast world commerce, her public school system, and in her institutions of higher learning–and it was not there. I looked for it in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution–and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great!”

This quote may be old, yet it is still true, and I still believe that America is good!

I do not believe this based upon the insanity I see in the Media, or the corruption and treachery I see in politics. I base this upon the fire I still see in the churches, the flaming pulpits of righteousness that still burn with fresh fire taken from the living coals of God’s alters of prayer.

My faith is no longer in the leaders of this nation, but in good, solid, hard-working American’s who still value truth, honor, honesty, hard-work, love, sacrifice, and concern for our fellow man.

Yes, our families are under attack, our government has been shown to be less than perfect, some churches, have laid down their swords, and given up the fight for holiness, and given into to moral compromise.

But I have not!

And I am convinced that I am not alone!

Righteousness exalts a nation, and Jesus is our ever living Lord.

I am calling on good, American people to serve Jesus, and to turn this vile tide of wickedness away from this nation once again.

One by one, person by person, we can decide to live right before God, and any one of us, walking with the Creator of the universe, becomes a majority, as His power displayed justifies, vindicates, and delivers us from wickedness both within our hearts, and from the hearts of those around us.

Love holiness, seek purity, and regain the fire of His presence that will burn through your eyes, as His passion blazes through you.

You will see Jesus, staring back at you in the mirror in the morning, His fire in your eyes, His voice speaking boldly in Your heart, His courage blazing bright for all to see.

Others will see Him too, and want what you have, no matter how much they try and deny Him in their own compromised lives, they cannot deny Him in Yours!

Our church, has embraced the cross, and is again preaching we become people of the cross.

Luke 12:For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

⁴⁹ I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? ⁵⁰ But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! ⁵¹ Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

Burn bright for Jesus today!

Preach to someone! Tell them about His life, His love, His power, and demonstrate it with bold prayers for the miraculous, and watch Him show up and show out in Your life!

Let’s pray!

‘Father, if it is going to be, begin it with me. I’m not looking to this government, my family, even my church, for solutions to America’s problems any more, but I am looking to You, Creator of heaven and earth. Burn like a fire in me. Make me good! Give me places to speak Your word, people who need to see Your power, may my life blaze with love for You, Your passion and zeal in my very eyes. I ask this, knowing I am heard, for I ask in Your name Lord Jesus, Amen’
