Hatred Brings Deception

Hatred brings deception, destruction, and death
hatred
Pr 26:24 ¶ He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;

At our leadership breakfast meeting some years ago morning,  a business leader named Greg Ford brought a great insight on this verse. When someone hates a person in their heart, they constantly speak evil about them, and then think of ways to justify their position, laying up deception and deceit within themselves.

There is a way out of this trap: Forgive the person you hate, and I would add, wherever possible deliberately do that person good, on purpose, to overcome evil with good. (I’m still working on this with some brutal people)

Only then can you walk free of deception, hatred, and evil speaking.

Ever hated someone who did you wrong? Maybe you still do hate them, and maybe what they did was very wrong. Problem is, your hatred is only hurting you right now, and getting you further and further from the love of God.

Forgive, and choose to forget. It’s the only way to walk free of their mess.
unforgiveness
Let’s Pray:
You know the way I feel about ______. I hate their guts, and what they did to me. Only you can make it right. I need you to heal me, and change my heart. I choose to forgive them, even though I still hate what they did. It was wrong, and caused me much pain. Heal my heart Father, and right now, I choose to release them into your hands, trusting you to do right with them. In your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’

Satan Knows Scripture too…

As I again read these passages, I am reminded that satan knows Scripture too…

During the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness we read of the conversation between satan and Jesus:

Matt 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Mt 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Notice here, that Satan tempted Jesus with the Scripture, probably with one of the very verses He was praying and basing His faith upon.

Yet, Jesus knew the voice of the Holy Spirit, and did not yield.

Ever been in that place where God tells you something, and Satan brings Scripture after Scripture to confront, confuse, and sway you from the specific thing you know God told you to do?

Stand upon His Word to you, and His voice. He will comfort, strengthen and sustain you, NO COMPROMISE!

Ps 105: 17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: 19 until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
trial

The very word spoken to your heart is being tested, and so are you. You must prevail over the doubts, rationalizations, ungodly counsel, and even the Scriptures misquoted to your mind and heart by satan himself, to prevail and see His promise performed.

Let’s Pray:

‘Father, I humble myself again before Your mighty hand, asking again, for grace to fulfill that which you promised, without compromise. Jesus, I need You. Amen’

The Spirit of Absalom – Avoid it!

The Spirit of Absalom
Chris Karen Walsh's photo.
2 Sam 13: 6 And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.

David never touched God’s anointed, even when Saul was hunting him in the mountains, and throwing spears at him. When someone comes to you, trying to discredit godly leadership, gently say: ‘Guess we need to pray for them, they have a lot of responsibility’. If the person bringing a bad report refuses to pray, leave. Touch not God’s anointed!
wolves prey
I was in a ministers conference once, and heard a man of God say that it was easy to discover the wolves who entered the flock of God by this simple test. From the pulpit, disclose some personal shortcoming, or moral failure God has forgiven you of. Some personal struggle that Jesus is seeing you through.

The sheep will immediately hit their knees in prayer, for love covers a multitude of sins. The wolves, excited at the sight of blood, will form a gossip network to attempt to destroy you as a leader. Sheep pray, wolves prey. Be one of God’s sheep today.
leaders choice
Let’s pray:
‘Father, you know the difficulties our leaders face, the responsibility they walk in every day. Let me be quick to pray for them, and not to judge them. Protect me from treacherous people, and add to me, people of integrity and honor today, in your name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen”

The Third voice

There is the voice of God, the Holy Spirit, where He speaks to people as only He can. His children hear, obey, and proclaim what He speaks, and He backs up His Word with mighty acts from heaven.

Satan knows this well, so he must destroy the Word, the person, or the credibility of the person who has authentically heard God.

In Eve’s life, the serpant came to the woman, and said, ‘Has God really said?”

satan liar

Immediately, the enemy caused the woman to doubt, to question her husband, and her husbands clear command from the Lord.

The rest is history. She ate of the fruit. She talked her husband into eating of the fruit, and he chose to listen to his wife instead of God. Therein is wisdom husbands, know when to listen to your wife, and when to say, NO, as for me and my house, we shall serve the LORD!

Well, humanity was plunged into darkness that day, and we have all be born into, and born out of Adam’s sin by the blood of Jesus.

Yet, like Adam, our life is designed to affect multitudes for good, for the kingdom of God. As we grow in the Word of God, and learn to hear clearly the voice of God, and to search the Scriptures to ensure we are hearing accurately, there comes kairos moments in the life of a man or a woman of God, where God reveals Himself in glory, and we know, but we know what we must do.

Then comes the test of time, as the onslaught of hell and hellish circumstances threaten to overwhelm the loving heart trying to honestly obey God. Satan screams to the mind and the emotions, the same old lie, ‘Has God really said?’, then brings his regular arsenal of weapons to bear on the holy life, and pure heart. His ABC’s are accusation, blame and criticism, and his whispering campaign begins in the lives of those around us. Gentle insinuations, allegations, innuendoes, designed to malign the character of the saint trying to obey God.

Like Adam, multitudes depend upon our obedience to God, and purity of heart, our courage to uncompromisingly obey. Satan knows this, and as we press into Jesus and His Word, he begins to speak to others around us, to try and subvert the clarity of the call, with worldly wisdom, and the counsel of religious men. Their counsel sounds so wise, so Biblical, yet our heart screams!

satan

There are so many examples in the Scripture where the multitudes were saying one thing, claiming it to be God, where God was speaking the opposite. Micaiah in 2 Chron 18, and 1 Kings 22, actually had a clear revelation of the throne of God, and spoke a pure word from God, and got hit and persecuted for it, when 400 supposed prophets of God spoke the exact opposite (1 Chon 18:5).

So it has been my experience over the years. God speaks to an individual, and if we are lucky, to the other key people involved in what He has called us to do, then for whatever reason, many good Christian people, are left in the dark. They try to reason what I have heard through the Scriptures, but is they are wise, they say, “Unless the Lord reveal it to me, I have no way to judge what has been said.”.

Most though, are not humble enough of heart to take this stance, so they join the 400 false prophets, and declare Scriptures, and proclaim ‘Thus saith the Lord!” when He has not spoken.

I am slowly learning, to not cast my pearls before swine, and to reveal what God has told me, no matter how passionately it was spoken me of heaven, unless He shows me to reveal it.

swine

My biggest error over the years, has been talking to much. Sharing precious revelations from the Lord, that were for me, or a select few I was called to walk with during different seasons of my life and ministry.

I heard Mike Murdoch make the statement, ‘All godly relationships are destroyed by the counsel of a third voice.’, and he went on to explain how godly people’s lives are destroyed by counsel of one usually close to us. One who often cares deeply about us, but who has not heard God, nor understood fully the direction God has us to walk.

Remember Peter and Jesus? Peter had just experienced an authentic revelation from heaven that Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah. Jesus praised Him, then went on to explain to Peter a difficult thing that must come to pass in His life. He told his disciples to keep secret who He was for a season and look what happened.

Matt 16: 20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

21 ¶ From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

Peter loved Jesus, and wished Him no harm. He wanted to protect His master from pain, yet look at Jesus response.

23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Jesus rebuked Peter, and determined to obey His Father, and head for the cross.

So it has been with often good friendships and sometimes even family relationships from people who honestly love me and want to protect me from pain and hardship.

Chris, don’t do that, you’ll lose everything you have worked for.

Were they right? In a sense, yes. I laid down my education, my career, my athletic career, and every earthly desire to follow Jesus, to the ends of the earth.

These people were not evil people, many of them were Christians who honestly cared for me, but they did not know nor understand what the Spirit of God was saying to me, and I had to go and embrace my own personal cross, in obedience to Him.

Look at Paul in Acts. God had told him to go preach in Jerusalem, and a prophet Agabus, confronted him with the hardships he would face there.

Paul shipwrecked

Ac 19:21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

Ac 20:16 For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

Ac 20:22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

Ac 21:4 And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

Ac 21:11 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Ac 21:12 And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

Ac 21:13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Interesting thought in the life of Paul! I believe Paul heard God to go to Jerusalem, and was on His way. In Acts 21, the Holy Ghost sent disciples to warn Paul not to go to Jerusalem, yet Paul determined to go anyway. Did he miss God here? I don’t think so, and here’s why I believe that. Paul continues on, and Agabus the prophet confronts Paul and shows him what pain will welcome him in Jerusalem, but here Paul’s response:

Ac 21:13 Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

The prophet was right. Paul was bound, beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked, yet testified in both Jerusalem and Rome, that the whole earth might hear the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul NT

Obviously God thought much of Paul’s life, allowing much of the New Testament to be written by him, and according to Jesse Duplantis in his trip to heaven, accorded a place among the 12 apostles of the Lamb in heaven.

So it is with me. I am in a difficult season of life, transitioning again at divine command, again seeing the multitudes, and being moved with compassion towards the nations.

All of what I have described here has happened or is happening in my life, yet my face is set like flint upon the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. It is a time of radical intimacy with Jesus through the Holy Spirit, and a time of great consternation for those close friends around me, who know me, care about me, and yet do not have the revelation from heaven I have been given specifically for me to obey personally. His love is a radical thing, and heaven is real! Like Jesus, like Paul, I must press forward in the call of God, no matter how persecuted, misunderstood, or misrepresented others have been to me. In light of eternity, only one thing matters: “Did you do what I asked you to do?”

need1

Takes courage, but my prayer for you is the same as for me.

“Father, show me your perfect will for my life, without compromise, and give me the courage to obey it, no matter the cost. Amen”

Where Do Ghosts Come From?

ghosts

Ghosts and familiar spirits – Demons don’t die, so when a person dies, the demons that have been oppressing them or oppressing them, remain here in the earth. Because they knew the ancestor intimately, they were ‘familiar’ with them, and they disclose knowledge, only the deceased person could have known, supernaturally. This is where we ‘see ghosts’ or have ghosts appear to us in dreams, as past loved ones. This is why ghosts can stay in certain families, for they seek to propagate a generational curse upon that family line. All these curses can be broken through the power of Jesus blood, when we renounce ancestor worship, and receive the life of God.

seance

Ancestors that have died, are gone, either to heaven or hell. The best way to honor them, is to serve Jesus in this generation, the only true path to our heavenly Father, the Great Spirit, our Creator. He forbids worship or seeking of familiar spirits, the ghosts of the past, and would have us seek Him, the Creator of all Life, today.

Leviticus 20:27
A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

As I read Napoleon Hill’s classic, Think and Grow Rich, I saw where Napoleon received much of his ‘leadership’ principals. He claimed to go into an empty room, and ‘invite’ the spirits of great deceased world leaders into the room around a table, and he would ask them questions. They would come, and I am convinced these ‘spirits’ were none other than ‘familiar’ demon spirits, devils that had operated in times past through the very people they now represented at that table. His leadership principals are pretty good though, I wrote an article on them, analyzing them Biblically: https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2013/12/29/leadership-the-fate-of-the-world-depends-upon-it/

God hates this practice, and expressly forbids it in His word. Just because we receive knowledge supernaturally, does not make it from God –

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils
God commands us to stop messing around with demons.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
There are many good books on exposing how these demon spirits work, the one I like the most is ‘The Bondage Breaker’ by Dr. Neil Andersen.
Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord
Just because someone is in ministry, and operating supernaturally, does not mean they are receiving ONLY from the Lord. I have seen ministers that are ‘in the Lord’ at one moment, then operating demonically the next.
Peter did it, and he walked in the very presence of Jesus on the earth! (Matt 16)
familiar spirits
I am not going to write a long article on this, there are many great books already written. Contact me if you would like a reading list.
Let’s pray:
‘Father, Jesus said I would hear His voice, and that You would direct my life supernaturally by Your Word and the Holy Spirit. In every area that I have received or am listening to demons, instead of you, please reveal it, so I can repent. Please forgive me, and my family for ancestral worship, and allowing demonic spirits into our geneology. I receive Your forgiveness, and plead the blood of Jesus over my family. By faith, I renounce every devil operating there, and command it to go. By faith, I break every generational curse upon our bloodline, and declare the Jesus has redeemed us from the curse. By faith, I loose the blessing of God into my family, and declare that as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord, and Him only. I ask and declare these things, knowing I am heard and answered, for I ask in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Taking the Fear Out of Sin…

Taking the fear out of sin…

fear obedience

Judges 21:25

In those days [when the judges governed] there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes

As we have pursued a true grace filled life, fully led of the Holy Spirit, we as a people discover, that we must keep a careful watch upon the words we speak each day, and our actions, being quick to ask Jesus forgiveness when we miss it.

As we have purposed to follow Him fully, we discover the fear of the Lord: not just an awesome reverence for who He is, but an actual respect and fear, as we submit to His intimate correction and chastening.

Hebrews 12:6

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:7

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

It is only those God intimately loves that He corrects, and disciplines…

Yet, it has been said that Jesus bore all of our sins, past, present and future, and that we live a grace filled life, full of love, mercy, goodness, with no consequences for sin.

Let’s look at this for a minute.

If I was the devil, and I wanted to destroy you, but recognized that you were now born-again, powerful, walking in kingdom authority, part of the rule and reign of Jesus, I would not confront you head on.

James 2:19

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Satan knows the awesome power of God, and his judgment to come, and he and his demons tremble.

So, what does he do?

He seduces through deception, and small compromises, and gets you to think that small compromises are okay, God won’t mind, and since the consequences of these compromises are not always immediate – He takes the fear out of sin.

He did it with Eve, in the age old lie, ‘Did God really say?’

Now, he had to replace the fear of consequences, with faith in no consequences.

Let’s look at it.

3 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons

Notice, if you will the beginning of the deception: ‘Hath God said?’v1

Satan knows exactly what God said, and He also knows that if you obey what God said, He has no power over you, you are unstoppable.

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled
full obedience

Notice the next verse, the woman said that we should not eat NOR touch the fruit of the tree.

Here we see her deception, because she had added to the specific commandment of God given to Adam.

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die

Now, the devil lies with specific intent: He says, ‘You shall not surely die’ then he presents glorious rewards,

Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Here is the wonderful deception. ‘You shall be like gods’

  1. They were already like gods. Adam was god of this world, with full authority and dominion to rule the earth, with God.
  2. Knowing good and evil – Satan knew evil, Eve did not. The Bible said she was deceived. Yet, satan’s deception was very good: 1. Disobey the clear commandment of God 2. There will be no consequences for your disobedience 3. You will become greater than you are, like a god.

There is much that can be said here, but the point Holy Spirit has me to make is simple:

Satan works on us by taking the fear out of sin.

More specifically, he takes the fear of the consequences of sin from us.

So, he begins his work on us, just like he did Adam and Eve, because he is at least as smart as Balaam, and knows that if he can get us doing enough hardened sin, God Himself will destroy us.

This is wonderfully illustrated in the Christian movie, ‘TimeChanger’

Time Changer

As I read this passage of Scripture, I was reminded of this truth.

Ezekiel 21:

24 “Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Again and again you remind me of your sin and your guilt. You don’t even try to hide it! In everything you do, your sins are obvious for all to see. So now the time of your punishment has come!

Isaiah 5:21

Woe (judgment is coming) to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever and shrewd in their own sight!

Just because consequences were not instant, does not mean they will not come.

More and more I feel like a voice crying out in the wilderness, with tears in my eyes, and heart full of love for God and His people, crying REPENT!

So few hear, so few apparently care…

Let’s pray:

‘Father, You are holy. Your Word is true. Search me, show me, and give me grace to live holy, pure, and sinless in Your sight, not just positionally through Jesus blood, but practically, in my daily thoughts, words and deeds. I ask you come as a refining fire and grant me purity of heart and motive. I ask, knowing I am heard and answered, for I ask in Your name Lord Jesus.”

Ravenous Wolves….

wolf shepherd

As I learn to walk with Jesus, I again read this verse this morning, and see within it, deeper truth:

Matthew 7:15

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves

test wolf sheep

I know many people of God, who name the name of God, even Jesus, yet I watch the way they are treating people around them, manipulating, slithering around them, to get their own needs met.

Not just financial needs!

Sure we have seen people merchandise the ministry, making some practices look like the old fashioned ‘snake oil salesmen’ or schemers out of the proverbial shell game.

snake oil

Yet it is not just ministry leaders that prey upon God’s sheep. I see it in business and politics too, ambitious, passionate people making merchandise of people with no concern for the care and needs of those they are using.

Ezekiel 22:27

Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain

Isaiah 56:11

But the dogs have monstrous appetites. They never have enough. They are shepherds who don’t understand. All of them have turned to their own ways, every last one greedy for profit.

So what makes a spiritual wolf?

hunger

I believe it is all about hungers….appetites designed to be legitimately met by Jesus and the bread of His Word,  that feed on the flesh and brokenness of others.

It is all about the heart. We have passions that rage within ourselves, needs for love, intimacy, sex, food, success, to be noticed…

God will supply all of these, if we allow Him to break our hearts, and give to us the living waters of His Spirit that Jesus promises, but this is not a quick, microwave thing, it takes hours, daily, alone with Him in prayer, as He gently soaks us with His Spirit, washes us with His Word, feeds our heart of heart with His love, understanding, revelation, and peace, quieting our raging passions in the ocean of His presence.

hungry

Yet, I have learned that most leaders are way too busy for this degree of intimacy, and they gotta GO!

No realizing that in many cases the ‘gotta’ is an unmet appetite, that they are going to get fed in the rough and tumble of life.

Gotta make that deal, sign that contract, make that buck, conquer that person, have sex with the object of my desire.

Self…

Ravenous passions….

The tyranny of unmet expectations, the pursuit of unholy desires….

Jesus saw all this while He was on the earth, which is why I believe He told His disciples:

Matthew 10:16

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

He knew the pride and passion of sinful people, wolves, bloodthirsty predators…

So we walk with Jesus, allowing Him to meet with us deep within the secret places of our heart, and each day, He gently sends us out into this broken world as His sheep, in the midst of people who are as ravenous and predatory as wolves…

intimate need

Yet His command is clear, walk with Him in their midst, as wise as a serpent, as gentle as doves…

Not all leaders are false, God does still call leaders!

Jeremiah 3:15

I will appoint shepherds with whom I’m pleased, and they will lead you with knowledge and understanding

hunger1

John 10:11

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

There are still servant hearted servants of the Lord, laying down our lives for the feeding and leading of God’s people, because we honestly care…

Let’s Pray:

‘Father, thank you for Jesus. May we continually seek You First, and allow you to meet our deepest needs, directly by Your Word and through Your presence Holy Spirit. Protect us from our own raging passions and appetites, and may they rage only for You and Your kingdom. As leaders, may we gently lead, feed, protect, and empower your people, as You gently give us a good word in season, knowledge from heaven to meet the needs of your people. I ask this, looking to You Lord Jesus, the chief shepherd, my Lord, and my King, Amen’

Love Truth – Best Protection for these Last Days!

Love Truth!

truth love

1 Timothy 4:1

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Clearly we are living in the last days, or latter days as this verse describes.

So, if there are seducing spirits, and teachings demonically designed by devils intent on wooing us away from purity, holiness, and obedience to Jesus, and eternal life, how do we protect ourselves from them?

2 Thessalonians 2: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The key that jumps out at me in these verses is ‘they received not the love of the truth’.

Seems clear to me today, that one of the ways we are protected from delusion and deception, is to receive from God, a love for the truth.

truth Bible

Yes, I could say much, much more on this topic, but I have noticed, that if my blogs are more than a couple hundred words, no one seems to read them.

Let’s pray:

‘Father, grant us the gift of a love for the truth. Jesus, You are the way, the truth and the life, and we desire to love You, personally, intimately, that we might know You. In this world of information overload, where indeed knowledge has increased in these last days, we choose to look to You, trusting you to deliver us from deception, delusion, seduction, and the mystery of iniquity that would deceive us, and draw us away, except for Your great power, love and grace towards us. Thank you for Your mercy, and the hearing of Your voice today Lord Jesus, through You Holy Spirit of truth! Amen!

We are not all brothers and sisters unless….

last days

Not everyone is our brother or sister:

Mark 3:(NKJV)

Jesus’ Mother and Brothers Send for Him

31 Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him. 32 And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers[a] are outside seeking You.”

33 But He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?” 34 And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 35 For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.”

Unless we are born-again, and adopted into the family of God, we are not brothers or sisters in the kingdom of God.

John 1:12 (AKJV)

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Acts 4:(AKJV)

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Going to church won’t make you part of the family or kingdom of God, only adoption and submission to the rule of the king: Jesus is Lord.

Have you received Him?

If you need more information on how to do this, please read:

https://chrisaomministries.wordpress.com/2014/11/10/the-gospel-the-power-of-god/

Let’s Pray:

‘Father, I choose to believe that Jesus is God the Son, risen from the dead, seated at Your right hand, second person of the Trinity. I ask the You would forgive my sins, and Lord Jesus, I receive your offer of forgiveness, and eternal life. I choose to submit to Your kingship, lordship and majesty, and ask Sir, for You to reveal Your highest and best purpose for my life, and give me strength and grace to do it. Amen’

Give in faith!

1 Corinthians 9:11 If we have sown [the seed of] spiritual good among you, [is it too] much if we reap from your material benefits?

1 Corinthians 9:14 [On the same principle] the Lord directed that those who publish the good news (the Gospel) should live (get their maintenance) by the Gospel.

Paul goes on to say, that he did not use his position as a minister of the gospel to take up offerings, rather he worked, making tents, to support himself. You might notice here, that Paul was not married, nor did he have children. Family responsibilities take time, and just as you bust a move on your job to provide for your family, I work every bit as hard, doing this, faithful to the Lord in prayer and the ministry of His Word, to you.

I will never charge for this: it my responsibility to God, my calling. Freely I have been given, now, I freely give…

As you give, hear Holy Spirit what to give, and honestly expect God to reward you for your giving.

Matt 10: 41 He who receives and welcomes and accepts a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward, and he who receives and welcomes and accepts a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. 42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.

I am a five-fold ministry gift and office – this is my life – I pray, I hear, I write, and wonderful things happen. You have your job description, I have mine – this is mine….

I have ‘see through’ faith for you, in this: Gal 3: 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

I believe I have a responsibility before God to be like Jesus, in every offering I receive. I receive it with thanksgiving, just like Jesus did the little boys lunch.

Then, because I walk and live by faith according to the blessing of Abraham, I believe that God will take your seed sown, and multiply it, according to what the blessing of Abraham promises:

Genesis 22:17 In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies

It has been a joy to me, to see the hand of the living God act in the lives of those of you who have supported us this year!

Many have seen tremendous blessing come into your households, and for this we give thanks, and give Jesus all the glory!

May Our Elders Be Wise….

May our elders be wise…

elder1

Titus 2:Teach the older men to exercise self-control, to be worthy of respect, and to live wisely. They must have sound faith and be filled with love and patience.

Ecclesiastes 10:1

Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savor; so doth a little folly in him that hath a reputation for wisdom and honor.

I heard an expression in Africa I liked: ‘When an old man dies, a library burns to the ground.’

No one can replace our lives message, if we continue to grow in wisdom and understanding, we become a great gift to generations to come…

If you are one of those “precious saints” called the “elderly”, you can thank God, for you have arrived at the apex of life . . . .

. . . . It is not a sin to get old or to be old. Aging cannot be stopped and it will go on until death overtakes us or the Lord comes for His church. Older folks have a tremendous responsibility to the younger generation coming up behind them. There is a warning that goes along with being in the elite elderly class. The tremendous amount of knowledge and experience that you have obtained through the years needs to be shared with the younger generation. Sin can overtake you and hinder you from sharing the Lord in these challenging years. It may just express itself so as to confine you to utter uselessness. You may have developed a defeatist attitude that makes you think “I am so useless. What can I do?” So you are apt to do nothing. You can be sinful in what you do not do when the opportunity presents itself. All the knowledge and experience that God has given you can be used as illustrations to reveal His truth. There are many college students that do not have or will never have what you obtained in your lifetime . . . .

As we grow in years, we must grow in wisdom…

As one person said: ‘The best time to start seeking and growing in wisdom was years ago, the second best time, is today!’

James 1:5 [Full Chapter]

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.

wisdom

Job 32:I thought, ‘Age should speak;
    advanced years should teach wisdom.’
But it is the spirit[b] in a person,
the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.
It is not only the old[c] who are wise,
not only the aged who understand what is right.

Let’s Pray:

‘Father, grant us wisdom, beyond our years, our frailties, our foolishness, and our passions, that will leave a mark on this world, for generations to come, a legacy of honor that will glorify Your name. In Your precious name I pray Lord Jesus, Amen’
